Chapter 03: The Determination of One who (Nearly) Died
What will you do if you are given second chance in life?
- Anonymous
*Caution: Contains a mild naked scene*
I found myself surrounded by beautiful women beyond measure; long-legged, curvaceous and most important of all, big-breasted. What made this situation even better was that all of them were naked with full frontal view. Although my own view was a little vague, perhaps due to the steaminess of the situation (I swore it was getting hotter in here), nothing was censored.
I was sure that they too could see my perverted face and I’m not ashamed even one bit. And I didn’t care either. If this was a dream, then I would not want to wake up. If I was dead, this was how I want to die, surrounded by women of my dreams with huge breast. Yours truly here clearly had a certain fixation towards full-bosom ladies.
I tried to look for familiar faces among the many beauties that surrounded me, but I knew none except for one; a blonde wood elf girl that looked just like childhood friend. Sehanie was her name. But what was she doing here? Did she finally unable to resist the temptation of my charm anymore? This was the case, then it was the best thing that could ever happened to me.
I let off somewhat a sinister laugh, that soon followed a series of actions that most adults would be jealous of. Why wouldn’t they, as I had my own version of harem. When it came to beautiful women with big breast, I was a greedy fecker alright.
I grabbed the hand of the one that looks like Sehanie and pulled her towards me. Her big breast jiggled as she embraced me tightly to avoid herself from tripping. I could feel the softness of her breast that was on my chest and this made me all hard. My raging teenage hormone was finally kicking in and I couldn’t resist myself anymore.
Then came another beauty that looks like Black Rose. Even her too? Now, now. This was way too good to be true. Black Rose wrapped her arms around me from the back. This was indeed heaven being treated in such a way. And I was soon surrounded by more big breasted naked beauties, each one rivalling one another.
I reached out my hand to grab one pair of the breast that looked like a ripe, juicy melon. Hmmm… that was soft. Then another pair of breast. Then another. And another. I loved breast because it was so, so, so, soft. And then I would be going to suck on them. All of them, starting with you, Sehanie look-alike.
I giggled at myself for the luck where I had found my situation in. It was so different from moments ago, where I was…
Hmmm…. What did I do a moment ago? I couldn’t seem to remember for the life of me. Suddenly, all the beauties vanished before my eyes. Nooooo…. Where had all my big-breasted beauties gone? In that instant, the whole place became dark as I floated for a while. And then, without any warning, the next thing I knew, I was free falling from an extremely high place.
No, no, no….!!! Return my harem. Return them to me at once! I extended my hand towards the dark unknown in front of me, but felt nothing.
“Looks like you are awake.” That was the first voice I listened to when I start to open up my eyes. A gentle female voice.
Ughhh… my head… It was heavy. I furrowed my forehead, massaging it intensely.

“Easy now. Don’t move just yet.”
When I opened my eyes, I saw a female human figure, with dark green hair dressed in a white tunic with pink decoration in front of me. Beautiful, though slightly on the smaller side of the breast scale. Even in this state, I could still identify women from their breast alone.
I strained my eyes from the sunlight that entered the room. “Are you feeling any better, Hasty One?”
I did not answer her. She touched my forehead and then grabbed hold of my hand.
“Hmmm… seems your temperature has dropped. I think you are going to be alright now. I’ll call your Sun Master. Please wait a moment.” Immediately, she stood up and went out of the room. I tried to stop her, but I lacked the strength to do so. I touched my forehead, then my hand as I looked around. I was bandaged all over, in one way or another.
The room was small with ample sunlight coming in through the windows. Judging from the amount, it might be afternoon. And the surrounding seemed familiar too; with a towel and half-filled basin on a table nearby. I have been here many times in the past.
The Brotherhood of the Sun’s infirmary. That lady earlier must be the nurse.
But what happened to me? I struggled to recollect my memories. The throbbing of my head did not help either. However, I gave out a small and wry smile. The dream I had with my ideal harem seemed distant, but somehow it felt so real. The softness of their breast too still stuck onto my palm. Heh, what a dream it was.
Suddenly, my head throbbed yet again and that brought me to my question earlier. I grimaced in pain for a while as I retraced my steps. I was punished by cutting wood, I’d met that mischievous Sehanie and then…
“Sehanie!!!” I shouted out her name. I remembered vividly. But why was I here, of all places? Where was Sehanie? More importantly, what happened after I passed out?
