The person I saw is someone whom I expected to see. Sakura.

Sakura came chasing after us since the finish of the third round. She wanted to see us. Or more specifically, me.

Sakura was tired from fighting Ino, and she had yet to recover her energy from it. And now that she ran quite a distance, she couldn't help but catch her breath.

I knew what she wanted to say. She wanted to apologize to me and Luna for losing her ring. Nobody but me is aware that Luna's ring is safely resting inside my space inventory thingy.

“Luna, Kat. I need to talk to Sakura alone.” (Chris)

It's not that I don't need them here, it's just that I have always wanted to say that. And this was the perfect moment.

Luna and Kat turned to see each other. They both nodded their heads and went inside the restaurant. They trusted me completely, and they took this time to get themselves a table.

Sakura and I were both alone now.

“Is there something you need, Sakura?” (Chris)

I have always hated people like her. Always chasing after a man, and ignoring everybody else's feelings.

I think it's because she reminds me so much of Beca. Because Beca went through the trouble to get her ex-boyfriend back, but broke my heart.

I looked at Sakura with a serious expression.

“Yes. … I wanted to tell you something. It's about Luna's ring.” (Sakura)

After catching her breath, she spoke up.

“What about it?” (Chris) I feigned ignorance.

“Did she by any chance tell you, that she was the one who lost her ring.” (Sakura)

After getting to know Luna for a bit, her character is almost like Hinata's. And she knew that Luna will never blame others. Instead, Luna would rather take the blame all by herself.

“Yes, she did, why?” (Chris) i once again feigned ignorance.

“She didn't lose the ring, I did.” (Sakura) confessed.

She would have told me earlier, but she was afraid of me. She saw how I mercilessly pummelled Sasuke on our way to the land of waves.

And when Sasuke showed up with an orange jumpsuit, she knew that I had something to do with it. She was very afraid that I would do something to her.

But, Luna was gonna take the blame. And despite how scared Sakura was, she couldn't let Luna take the blame for her.

“Oh! Then why would she lie to me.” (Chris)

“Because she is a nice person, and she is not someone who would blame others.” (Sakura)

“Then tell me one thing, why didn't you say anything until now.” (Chris)

“This…” (Sakura) would never say that she was afraid of me. Because she was afraid that I would get the wrong signal, and get mad at her.

“Is it because you fear me.” (Chris) I exposed her without a thought.

Sakura didn't say anything and just looked at the ground out of fear. She was too scared to admit it, and she was too scared to lie to me.

“So how do you plan on paying me and Luna back for the ring. Not only that, but you made Luna go through some emotional damage. How exactly are you gonna pay her for this.” (Chris)

I felt something kept pulling my pants. Akamaru was trying to yank my pants off for no reason? Is this some sort of way to show his love for me? I dunno. I never understood dogs.

“I don't know. How much did the ring cost you.” (Sakura)

It's a part of my system, it can't be bought with money!

Relax bluescreen, she doesn't know of your existence.

“That ring isn't something that can be bought with money. It's literally a priceless object. How are you gonna pay me for something that can't even be bought with all the money in the world.” (Chris)

These rings are indeed priceless. Where else can you get them, aside from

having a system.

“I… I don't know.” (Sakura)

After thinking about it, it's true that Luna's ring is indeed priceless.

She remembered when Ino told her about what the ring did. It made her stronger. How can someone like Sakura even get her hands on such a thing.

She technically did last night, but lost it seconds later.

“Any ideas. And I won't accept any form of currency.” (Chris)

“Is there… anything you want?” (Sakura)

There isn't a lot she can do. Although her mom has some power in the leaf village, it's not that important for her to solve a problem like this.

“There is one thing you can do.” (Chris)

I said as I stretched my finger upwards.

“What is it?” (Sakura) had no clue what I was about to say.

“Change.” (Chris)

“Change?... What do you mean by that.” (Sakura)

‘Is he talking about quarters and stuff? But he just said that he won't accept any form of currency.’ Sakura thought.

