It has been more than a whole day since I have started training with this new plant energy. And it's been a whole day that I have been away from home.

I really have to say thanks to the Phoenix king. He stood there to always stop me when I am about to die, whenever I accidentally let the natural energy go through my body. But now I can control it fully.

I should mention that the Phoenix king doesn't really care about me. He might respect me a bit, but he only helped throughout the whole process so I could fix the food problem.

If you are asking how I can fix such a problem with my plant energy, well I can produce an unlimited amount of seeds with it, and then Ta-Ta! Mission accomplished. I get to go home stronger than before, the birds will never face hunger again. Everyone will be happy by the end of the day.

And if you're wondering if I could make food with my power of creation, the answer is yes.

But I will never do it. Not because I don't want to, but because any type of food that I make, tastes nothing but air. And the worst part, is that it doesn't even satisfy your hunger.

Imagine eating steak but it only tastes like air, and doesn't fill up your hunger. That is terrible. What kind of evil person would do that…

“Seems like you have finally learned to control the plant energy.” (Phoenix king) said very impressed. If it weren't because of the huge risk of learning to control this natural energy, then he would have learned it a long time ago.

“Thanks. But I still don't know how to fully use it.” (Chris)

“Hm… try giving the dead grass, some life.” (Phoenix king)

“Uh. How do I do that?” (Chris)

“Just do it. The last one to use such an energy was a thousand years ago, no one other than you has achieved this power. So I am as clueless as you are. But I do remember that my father was able to do lots of things with it.” (Phoenix king)

“Like what!” (Chris)

“Even if I told you, I have no way to teach you. The scroll I gave you only tells you how to absorb the natural energy, it doesn't tell you any moves… do you know why that is?” (Phoenix king)

“No? Why.” (Chris)

“Because natural energy isn't a jutsu, it's your own unique style of power. So only you can teach yourself how to use such a power.” (Phoenix king)

For those who don't understand. The plant energy is not a jutsu, and it's not even a Kekkai Genkai. Only Chris can use this power in more ways than he could think of. The only limit is his imagination.

“Speaking of jutsus, how is it possible for a bird to use a jutsu without using hand signs at all.” (Chris)

When the first round started, I saw birds using Justus without any hand signs at all. So I need to learn how to do that. It could save me a lot of time in battles, and could surprise my enemy, I could teach them to the others when I get back home.

“I'll teach you that later. But now this is more important.” (Phoenix king)

“Right…” (Chris)

I then absorbed all the natural energy that I could. Then I let it go to the grass underneath me.

The next thing I knew, there was a bunch of flowers surrounding me. I then extended the range of the energy and even more flowers sprouted quickly.

“Yes!” (Phoenix king) was indeed happy that I could use the plant energy. Now they won't have to suffer starvation ever again.

But I am not here to grow plants, I am here to use this plant energy as my own strength. I can feel that it has even given my body a significant boost of strength, speed. And if I were to mix it with my other Justus, then the result would be even better. Maybe I can use the chidori, my master sword, and the plant energy at the same time, then maybe I really will be able to have the same powerful energy of lightning when Marco and I fought.

But I think that this is only the first step of this unique plant energy. I feel like It can do so much more than give my abilities a boost in power. And I have an idea on how to fully use this power.

I summoned a shadow clone next to me, then I made some thick vines to entangle my shadow clone. Then I proceeded to absorb the chakra in him.

And it worked. This means that if I entangle an enemy with my vines, then their chakra will be mine. Cool.

I could only absorb their chakra when I got close to them, but these little vines helped solve that problem.

I am sure that I can make some poisonous plants, but I don't know which type of plants they are. I have no knowledge of plantology whatsoever. I will hit the library after I finish this lesson.

I will keep my deal in this part, then I used all the energy inside me to grow seeds everywhere in the forest.

The whole forest seemed that it bloomed like a flower. Then in every corner of the forest, there was food everywhere.

Although I wasn't back in the land of birds, I could tell that they were all very excited that food just suddenly sprung out of nowhere. It felt like Christmas came early this year.

“Young human, let me show you something.” (Phoenix king)

I thought that he would have thanked me or something, but he just wanted to lead me somewhere.

I didn't ask what it is, and I just followed him.

He then flew sky high, and I followed him. I forgot to mention that I was extremely lucky that my sky walking ability did not fail me when I fought those Phoenixes. But with a little help with my plant energy, the sky walk ability is even better than before. Now my balance is better, and more efficient as well.

The Phoenix king flew at a fast speed, and I could barely stay behind him.