“Calm down, Hasty One.” I heard yet another familiar voice. But this time, it belonged to an old man. I looked up at the source of the voice. Blizzard Hawk.
“It seems that you have trouble remembering what has happened when you are brought here. Doesn’t matter now. You are safe and you are within the wall of guild-city” I tried to adjust my position and sit up. Ughhh, my body feels so heavy and sluggish.
“Take your time, Hasty One. Don’t exert yourself unnecessarily.” Blizzard Hawk pulled a stool over to my side.
“Looks like they took care of you really good. You are their favourite after all.” He took out his smoking pipe and began to smoke. Hey, you couldn’t smoke in here, especially in an infirmary. I would report on you.
“Give them your thanks when you feel better alright. Especially that nurse. She took really good care of you without any rest of her own.”
“How long have I been out for?” I could understand my situation a bit better now. I must have passed out all these time. Perhaps an hour or two.
“Three days and two nights.”
“Ohhhh… just three days…[email protected]#@! “ I looked at him, bewildered as I raised up three fingers.
“Three days and two nights?” Blizzard Hawk nodded. “Then…. Then… what happened to Sehanie? A-And the girl?”
“Relax, Hasty One. Calm down. If you mean the Wood Elf girl that we found you with, we brought her back here to the infirmary. She woke up 2 days ago, and true to her kind, once she was healed, she then took off without much notice. However, she did leave a thank you note. And to be sure of her safety, I did contact one of the Village Elder, and right on the dot, she was back among them. So, she is safe at the moment.”

He deliberately puffed a smoke out.
“My, my. That girl is pretty strong. When we found you, she was crying while hugging you, never wanting let you go at all. Only after my whole-hearted persuasion that she let go of you, although reluctantly. Unfortunately, she did pass out after that.”
I gave a dry smile and breathe a sigh of relief. But then, another memory stirred me up one more time. “What about the other girl?” I asked.
“Hmmm… the other girl?” Blizzard Hawk paused for what it seemed like an eternity. If I did not know any better, I was sure he was pulling my legs.
“You will see her again, soon enough.”
“What do you mean soon enough? Tell me, what happened to her. Did she survive? Did she…”
That was all I could mutter before I passed out again. Into a deep but dreamless slumber. The sky was reddish when I woke up. The scene in the infirmary room had changed into something more familiar and nostalgic. I was back in my own room, surrounded by plethora of my personal belonging scattered around through all the four corners of the room. Someone must have carried me back here, I thought.
I tried to sit up and unlike before, I felt lighter. It was not heavy anymore and I didn’t have those terrible headaches to accompany all the movements I’d made, even the slightest ones.
I looked through the window. It was going to be dusk soon. I stood up, albeit feebly and got myself change into a more comfortable outfit. My Initiate tunic was neatly folded on top of the desk. Beside it, was a vial of potion and a note underneath it. I opened up the note and it said,
Drink it when you woke up. You will feel much better. With love, your nurse.
I gave a slight smile, saying my word of thanks to her under my breath. I finished up the vial in one go. Tasteless but after a while, I could feel a certain heat coming from inside my gut. An energy potion ehh…
Perhaps Blizzard Hawk made one for me and passed it to the nurse to be given to me when I awaken. Though often overbearing, I would be sure to thank him too.
I’d finally changed into more familiar clothing. It didn’t take long before I was walking down the hallway into the guild-city courtyard. This courtyard was one of the many located on the western side of the guild-city, housing those of Journeyman rank and below in dormitories. Since I was still an Initiate, the lowest of official rank, it was no surprise I was still at this part of the area.
By the way, all the dormitories are co-ed, but there was nothing to see here. Why? Because these dormitories were filled with kids below 10 years of age and I was the oldest here. Contributed by none other than my hate of core paper exam that I stuck here for 10-goddamn years! I hated the theoretical exam where I have to memorize facts and whatnot inside those thick tomes they called the lore and histories.
However, the best part of the dormitories belonged to the Eastern courtyard. This was where the beauties were in. Girls my age and older. But, it was reserved to those who had achieved the rank Guardian and above, just below the rank of Sun Master. Northern courtyard contained houses instead of dormitories. These were the place where all the Sun Masters, who chose to live in the guild-city resided; including Blizzard Hawk and Black Rose.
