“Mind telling me what the hell happened. White zetsu came out of nowhere and yelled out that you two were in big trouble.” (Pain) said a bit annoyed. Who in their right mind would dare attack them. Unless if that person was Isabella, then he has no reason to fear them.

“I cannot explain it in simple words. But it seems that we're dealing with an enemy of unknown origins. He also said something very interesting.” (Black zetsu)

“What did he say?” (Pain)

“Something about Itachi's eyes. We all know that he has unlocked the rinnegan, but he never told us how he did it. And this Fan person claims that he has something to do with it.” (Black zetsu)

“Hmm… i'll summon him when we get back to the main base. Anything else that I should know.” (Pain)

“One more thing, something about 5 Kekkai Genkais that he claims he used to possess.” (Black zetsu)

“5?! That's impossible. The only person with the most Kekkai Genkais Is 4, and he lives in Konoha.” (Pain)

That person he's referring to is obviously Chris.

“That's the person I was gonna mention as well. This Fan person, says that he had Chris’s Kekkai Genkais, but was also an Uchiha possessing the sharingan eyes as well. And he had claimed that they were taken away from him. He didn't say who or when.” (Black zetsu)

“... I have lived for a while now, and there is no such man. I bet that if we were to go the ninja files, then no such man would be alive.” (Pain)

“I know it's confusing if you think about it. He mentioned that the whole world has forgotten him, and that he was feared by everyone.” (Black zetsu)

“And you believe him.” (Pain)

“I don't know. I will need to look it up, and find more evidence.” (Pain)

“I'll go with you.” (Obito) said to black zetsu.

“I'm afraid that it's not possible. This man appeared out of nowhere, just so he could gouge out your eyes. I bet that he has the same plans for other sharingan users as well.” (Black Zetsu)

“I will not let someone come and go as please. At first this was fun, but now it's something much more serious.” (Obito)

“... I've been thinking, and he's right, obito. You don't even have any idea where to look, much less where to begin. As the leader of the Akatsuki, you are not allowed to go find them on your own.” (Pain)

“Don't speak about being a leader at a time like this. You and I both know that without me, there's no you.” (Obito)

“I will not back down from this, Obito. I am stronger than you are, and you will listen to me.” (Pain)

“Cocky, aren't we. I know that you don't have much time to live, that's why you're speeding up the process to capture all the tailed beasts. What were to happen if everyone on the Akatsuki knows about your current condition.” (Obito)

This time Pain snapped and used his All mighty force on Obito. Obito was send flying back, then hit his back hit on a sturdy tree.

“Let's get one thing straight, I am not your puppet, and I don't like to be threatened. You and I have the same motives, but if you try to get in my way again, I will not hesitate to kill you.” (Pain)

Then the other six paths of pain formed a line beside him. They were waiting if Obito tried to attack him.

“Hm! You're right. But when the time comes, and you die, because you failed to capture the tailed beasts on time, I will be there to laugh at your misfortune. Because you weren't simply strong enough to capture the tailed beasts.” (Obito)

“Laugh all you want, but it still won't bring your dead girlfriend back to life.” (Pain)

Obito snapped as well, and charged his Kunai directly at Pain.

Pain anticipated this attack, then clashed his Kunai with Obito’s Kunai.

“Let's talk about the dead. You couldn't save your best friend because you were too weak to save him. So with your little sick mind, and powers, you are using his corpse to do your bidding.” (Obito)

“You call me sick? You killed your own sensei, when it wasn't even his fault for the death of your girlfriend. You should have blamed yourself for being too weak to save your girlfriend.” (Pain)

“Let's talk about weak shall we. You single handedly lost to a girl, that pretty much tells me pretty much everything I need to know just how weak you are. You are a failure to this group, and you will soon be dead.” (Obito)

“Enough of this!” (Black zetsu) broke this fight from the sidelines.

“Tsk! I'm going to find this Fan, with or without the Akatsukis help.” (Obits) then used his Kamui to teleported somewhere else.

Black zetsu wanted to stop him, but pain extended his hand to block black zetsu’s path.

“Leave him. I'll contact Itachi about this Fan person. And you will investigate how this Fan person is related to Chris. Once you finish that, you will tell me everything about your experience fighting Fan.” (Pain)

“...Yes leader.” (Black zetsu) obeyed. Then he went deep underground, and disappeared from the site.

Now that Fan disappeared, along with his weird shaped disc, black Zetsu can once again travel underground. Of course he travelled along with his new silver weapon.

‘Once I have the tailed beast, I will accomplish what I have dreamed for, and no one will be able to stop me. Not even you, Obito, or even, Madara.’ Pain thought to himself.

BACK TO CHRIS

“Why are we here?” (Chris)

After the tournament ended, the Phoenix king brought me to a place deep in the woods. But everything here is dead. All the grass, trees, everything looked dry and dead. I have no idea why he brought me here.

“Simple really, I'm gonna teach you the strongest natural energy known to birdkind.” (Phoenix king)

“Cool. So what is this new natural energy you keep talking about.” (Chris)

“I thought that you would have guessed. Do you know anything about plants?” (Phoenix king)

“... not really, why?” (Chris) I said a bit confused.

