“My head hurts?!” (Hokage) said as he was sitting down on a nearly broken stool.

All of the council members were still staying at the council room, or at least what was left of it. They didn’t have any other place to go, and for some reason no one offered them to have a meeting at one of their places. It was probably destroyed, or something I dunno.

“I don’t get it lord Hokage. Why don’t we just ask Chris to heal us of our wounds, you heard what Danzo said about Chris’s powers.” (Koharu)

“He has already done enough. He stopped whatever Luna unleashed on the city, don’t you think that he deserves a break. And besides, these kind of wounds will heal in like a few days or so.” (Hokage)

“Fine.” (Koharu) said.

“Lord Hokage, may I speak for just a moment.” (Hiashi)

“Go on Hiashi.” (Hokage)

“It was my fault that we got into this mess. I never should have mentioned anything about his powers, I broke my promise to him, and I caused a huge mess in the village, forgive me.” (Hiashi) gaved a solemn deep bow.

If he had not mentioned Chris’s powers before, then things might have turned out differently. But all he was trying to do was help Chris, in the end the entire council room was cut in half, and some of the buildings were destroyed. Luckily no one died or recieved fatal injuries.

“Please raise your head up high Hiashi. No one could have predicted that Danzo would betray us in broad daylight, or that he would even attack us. It was my duty as Hokage to protect the village from people like him, but I failed miserably.” (Hokage)

In the end, the Hokage and the rest couldn’t land a fatal wound on Danzo at all. If it weren’t for Luna interferring, then one of them could have really died. They were all extremely lucky to not have one of them die.

“It’s okay lord Hokage, Danzo was a very strong opponent, so there is no need to feel so down.” (Mebuki) said to comfort the old man.

“Hm! That is why this why I am gonna announce my retirement.” (Hokage)

“What?!” (Everyone) but Shikaku said out loud.

Shikaku was a smart man, so he already knew that the Hokage would atleast consider retiring. But he didn’t expect him to announce it so soon.

“Let me explain. I have been the Hokage for a very long time, and my age is taking a huge toll on me. If I was still at my prime, things would have been very different today, bad sadly I am becoming old and weak.” (Hokage)

“Hm!” (Council members) agreed to his statement.

“So I think it’s fair to mention my retirement right now.” (Hokage)

“But lord Hokage, the Chuunin exams are still going, so is it a smart idea to retire right now.” (Koharu)

“There is no law that states that a Kage cannot retire during the Chuunin, or any other exams.” (Hokage)

“I see.” (Koharu) went back to her deep thinking.

“But who are you gonna elect to become the next Hokage.” (Choza) couldn’t help but ask.

All the council members turned to face the lord Hokage, they were curious to know who it will be.

“Well let’s look at the facts. The 5 sages are definitely people who could become the next Hokage, they have the mind and the power to do it. But Orochimaru is a traitor, so not him. JIraiya is well, Jiraiya, but he might become the next Hokage.

Tsunade’s family is the Senju clan, if we were to get rid of her bad habits, then she might become the perfect candidate. She is also very strong, and her medical skills are one of the best in the elemental nations.

Dom is on leave right now, so god knows when he’ll be back. He might be the weakest of the 5 sages, but he’s loyal to Konoha and strong as well. It’s a shame he’s not here or I would have chosen him to be the next Hokage.

Isabella is the strongest of the 5 sages, but she is on a mission that I gave her 10 months ago.” (Hokage)

“Um what mission was it, and how come we have never heard of this?!” (Shikaku)

“ ‘sigh’ There is no reason to hide it anymore if Hina is healed already. About a year I was planning on retiring as the Hokage, I even had a canditate in mind. It was Hina Hyuga who was gonna be the next Hokage.” (Hokage)

“WHAT!!!” (Everyone) yelled out, even the composed Hiashi couldn’t help but yell with the others.

“You guys don’t know this but Hina was my first candidate that came to mind, she was perfect for the job. She has the strength of a Kage, she has smarts, and she is loved by all. But that changed when she was poisoned.” (Hokage)

“I still don’t see how this is related to Isabella?” (Hiashi)

“Isabella and Hina are great freinds, they were probably even closer than sisters. And just before I could tell her about the news, she fell ill. I assigned Isabella Nocturne to find a cure for Hina’s illness, that’s why she hasn’t showed up in the village for less than a year.” (Hokage)

“But why didn’t you assign Isabella as the 5th Hokage, she is a better candidate than Hina. No offense Hiashi.” (Choza)

“Some taken.” (Hiashi) replied a tad bit annoyed.