“I meant I will only forgive you, if you change your ways from now on.” (Chris)

I knew that Sakura will become strong in the future, but I don't want none of her current personality to exist anymore. It's better if Sakura were to change her ways right now. Before it's too late, and she becomes like Beca.

“Change my ways? What do you mean.” (Sakura

In her opinion, she has always seen herself as nice, gentle, and beautiful.

(Ha!)

But that changed after some time. When konohamaru was about to get beaten up by Kankuro, she couldn't stop him.

After that day, she has learned the importance of power. She had everything but strength to protect her, and those beside her.

And after seeing Luna, Kat and Hinata. She has now realized that her looks are nothing compared to them. Maybe Ino's, but it's still nothing.

But what did Chris wanted her to change about herself?

“Let me tell you something, Sakura. Do you know why I am so mean to you.” (Chris)

Might as well expose her personality to herself right now.

“No.” (Sakura) shook her head.

In her mind, she hasn't done anything wrong to Chris. And all those times she went up against him, were to protect Sasuke. Other than that, she saw no reason for Chris to hate her at all.

“It's not because of what you have done to me, rather of who you will become is what really pisses me off about you.” (Chris)

“What are you saying?” (Sakura) was clueless about what I was saying.

“I haven't said this to anyone. But a few months ago, before I came to this village, I met someone that resembled you quite a bit. She was a friend of mine. But do you know what she did:” (Chris)

Sakura shook her head once again.

“She humiliated me, all because she was using me to get back to her ex-boyfriend.” (Chris)

“But I would never do that to you, or anyone else.” (Sakura) said. She hasn't even done those things. And this is the reason why he was so pissed at her.

“Really. Then how about all those times you humiliated Naruto, just so you could get Sasuke's attention. Or how about those times when Sasuke tried to hurt me, but you stood up for him, instead of doing the right thing.” (Chris)

Sakura might not be as bitchy as Beca is, but she's on the right path.

“I only did that to Naruto because he kept annoying me. I am sure he didn't mind. And I only protected Sasuke, because you went too far with him.” (Sakura)

Nothing but a bunch of excuses.

“Then tell me something. Why is Naruto not chasing after you like he did before. And why after all this time you protected Sasuke, he still sees you as nothing more than a nuisance.” (Chris)

“Because…” (Sakura) couldn't come up with anything.

She could come up an excuse for Sasuke, like he just lost his family, and his brother killed his whole clan. And that Sasuke is going through so much right now.

But she couldn't come up something for Naruto? Just what happened to him, that made him stop chasing her.

She should be happy about this. But she kinda misses him. It almost feels like her life became duller.

“I'll tell you why. Sasuke doesn't like women who care about their appearances more than there training. And although I do admit that there isn't anything wrong with taking care of one's appearances, there is a thing as too much.

Sasuke only looks for the strong, not the one who chases him the longest, or the one who takes care of one's appearance the most.” (Chris)

“...” (Sakura) of course she has thought of this. But she isn't that strong, and she knows it better than anybody. But what can she do about it.

She comes from an ordinary family. Not like the Senju clan, or the Uchiha clan, or the Hyuuga clan. So how can an ordinary girl like her become strong.

“And about Naruto. Naruto stopped chasing you because he found someone else. Someone who is kind to him, respects him, and doesn't get punched when he tries to start a conversation. Sound familiar, Sakura.” (Chris)

Sakura fell to her knees. So the reason because Naruto left her is because of someone else. She felt like tearing up a bit.

She has always humiliated Naruto, punched him, yelled at him, disrespected him, even if he was only willing to become friends with Sakura.

He was a nice guy, and yet he was hated by others. It's no wonder he quit chasing her. All this time, he wasn't looking for a girlfriend, he was looking for someone to accept him for who he was.

This has never crossed Sakura's mind before. If it had, then she would have been a lot nicer to Naruto.