“You see, this new natural energy isn't really a natural energy. It's more like a Kekkai Genkai.” (Phoenix king)

A natural energy, that's like a Kekkai Genkai? That's a new one.

“The natural energy I'm talking about, is to control plants.” (Phoenix king)

So… I came all this way, so I could grow some plants… huh! This is gonna be interesting.

“What? Were you expecting something else.” (Phoenix king) said as he saw my face changing slightly.

“No, I'm just kinda curious how this plant energy is as powerful as you say.” (Chris)

“Do not underestimate plants, young human. It might sound weak, but it's a very frightening power to wield. Do you know why me or my children, don't use such a power, but instead rely on another type of natural energy.” (Phoenix king)

“Nope, why?” (Chris) although I had a good idea why they didn't use such a natural energy, i didn't dare say it.

“Because this plant energy, once killed my mother.” (Phoenix king)

Wow! It suddenly got dark, and sad.

“This is how it happened.” (Phoenix king)

Aw shit! I came here to learn some new powerful natural energy, not listen to a sad tale.

“My father was the creator of the plant energy, he actually grew the entire forest you see here. And he and my mom build the village from scratch, with the help of others.

Then my father died. It was a sad day for us. I was still a kid, and my dad’s natural energy actually produced seeds for us to feed. But when he died, we only had food left for several thousand years.” (Phoenix king)

… you know what, I won't say anything, it just feels really… uncomfortable, saying something right now.

“Even though a thousand years seems a lot to a human like you, it's merely a blink of an eye for us Phoenixes.

My mom then tried to learn to control dad’s own natural energy. But she failed, and was turned into a plant statue. This means that if we're not careful enough, we could die. This is why I avoided risking me and my children's life.

This dead part of the forest that you see here, is a sign that the forest is about to die. Unless someone worthy enough to manipulate natural energy, learned to use it properly, then the bird species will survive for another millennium.” (Phoenix king)

“Not to be rude, but I really want to learn to use this natural energy, so can we hurry it up please.” (Chris)

No seriously, how many sad stories have you heard like this.

“I have seen ‘your lie on april’ there is nothing out there that can make me cry.” (Chris)

“..... I have not idea what you just said, so let's just skip my sad story and just proceed to training.” (Phoenix king)

Then the Phoenix king took out a small scroll under his wing, then handed it to me.

“This scroll should give you insight to use the plant energy. But be warned, use it the wrong way, and it will kill you.” (Phoenix king)

You know, for someone who doesn't like to talk a lot, he sure speaks a lot.

“... do you by any chance, have a way to dispel the natural energy inside me, like with a stick or something?” (Chris)

I kinda remember when Naruto tried to learn sage mode, this toad who taught him, would occasionally hit Naruto before the sage energy would devour his whole body.

“No need for that, I have my own way.” (Phoenix king)

… I don't like the way he said that.

Then I sat on the dead grass, then started reading the scroll very thoroughly.

Once I was done reading it, I closed my eyes and started concentrating on what the scroll said. I then absorbed the energy around me.

Oh shit! I can feel the energy inside me about to explode, I'll die at this rate.

“I gotcha, kid.” (Phoenix king) didn't waste any time and launched my body a red flame from his body.

I could feel my body burn, but the energy inside me was gone? How did he do it.

“Put on some clothes on, kid.” (Phoenix king)

I looked down, and all my clothes were gone. The red flame must have burned them to ashes.

I didn't get startled or anything, and just casually made come more clothes with the power of creation. The birds don't see my naked form as anything strange, because they're a different species, so there is nothing to be ashamed of.

“Your red flame cancelled out the energy inside me, how?” (Chris)

“Each flame has their own unique properties. The red flame can burn anything, even the energy inside you. I tested it on some few birds before. But how come you didn't yell in pain, this flame is quite painful, not only that but you heal extremely fast. You are indeed a very interesting human.” (Phoenix king)

Thank god for my skills and Kekkai Genkais. Which reminds me, where is blue screen. He's really taking his time reading that one piece chapter.

And so, I started learning the plant energy. I asked the Phoenix king if I could make shadow clones to speed upon my training. He said yes, but only 10, no more than that amount.

And thanks to that, my training went smoother.

I wonder how everyone else is doing.

BACK TO KONOHA

Hinata and Luna finished their training with my shadow clone. Hanabi was still practicing her waltz until the day of her birthday. Which is one day after the third round of the chunin exams.

Hina kept observing her little niece, as she progressed everyday with her waltz skills. I was also happy that my time teaching Naruto and the others also payed off.

Since Hinata and Luna both agreed last night to go shopping after tranining, that's what they did. The both of them were now out exploring the area, and bought whatever they liked.

Luna and Hinata both came from a wealthy family, so they didn't need to worry about money at all.

“I am really enjoying this, Hinata. I never had a friend to hang out with.” (Luna) said happily, as she enjoyed Hinata’s company.