“You all should know that Isabella is someone who is curious to explore the whole world. Meaning that being the Hokage she would have to be responsible for the village, and it’s people. She would reject the proposal without a second thought.” (Hokage)

“I see.” (Choza)

“It’s true. She would spend most of her time outside of Konoha, rather than inside. But now that Hina is cured, why can’t you just propose to her the job of the Hokage.” (Inoichi)

“I did, as soon as she was cured I told her about the job. Hiashi told me about her condition as soon as she was cured, but what he didn’t tell me was how or who cured Hina Hyuga.” (Hokage)

“Sorry lord Hokage, I couldn’t tell you at that time.” (Hiashi)

“No worries Hiashi, I have also kept you some secrets from all of you, so its fair that you have some secrets as well.” (Hokage)

“But you still haven’t answered the question lord Hokage. Did Hina accept the proposal.” (Mebuki) couldn’t help but ask anymore.

“She rejected the job.” (Hokage) said and smiled a bit.

“Hm!” (council) members kinda predicted this.

“Did she tell you why.” (Koharu)

“She said that she was flattered, but couldn’t accept something as important as being the 5th Hokage. She was happy just being a proud Hyuga member.” (Hokage)

“M-hm!” (Hiashi) proudly nodded.

“So the question still stands lord Hokage. Who is the next candidate in mind.” (Shikaku)

“We can safely assume that Orochimaru, Dom, and Isabella are out of the picture. So the only two people left are Jiraiya, and Tsunade.” (Hokage)

“Want me to send some of my guards to find Jiraiya. Tsunade is nowhere to be found, and Jiraiya is at the village.” (Inoichi)

“It’s okay Inochi, I already send out some people to find him.” (hokage)

“Lord Hokage!” (Anko) came in.

“Yes, Anko?!” (Hokage)

“I have some news regarding a certain individual named Danzo.” (Anko)

“Did you find him?!” (Hokage) couldn’t help but quickly ask her.

“He’s dead sir. I brought his body here with me, well as someone that I accidentally ran in the way.” (Anko)

Anko then pushed someone that was lying on her back, and into the ground. It was Might Guy who has suffered a lot of damage.

“I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata! I am not a Pinata!” (Guy)

Poor Guy. He probably suffered a lot of damage from the group of kids hitting him as if he were a pinata?

"What’s his deal?!” (Hokage)

“No idea. He was in this state as soon as I found him, for some reason he has been repeating the same words you are hearing right now, for a long time.” (Anko)

“I’ll take him to a hospital.” (Mebuki) volunteered to help the poor Guy.

“Then let’s get straight to the point Anko. What do you mean he’s dead.” (Hokage)

“This is what happened.” (Anko) explained everything to them about what happened to Danzo, and took out his dead corpse that she sealed on a scroll.

Everyone was shocked about this news. Anko didn’t tell them about Itachis news rinnegan eyes, since he had his eyes closed the whole time. What she did tell them was the scroll that had all the scroll that had all of Danzo’s shady dealings.

The Hokage grabbed the scroll, which Anko offered him. Read through it, and a hint of fear could be seen through his eyes. He quickly called for all of his remaining Anbu, to find Jiraiya as quickly as possible.

“How long have you known about this Anko.” (Hokage)

“About 10 hours sir.” (Anko)

“Why did you not tell me about this as soon as you got it?!” (Hokage)

“The scroll mentioned a lot of Orochimaru’s secret labs, so I went solo to see if he was there. Sadly he wasn’t in any of them.” (Anko)

“Anko! Facing off against someone like Orochimaru alone is practically suicide, how could you be so stupid.” (Hokage)

“It’s because I want to get rid of this stupid curse as soon as possible, and only he knows how to do it. It might have been a foolish decision to go solo, but it was mine to make.” (Anko) said without a hint of guilt of what she just did.

“Ay ay ay, my head hurts a lot... Are you by any chance talking about the 12:00 Am curse.” (Hokage)

“Yes!” (Anko)

“hm!.....If you do something like this again Anko, I will arrest you for witholding information that could endager everyone in the village.” (Hokage)

“Yes sir!” (Anko) not a hint of emotion could be heard from her words.