Meanwhile, the Southern Courtyard was the busiest section during the day time. And even on certain nights too. The classes, mess hall (I smiled when I think of that particular place), weaponsmith, armoursmith, battle arenas, magical testing ground, laboratory, library, and many more other buildings that at my current ranking were not permitted to enter were situated here. Scattered between all the quadrants of the guild-city were the statues of Lord Supreme Grand Master, all 103 of them, from our very first founder, Saint Regulus Sirius to our current one, Lord Aldebaran, who I would prefer to call the old geezer.
He still looked the same from the first time I was here until today. I wondered how old was he anyway? Perhaps more than 100 years. Even though he was really ancient for a human, his physical and mental conditioning could put to shame to those much, much younger than him. Honestly, that included me too.
And there was a rumour that he had more than five wives. It has been circling around for quite some time in the guild-city, though I’m not very sure about the authenticity of it. One thing for sure though that whether he had all the wives at the same time, I never met any of them even when I used to eat at his personal chambers. However, I was definitely envious that he has his own mini harem, rumours or not. Which men would not want more wives. I would, if I was given the chance.
And at the centre of this big-arse guild-city was the most important landmark, the Tower of the Sun which stood more than 300 feet tall. This was where the Chamber of Solaris was located, where all the important events and engagements would often be held. And at the top of the Tower of the Sun was the personal chamber of our Lord Supreme Grand Master. And on the dome-roof of the Tower was our Brotherhood’s banner, a flag with a blazing sun drawn on it. It was our official coat of arms.
The banner too was our symbol of hope, to each and every one of us, no matter what rank we were. I bet the view at the very top must be amazing especially during at night when there was meteor shower. But not tonight. It was all quiet, since all the kids were asleep by this time and the breeze felt so good. It surely did for someone who just died. Well, nearly died anyway. The near encounter with death made me thought about lots of things in my life especially how I took my training and learnings in here.
“…upon hardship of training and learning new skills... you will become a better person”
I muttered one of our ethos under my breath. Blizzard Hawk used to say this in all of his classes. I used to think it was a ruse, a mischievous little plot, or a scheme even to make us work harder than necessary. However, after that incident a few days ago, I started to think twice. No, thrice.
I unsheathed my wooden practice sword that I used to take it with me back in the early days when I was new in the Brotherhood and I swung in a specific move, non-stop. Just a basic movement after such a long time. When was the last time I train at this hour? The skill I was practising currently was an Initiate level sword skill, called the First Movement of the Sun Sword. I wondered how many level or movement this particular skill has. I better check with my battle masters later today.
Although I used to work, train and study harder than everyone else, the results never showed. In fact, I began to feel I was useless. Nothing I do was working anyway. I began to see myself as a failure. 10 years as an Initiate where the average years to reach the rank of the Senior Journeymen were only 3 years at most. Because of that, I began to lash out. At everything. And I start to avoid everyone, even Sehanie.
I became aloof. A rebellious teenager who avoids everyone, save for a few people.
Mind you that I still wanted my ideal harem no matter the outcome of my works, training or lessons. However, I now began to think – could I be a better person than I am today than yesterday? Could I be a better person tomorrow than today?
Would I be useless again in battle, failing to save even my own friends? Sehanie nearly died because of my weakness. Even that girl too. If she died, it was all because I was weak and useless. I hate having this feeling. I feel so, so helpless.
Tears started to flow down my cheeks as I continue to swing my wooden sword.
All because I lack power! The power to make a difference. Did I crave power? Yes, I crave it. There was nothing worse than watching those by my side dying, with me being unable to take any actions. I despised myself for my weakness and my uselessness.
I needed to rise to the top, carry with me the will of the fallen and the hope of those who survive. And I couldn’t do that, being idle like I used to anymore. Even if it takes another 10 years, I would not stop striving for more power. More and more power so I didn’t have to undergo that experience, ever again. Even a second could make all the difference between life and death.
I looked up to the sky, as the first ray of morning light illuminated the courtyard. I did not even notice the amount of time I was here as I began to see some activities going on, especially in the dorm areas. Time to pack my stuff and go back to my room.
“Do you crave power?!” Suddenly, a shiver run through my spine. I remembered that voice, but it sounded so distant. Like a bad dream or something.
“And do you have whatever it takes to gain this power?!” I grasped the hilt of my wooden sword and bit my lips until it bled. I raised my head upwards with such intensity in my eyes that I never thought I had before.
“Yes!!!” I answered loudly. I had made my determination and this time, I would see it to the end of my days. With that etched deep into my mind, body and soul, I retired to my room in haste to prepare for my first lesson of the day.