“Really! Me too. I never had someone to hang out with.” (Hinata)

“Where do you want to go next. Maybe a-” (Luna)

Luna was about to say something, until someone interrupted them.

“Hey. Why don't I accompany you two for a while. And maybe we can go crazy tonight at my house” (Kiba)

Yup that's right, Kiba is trying to hit on both of the girls, at the exact same time.

BACK TO CHRIS

“ILL KILL HIM!!!” (Chris) shouted out the tip of his lungs.

“Why did you scream all of a sudden?” (Phoenix king) said a bit confused. Did chris damage his brain while trying to absorb natural energy.

“I- I dunno actually. It's just that I really hate dogs for some reason? I wonder why.” (Chris)

Chris just shrugged it off and continued his training.

His senses are extremely sharp.

BACK TO LUNA AND HINATA

“Kiba, I already told you that you and me will never work. I already have someone I like.” (Hinata) said a bit angered.

It's not the first time that Kiba has asked her out. At first it was kinda cute, but it just got to a point where it got creepy, and annoying.

“This time is different Hinata. This time I can have two beautiful girls on my arms. Come on now.” (Kiba)

Kiba by force tried to grab Luna’s and Hinata’s hand. But was met with a knee on the stomach.

The one who send Kiba far, was Luna. She was a very docile girl, but you mess with her, she will charge at you furiously.

(Kinda like what happened in chapter 35)

Luna hated one thing in this world, people who took advantage of others. And now that Luna was much more matured, she has learned a thing or two about these type of people from her brother.

With the help of Chris's training, she learned when and how to strike. And a girl needs to protect herself, as she can't always rely on Chris and her friends to protect her all the time.

“Ow, I will hurt you for that!” (Kiba) was just trying to hold her hand, is there any need to knee him in the stomach.

Kiba didn't have Akamaru here, because Akamaru is getting his constant check up at the vet.

Without his dog, Kiba’s abilities are limited. He truly thinks that Luna isn't that strong, and only managed to hit him because his guard was down. He didn't dare charge at Hinata. He saw her when Hinata defeated Neji like it was nothing.

As Kiba was about to charge at Luna, he was met with a blunt object on the head.

He didn't even see who or what hit him, and he passed out from sudden head force trauma.

The one who knocked him out was Ino and Sakura.

They both saw what had happened and couldn't take it anymore. They were both women, they couldn't take the crap that Kiba was doing to Hinata and Luna, so they stepped in and decided to teach Kiba a lesson about respecting women.

“I thought I told you to stand back, Ino pig.” (Sakura) said to her arch-nemesis.

“I thought I told you the same thing, billboard brow.” (Ino)

A hint of sparks could be seen between the two. Just their angry gazes are enough to generate sparks.

“Thanks… I guess?” (Luna) said.

“No problem. I just really can't stand perverts like him.” (Ino)

“And doesn't Kiba know better than to mess with someone like Sasuke’s brother.” (Sakura) said.

Although Luna and Hinata didn't need their help, they still had to show their gratitude for their help.

“If you like, would you like to hang out with us. We were just going to the candy store.” (Hinata)

Hinata took this scene to her advantage, to try and make a strong friendship happen between the 4 of them.

“Candy store! I'm in.” (Ino) said. Although she was one who likes to take care of her outer appearance, she just can't say no to chocolate.

“Great let's go.” (Luna)

Before Sakura and Ino had another fight, Luna dragged them by force to the candy store.

And there just laid Kiba. Everyone else walking beside him, ignored him. It's something that most people call karma.

Once the four girls entered the candy store, a strong scent of sweet, delicious candy attacked their nostrils.

“Buy whatever you girls want, it's on me.” (Hinata)

“No Hinata, it's on me.” (Luna) tried to be friendly and pay for their own treats.

“I invited you all over, so it's only right for me to pay.” (Hinata) also tried to be friendly to everyone else.

“Hm! Luna.” (Kat)

Kat went to greet her friend. Kat liked candy more than anything. And she would spend most of her time in this place, eating all sorts of candies.

“Kat! I didn't sense you were here. How have you been.” (Luna) said.

Both Kat and Luna were having such a good time, that they didn't even notice each other until now.

“Well I've been trying to keep my mind out of that. So I wanted to distract myself with all these delicious candies.” (Kat)

Kat was talking about trying to forget about Orochimaru. And since it could bring trouble to say his name in front of Hinata and the others, she only said it in different forms.

Luna understood what she meant. But she was just happy that Kat didn't go rogue, and tried to hunt Orochimaru all by herself.

“Hinata. Is it okay if Kat hangs out with us.” (Luna)

Kat is pretty much Luna's best friend. So she tried to get Kat to join her little group, with Hinata’s permission.

“Of course!” (Hinata) said with a smile. The more the merrier, is what she thought.

“But I don't want-” (Kat) was about to reject. Until she saw Luna’s sad puppy eyes.

“... oh alright fine.” (Kat) said angrily. But in her heart, she was happy that Luna invited her to the group.

“Yay!” (Luna) did a cute little cheer.

Then after that, the group of 5 went on an all out shopping spree. But it doesn't end there.