“Dismissed! And where the hell is that Jiraiya?!” (Hokage)

Anko soon left. And almost immediately after she left, Koharu couldn’t help but ask.

“Lord Hokage, what was it that made you scared from reading that scroll.” (Koharu)

The Hokage threw the scroll to Koharu, and everyone was squishing Koharu from all sides to see what kind of information the scroll has. Koharu didn’t pay attention to them, and just began to read the scroll.

“Orochimaru is planning to attack the leaf village.” (Choza) yelled in shock.

(Oh my god, this is probably the biggest twist of all time…… Not really.)

“That bastard, he is even getting help from the sand village. I say that we must attack the Kazekage while we still have the chance.” (Koharu)

“Before you go making rash judgements Koharu, read it properly first. It says that the Kazekage is being controlled by Orochimaru, so it means that the Kazekage is not to blame for this.” (Shikaku)

“It still means that he is controlled, and that Orochimaru will use this to his advantage to destroy the leaf village.” (Koharu)

“It means that Orochimaru has planned this very carefully. He is a smart bastard to come up with something like that.” (Shikaku)

“What do you mean?!” (Choza) asked his friend.

“Think about it. If we were to attack the Kazekage, then we will go to far with Suna, and possibly start the next great ninja war. This will also favour Orochimaru since he could literally destroy us if we were to be weakened.” (Shikaku)

“That… that makes sense. But we can’t just let them do what he wants, while we do nothing about it. We’re basically sitting ducks here.” (Koharu)

“I know, but we must not do things rashly. It is mentioned on the scroll that the invasion isn’t scheduled for another month, so we need to use this time wisely and formulate a plan to capture the snake bastard, and to lessen the damage that could befall on our village.

And let’s not forget about the 1 tails that they have, and the 3 tails that we captured a while ago. In the scroll it is mentioned that Orochimaru is somehow gonna use both of these tailed beasts to help destroy the leaf village. He must have thought this for quite a while, it’s almost perfect, too bad for him that we got ahold of this information.” (Shikaku)

“I agree with Shikaku. For now we silently formulate a plan from the shadows, so that we don’t alert Orochimaru or the Kazekage about any of this.” (Hokage)

“Yes lord Hokage!” (Council members) said in unison.

Then someone barged into the door. It was a bald man who had some shabby clothes, and the appearance of an old man.

“I’m here lord Hokage, sorry I took so long.” (???)

“Who are you?” (Hokage)

“Don’t you recognize me old man, it’s me the magnificant and super pervert Jiraiya.” (Jiraiya)

“Jiraiya!!! What the hell happened to you. you look like a monk or something?” (Hokage)

At first he didn’t recognize Jiraiya, because his long hair was missing. After carefully inspecting his clothes, and the tone of his voice, he could confirm that it is indeed Jiraiya.

“I don’t wanna talk about it.” (Jiraiya) said still remembering what Anko did to him.

“Never mind that. I need you to tell me if you know where Tsunade is.” (Hokage)

“No sir, she’s been off my radar for quite a while.” (Jiraiya)

“Then how fast can you find her.” (Hokage)

“It depends, but I estimate about a few weeks atleast.” (Jiraiya)

“Good. Then I am gonna assign you an S-ranked mission to bring back Tsunade in 3 weeks.” (Hokage)

“Can I ask why?” (Jiraiya)

“Read this first.” (Hokage)

The Hokage signalled Koharu to give Jiraiya the scroll to read, which she rolled the scroll over to Jiraiya.

He then picked it up and started reading it very carefully. He finished quick, and his face changed to anger.

“That bastard!” (Jiraiya)

“I know. I am gonna need Tsunade’s strength for the upcoming invasion.” (Hokage)

“It’s gonna be hard to convince her, she doesn’t care at all anymore, and you should know better than anyone of her fear for blood.” (Jiraiya)

“I don’t have much of a choice.” (Jiraiya)

“Lord Hokage if I may interrupt for a moment.” (Koharu)

“What is it!” (Hokage)

“How can we be sure if what everything is written here is true. Itachi is still a traitor, so how can we believe that if anything he wrote in this scroll is even true.” (Koharu)

“It’s all true!” (Anko) said as half of her body was seen peeking from the front entrance.