Sakura couldn't hold her tears, and was crying and sobbing softly.

I broke her train of thought by saying.

“It's not too late Sakura. You can still make things right.” (Chris)

I think that's enough bullying for one day. Now to move onto the next part of my plan.

“*sniff* how.” (Sakura) said in a sad manner.

“I can help you, and possibly make you be part of something much greater.” (Chris)

“What do I need to do.” (Sakura)

“It's easier than you think. But I need something in return.” (Chris)

“What do you need?” (Sakura)

“I need you to sacrifice something important to you. This will show me that you are indeed devoted to changing your ways. Otherwise, you must never talk to me or Luna, or any of my friends ever again!" (Chris)

Believe it or not, but her attitude can be contagious. I know this because Beca’s friends have also acted like her. So I suspect that somehow this kind of attitude can affect others more than you might think.

And I don't want Luna, or any of the others to pick up her attitude.

Sakura hesitated when she heard me. Something important to her? But what could he be talking about.

She has a lot of things that are important. Like her ninja career, her family, status. What is it.

Then she noticed her long hair was getting in the way of her field of vision. Her hair…

Her hair is something that she considers very important to herself. She can maybe sacrifice her hair.

She gently closes her eyes, then picks up her hair in a pony tail position.

She takes out a Kunai from her pocket, and cuts most of her hair. This is the hardest thing that she has ever done.

Sakura looks at her hair that she cut off then lets it fly off with the wind.

I was kinda surprised at her actions. I thought it would have taken her longer to decide.

To a girl, her hair is something very important to her character. And yet, Sakura made a big sacrifice so quick.

I smiled a bit. I will indeed change Sakura for the better, and this is only the first step.

Sakura then stands up and looks at me.

“Is that enough.” (Sakura)

“More than enough. Welcome aboard, Sakura.” (Chris) I was actually happy for her.

Sakura kinda smiled, but was still sad. It's gonna take some time for her to get used to her new hair.

“Training will start the day after tomorrow. Be here early by the waterfall.” (Chris)

Today is break time. And we also have to get ready for Hanabi's birthday tomorrow. And I think this is the first time I look forward to someone else's birthday more than my own.

“Okay…” (Sakura) walks slowly to her home. She is gonna need at least the whole day to get used to these changes.

I look at Sakura's figure going away. I then turned to see Sakura's remaining hair on the ground.

Just that little action already improved my opinion of Sakura.

I promise I won't mistreat her from now on. But only if she doesn't want to follow me on the right path I had set her.

Akamaru all this time has been tearing up my pants. Now the whole right side of my pants is ripped apart.

“Stop it!” (Chris)

Akamaru then stopped and looked at me while wagging his tail. Did he just listen to my command.

“Um. Roll over?” (Chris)

Akamaru rolled over to the side in a very cute way.

This charm skill is even more potent that I thought. I need to be careful not to use it on my friends. Otherwise they will become mindless robots who follow my every command.

“Stay!” (Chris)

Then Akamaru stood firmly from that spot, not moving at all.

I entered the restaurant where Luna and Kat were waiting for me. Dogs aren't allowed inside the restaurant.

Before I forgot, I handed Akamaru some meat I kept on my inventory thingy. He must be hungry since he hasn't eaten all day.

Akamaru happily ate the meat I gave him.

Then the rest of the afternoon was great.

Luna and Kat didn't say anything about Sakura. So we had a nice quiet evening.

We went our separate ways, and went straight to our homes.

Kat went to her own apartment, which wasn't very far from the Hyuuga palace.

When me and Luna entered the Hyuuga palace, we saw a bunch of Hyuuga people running around and organizing a bunch of things for tomorrow.

Since Hanabi's birthday is tomorrow, they're getting ready for the big day.

A lot of people were gonna come to the party. Like all the important clans and people in the leaf village.

“Great you two made it in just in time. Follow me please.” (Yu) said.