After 20 minutes of non-stop flying, we landed on the side of a very deep edge. I looked down, and all I could was clouds…

Okay, now I am confused. What the hell is this place.

“Do you know what this place is?” (Phoenix king)

He just straight up asked me a question.

“Land of birds. Right?!” (Chris)

“Well yes and no. You see human, do you know why this forest was dying, and why there is barely any insects in this place.” (Phoenix king)

“You mentioned that your father grew this whole forest, but you never mentioned anything else.” (Chris)

“I know. And do you not think that it's weird that my father grew this forest.” (Phoenix king)

I could not help but looked at him confused. What does he want to say to me.

“It seems you still don't understand. Climb on my back, I'll show you.” (Phoenix king)

Without hesitating, I climbed on his back. What? Don't you ever wanted to know old what is feels to ride a legendary creature. It's been my dream ever since I watched an anime called ‘saint seiya’

(Saint seiya is an old anime, that I have loved when I was a child. It was definitely one of the best back in it's time. And listen to it's theme song, cause there isn't an anime out there that has the same feeling as this song.)

Then the Phoenix king only seemed to smile in amusement. I just hopped on his back without showing any signs of hesitation. Normally his people would bow before him out of respect, but this human just shamelessly hopped on his back like it was nothing.

The Phoenix king didn't say anything, then he flew down the edge.

His speed is something that not even I can travel. Looks like he held back earlier for my sake.

My eyes grew accustomed to the harsh winds after some time. When I opened them, I saw something unbelievable.

I saw a mountain the size of a country, with wings? And I really wish I was kidding on the last part.

The huge mountain didn't touch the ground at all. It was literally flying through the air as if it were a bird.

The Phoenix king circled around the whole entire area, then flew back to the forest.

At first I thought that it was a huge bird carrying a huge mountain on its back, but no. I didn't see a face, feet, tail. All I saw was a pair of giant wings on a huge rock and that's it.

We both landed back on the ground. Looks like the Phoenix king knew what I was about to ask him, so he just went straight to the point.

“What you just saw, was a creature to have thought to have been extinct long ago. The ‘continental bird’” (Phoenix king)

“I have never heard of such a thing!” (Chris)

I feel that everyday, this world is starting to feel less and less like Naruto.

“Let me explain. The bird kind never started living from the ground, we have always lived above the clouds. And the continental birds, were the ones who carried us since before ancient times. That one that you just saw, was the last one.” (Phoenix king)

“So… is it alive, or something?” (Chris)

“I don't know. It was here even when my father was just a kid. All I know it's his name, and purpose.” (Phoenix king)

“So why did you show me that.” (Chris)

Is there a good reason that he showed me the huge continental bird.

“Just wanted to tell you that I fear that it will go down someday. You see, this wasn't the only continental bird alive, there were others as well.” (Phoenix king)

“Really! Then what happened to the others.” (Chris)

“I killed them.” (Phoenix king)

What kind of messed up bird is he?!

“I had to. The other continental birds had very powerful enemies as well, and if I didn't kill them first, then we would have been long dead.” (Phoenix king)

Should I say something? I think it's best not to.

“But I did not kill every single continental bird out there, the continental bird is like an organ, once it stops working, it stops flying then it will crash to the ground. I just need to know if I can rely on your help in the future.” (Phoenix king)

“Hmmm! Let me think about it, no!” (Chris)

If he can take down something that's 5 times the size of Konoha, then he could even accidentally destroy Konoha as if it were nothing.

“I'll owe you a favour in the future.” (Phoenix king)

It's only natural for someone to offer something in order to receive something. And in this case, he offers his services for protection of his own place.

“So I can ask for anything.” (Chris)

If I could get his help in the future, then it will definitely be worth the risk.

“Sure.” (Phoenix king)

“Well okay, you can rely on me in the future.” (Chris) I said firmly.

“Hmm… take this as well. As a thank you from my kingdom.” (Phoenix king)

At first I thought it was a Phoenix contract, but it was a simple scroll.

“You wanted to learn how we use Jutsus without using any hand signs, this scroll will teach you how to do that.” (Phoenix king)

Wow! How generous of him. Do you know how many people would kill for this scroll.

I grabbed it, and put it in my space inventory thingy. I would really like to back home now and rest for today.

Not only that, but I need to prepare for Hinabi’s birthday presents.

“Thank you for your help, Phoenix king. It was really helpful for me.” (Chris)

I cupped my hands together in front of me, then slightly bowed to the Phoenix king. I really do appreciate for what he has done for me.

“Go. Your family must be waiting for you….. OH CRAP! I FORGOT ABOUT MY KIDS!!!” (Phoenix king)

He literally just remembered that his five children are in a bad state from our battle.