“Anko? I thought you left.” (Hokage)

“I did. But I then followed Jiraiya’s tracks here, and I was waiting for him to come out.” (Anko)

“I am not even gonna ask why. What I am gonna ask is how do you know if what Itachi said is true.” (Hokage)

The entire council members never stopped to think that it was possible that Itachi made up a great story, to trick them.

“Because we all know that he’s a better person than this.” (Shikaku)

Shikaku on the other hand already thought of this possibility, and he knew that Itachi isn’t lying at all.

“Exactly, my pony tailed friend. When he gave me the scroll, I couldn’t find a single lie in his voice. And there is no reason for him to lie to us at all.” (Anko)

“Then why would he help us, is he telling us that he’s an ally of some sort.” (Koharu)

“No! I believe he only did this to protect his precious siblings. And he possibly only killed Danzo for revenge only.” (Anko)

“Hmm!” (Koharu) couldn’t find anything to confront her reasons.

“Then let’s get right on the plan. How soon do you think you can leave to find Tsunade.” (Hokage)

“Tomorrow. But can I wait for a bit.” (Jiraiya)

“How come?” (Hokage)

“I promised Naruto to learn the summoning technique, and he has only gotten down the basics. I request to bring him along with me.” (Jiraiya)

“Hm! As long as he doesn’t slow you down, and that you protect him at all costs, I agree with this.” (Hokage)

This got Koharu mad. She never liked Naruto because of what’s inside him, but there was nothing she could do if the Hokage agrees to Jiraiya’s request.

“Thank you Hokage. See ya!” (Jiraiya) then left, he didn’t take the front door since Anko was waiting there. So he took the place where Luna cut down the council room earlier.

“Hey come back here, I am still not finished with you.” (Anko) then gave chase to Jiraiya.

“Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running! Running!” (Jiraiya) fled as fast as he could.

“Now before we get with our plan, there are some things we need to go over. First, Chris and Luna need a secure place to stay. I suspect that Orochimaru knows about Chris’s powers, and that he might also do something to Luna and Sasuke Uchiha. Does anyone here have a plan for them.” (Hokage)

“I do. I can let Chris stay at the Hyuga compound, I feel bad for what I did to him, it’s the least I can do.” (Hiashi)

“Good! The Hyuga place is indeed a lot more safer than his cheap apartment. But do you mind if you take Luna as well.” (Hokage)

“Why Lord Hokage?!” (Hiashi)

“From the reports I recieved, Chris and Luna are in a relationship. I believe that Chris is able to calm down Luna if she were to ever let loose her powers again. I know i’m asking for a lot, but it’s for the good of the leaf village.” (Hokage)

HIashi gave it some thought. He doesn’t mind if Chris comes to his place. But he’s more worried if Luna were to unleash her Susanoo in the middle of his house, it’s too risky. But the Hokage had a very good point.

“I accept! But I won’t take in Sasuke Uchiha with me, two is already enough.” (Hiashi)

That was just an excuse, he has more than enough space for a lot of people. He just personally didn’t like Sasuke, since it reminded him of his nephew, Neji. Those two should never meet each other at all costs.

“Hm… does anyone else want to take in Sasuke Uchiha to their place.” (Hokage)

No one answered. They all thought the same thing as Hiashi. Although his attitude has improved a bit, it still needs a lot of work.

“Very well then, i’ll just put him with Kakashi. Any objections!” (Hokage)

They all shook their heads.

“Good! Then dismissed!” (Hokage)

Now they all knew of Orochimaru’s scheme, so they were gonna be extra careful from today. Danzo’s corpse was taken to the incinerator, and his ashes will soon be thrown to the thrash. They don’t keep the corpse of traitors like him, only people who are loyal to Konoha get to have a proper burial.

Isabella is still a mystery to this day. The reason why the Hokage decided to send Jiraiya to track Tsunade instead of Isabella, is because it might even take months for them to find Isabella.

They don’t know her real power, only some things like her friendship with Hina, and that she is the strongest sage.

She would mostly explore to the deepest parts of the world, and everytime she would somehow come back stronger than before. But the Hokage believed that soon Isabella will soon learn about Hina’s condition, and will soon return. Atleast that is what he hopes for.