Yu led us to another part of the Hyuuga palace we never visited before. And before we knew it, a bunch of Hyuuga people came to our side and took our measurements.

“What is this?” (Luna) said.

“They are measuring you for your clothes tomorrow. Lord Hiashi Said that since you have taught lady Hanabi to dance waltz perfectly, then you and lady Hanabi will start the dance tomorrow. So Hiashi has requested special clothes for you, lady Hanabi, lady Hina, miss Luna Uchiha, and lady Hinata.” (Yu)

“I can understand me, Luna and Hanabi, but why the rest as well?” (Chris)

“Lady Hina requested that herself.” (Yu)

“Why?” (Chris)

“Well, Lady Hina said that she would like to show to everybody that you're not what your reputation says.” (Yu)

Oh. So Hina was thinking about me. How nice of her.

Then after a full hour of taking our measurements, we finally got out of that room.

I don't know much about tailoring, but it doesn't take that long on just measurements.

Before we knew it, Yu led us to another room.

Hinata was there, and she was getting her hair done already?!

We also met with the same fate, and then several other Hyuuga people sat us down and were working on our hair, and makeup.

This is the most busiest party I have ever seen. Mostly because I have never been to a party other than my own, and my family's.

I can understand that Hiashi wants everything perfect for his daughter, but this is taking things too far.

After two hours of getting a makeover, we had finished.

I didn't get anything done on my face, other than a good cleansing, some padding, and that was it.

They took longer on my hair, and I looked even handsomer than before. And I didn't even think it was possible!

Luna looked even more beautiful with a hint of blush on her cheeks, red lipstick, her hair combed and straightened reaching all the way down to her back. Her eyelashes curved upwards. She look like a celebrity.

Hinata was the same. Her long blue shiny hair reaching down to her back, blush on her cheeks, black eyeliner, red lipstick, and a blue flower on her hair to match her hair colour.

“Wow! You two look beautiful!” (Chris)

I truly wished that this was shown in the anime. Then a bunch of people would have been drooling at this sight.

Both girls blushed at my compliment. It wasn't that often that others would call them beautiful.

“You don't look bad yourself.” (Hina) said to me.

I turned around and Hina was behind me.

Hina also had a makeover. She was very similar to Hinata, the only difference was the her flower was purple, and she wore very outstanding Hyuuga robes covering her entire body, besides her hands, face and feet.

“Hey Hina. Where's Hanabi.” (Chris) I wanted to see how she looks like.

*ring* *ring* *ring* yes police. I would like to report about a possible pedophile.

Yeah I'm just gonna ignore you.

“She's taking a bath, and is probably in bed right now.” (Hina)

“Wait, but isn't she dressed up. Why would she take a shower.” (Chris)

Why would she shower when she would have her makeup done by now. I thought that we would have to sleep with this makeup throughout the whole night.

“Oh! I just ordered my people to help you with the makeup and clothes, because I wanted to see how you three looked like before Hanabi’s birthday.” (Hina)

“So… we’re gonna have to get rid of this makeup, and do it again tomorrow.” (Chris)

“Well, basically.” (Hina)

I will never understand how rich people do things, so I didn't judge them. Mostly because they have been so nice to us, and I even found it interesting that I spend hours to get ready. I felt like a celebrity with all of the people doing my makeup and stuff.

Hinata and Luna were both from prestigious families, so they were more or less used to this kind of situations.

We left the room, we took a shower on separate rooms, and went to sleep.

It was already late, and I couldn't sleep through the whole night.

I was thinking how to train Luna, Kat and Sakura after Hanabi’s party. I don't know why, but even when I tried to sleep, I couldn't. I hate it when that happens.

Then it was already 8:00 am. Yu came to tell me that they were already getting ready for Hanabi’s birthday party.

I was so tired. I haven't slept in days. But I should be able to make it through the whole day without falling asleep.

I forgot to mention, I made Akamaru a small dog house near my old apartment. I have a shadow clone watching over him. He's gonna be okay.