I could have helped him, but I was already home sick.

He flew away faster than the speed of sound.

I will definitely come back to meet Al again. He is the reason why I was able to enter this place.

Then I just teleported to my room in the Hyuuga palace. I learned from my previous mistake, and set up more teleportation seals around the village.

I did the same thing with the town of birds. I left some seals there incase if I need their help in the future.

Luna sensed me return to my room, but she didn't come and greet me yet.

I was sweaty and dirty from sitting on the ground for too long. I took a five minute shower, then I changed to another set of Hyuuga clothes.

I am gonna rest today, as tomorrow is the day of the Chuunin exams.

I summoned a few shadows clones to buy presents for Hinabi. Since the shadow clones were a part of me, they knew what to buy for Hinabi. And so then they dispatched from my room and went shopping.

I then noticed that Luna was standing outside of my room. Was she waiting for me?

“Luna, how have you been.” (Chris)

Although it has been a day since our little fight, I have completely forgotten about it. So I wasn't angry at Luna at all.

“I… came to tell you something…” (Luna) said with a hint of sadness between her words. She didn't even want to look at me, she only faced the ground.

“Why do you sound like you're gonna say ‘you are the father’” (Chris)

(Lolz)

“I lost… your ring.” (Luna) completely ignored what I just said, and just told me what she thinks had happened to her ring.

I was momentarily confused. The ring is right here with me, and it was Sakura who technically brought the ring back to me, when she inserted it in her finger.

I was about to say something, but Luna beat it to me first.

“I am very sorry, I lost something important, and we will probably never see it again.” (Luna)

“But Luna-” (Chris) she then cut me off.

“So… to say I am sorry, I am willing to go three things for you. Whatever you want me to do, I'll do It..” (Luna) her face was once again tomato red.

I was once again shocked. Just where did she learn to say something like this.

It was actually Ino who told her this. Ino even told her that Chris might to something ‘intimate’ with her.

Luna understood what she meant, and agreed. It was her fault entirely for losing the ring. And now she must be ready to be responsible for losing it.

I took a minute to think about this, then a smile crept up on my face.

Since she thinks that the ring is lost, I'm gonna tease her a bit.

“Anything that I want!” (Chris) I said to make sure.

“...Anything. And I will not say no to any of your three requests.” (Luna)

Just saying these words, is harder than it seems. It took Luna all her courage to say something like this.

I then slowly leaned closer to Luna’s right ear, and whispered gently in her ear.

“...I, want you.” (Chris)

‘I knew it’ Luna thought to herself.

She was shaking so much, and was even tearing up a bit. She expected me to say it, but she truly didn't think that I would say it so direct.

I smiled a bit, and thought that it was enough teasing.

“I want you, to make me your sandwiches again.” (Chris)

I actually do miss those sandwiches that she made for me in our first date.

Luna at first didn't say anything, then she looked at me momentarily confused.

“What did you say?!” (Luna)

She sincerely thought that I would ask her to do something very ‘intimate’ with her. But making sandwiches isn't something that she expected.

“What were you expecting me to ask something dirty. Are you sure that it isn't you who wants it more badly than me.” (Chris)

I literally almost failed to hold in my laugher. If it wasn't because I put up such a strong act, then maybe I would be on the ground in laughter.

‘Does that mean that I am dirty minded.’ Luna thought to herself then humphed very loudly.

She kicked me then walked away. I didn't feel anything, then I said to her.

“What about my request.” (Chris)

“Go make your own sandwiches.” (Luna) said angrily. She was duped so hard by her boyfriend.

“Wait.” (Chris) I reached out for her small hand.

“What is it.” (Luna) wanted to break free, but then I said.

“This is my second request.” (Chris)

Then without saying anything, I reached for her pink lips, and gave her a kiss.

Luna was stunned. After what just had happened, she didn't expect me to kiss her.

Last time it was an accident. But this time, it's for real.

Luna’s mind was blank. She even forget where she lived.

I pulled away from our kiss, then smiled.

“Heh heh heh! I guess we're both dirty minded.” (Chris) I said jokingly.

Luna didn't respond. She looked down at the floor not because she was too ashamed, but because she was too embarrassed.

I let her go from my grasp, then said.

“Tomorrow I will tell you my third request. But for now, let us rest.” (Chris)

I then entered my room and left Luna alone to have some time to think about what had just happened. I wonder how long it will take her brain to come back to earth.

What a great day this has turned out to be. For me heh heh heh. Maybe next time I'll move on to second base.
