《Origin Point》Chapter 47

AN: As promised, second chapter for the day. Still have several hours to release the third one, but I do apologise if I cannot, for some reason, release the third one. If this occurs, then there will be a second chapter released tomorrow. This is a bit of a short chapter, so I guess it's a good thing multiple chapters are being released.
As always, folks, thank you for reading thus far. If there are any questions, comments, or concerns you might have, please let me know down below. Or, if their are any major concerns, questions, or comments you might have, and do not wish to let others see it, my PM box is open and waiting to receive them.

"What are your orders, My Lord God?" Asked a shadowed eyeball with a swarm of tentacles about its entire being. In the middle of the eye was a slit that ran horizontally, allowing the eye to part to reveal several rows of teeth. How it digested food was a mystery in and of itself, but such an inquiry would come at a later date, as we stared down upon the humans' armies. There were thousands of bodies and tents, whilst most were simply journeying further away from us. These humans were doing so because the dragon-men's "All Mother" commanded her people to attack, so that we may begin to slaughter those from behind.
It was an interesting plan, to be sure, but with war, and the like, every plan falls apart once implemented. Which is what is occurring before us, what with half of the armies staying at the camp, when others said most would be moved to stop their attacks. Well, no matter. "We begin," my voice rumbled, lifting one of my primary arms high above my being, and roared, "Attack!"
Those within the horde roared, screeched, and howled, as they charged the camp. Monsters great and small charged the humans' camp, who began to alarm all with their shouts and horns, as they leapt upon and flattened those wearing armour and clothing made of iron or cloth. All seemed to have been caught unawares, as thousands of monstrous creatures began their joyful slaughter. You may be wondering how we had not been detected thus far, and I shall tell you it was from a spell called "Cast of Shadows". This spell simply conceals a being's presence, but does not conceal their foot prints, scent, or noise they make.

So how could they be caught unawares? Well, the dragon-men who journeyed with us were a great help in making sure the humans in our way did not report back to their superiors. For this alone, I thanked them, much to the horror of Brutus.
Turning to the Lich, my head bobbed once, who then began to call upon his own magicks. ">," he intoned, as a pale green mist began to spread out before his person. From the mist was a host of ghostly skeletal creatures, who were made up of transparent bones and armour. Each carried with it a rusty sword and a decayed wooden shield, whilst other ghost-like apparitions slowly raised themselves above the mists. These were called Wight and Banshee, and each was terrible in their own right.
For you see, a Wight was a transparent creature hidden under a decaying cloak or robe. Their entire being was skeletal, and looked to be closed to death from starvation. Although they appeared weak and brittle, they were most assuredly not, as their long clawed hands, feet, and fang-like teeth would stand as testament to such things.
Banshees, on the other hand, was naught, but a floating ghost-woman who had died with a vengeful, yet broken heart. These women would use their voices to kill a living being. Although their voices are beautiful, to an extent, even I would not wish for one to sing near my person.
Brutus had exhausted nearly all of his energy to summon up this small army of undead, then ordered their march to slay the humans, before collapsing onto the ground. A small vial containing a blue substance landed near its right hand. He lifted up the vial, then shifted his head towards my person with confusion. "You drink it," my voice rumbled, as the first of many fearful voices reached our position. The Lich then drank from the vial, exclaiming his joy over regaining the energies lost to his spell.
"Come," one of my clawed hands motioned for him to follow, "There is a war to be fought, and I desire to see its end firsthand."
*****
"They're dragons," laughed a female human in tight fitting leather armour, as she plunged her daggers into the eye sockets of a one winged blue and gold scaled drake, "How much experience do you think we'll get after we complete this quest?"

"Less chatting, more killing, Delianna," called out a small boy-child who was busy swinging a sword twice his size, against a black and blue scaled dragon-man. The creature grunted, as it blocked the sword with an iron buckler, before swinging an axe down upon the head of the child. He rolled his small body between the creature's leg, tearing through the left calf as he passed. This caused it to cry out in pain, as it tried to stand from such a wound. However, its head was soon caved in by a now dented iron sword.
"Is there another weapon near you?" He asked, thoroughly disgusted by the now dented weapon in his small hands, "This one sucks."
"Grab the axe," shouted Delianna, who was busy rolling around a pair of alabaster scaled dragon-men, who were the now dead drake's riders. Both wielded a pair of lances, and continuously tried their best to impale the human female to no avail.
However, the pair fell over after a couple of yellow bolts of lightning fell onto their bodies. As they fell over, a male wearing a blood stained white robe was seen pushing up a pair of cracked glasses with displeasure. In his right hand was a manuscript with unknown letterings written inside, whilst his left carried a golden orb with streaks of lightning etched along its face. "Where are the others?" He asked, as he ducked from a stray arrow that seemed to shave off a bit of his pale blue hair, to which he sent a lightning bolt to the owner.
"Hey," pouted the female, "Those were my kills."
"You were in trouble, as is your brother," his voice was smooth, but held much contempt, as he gestured towards the boy-child fighting a losing battle between himself and four dark scaled dragon-men.
"Ugh," she exclaimed in disgust, and leapt into the fray, surprising the small group. They were easily dispatched by one such as her, much to the dismay of the child.
"Why did you interfere? I had them right where I wanted them," it was now the boy-child's turn to pout, as he struggled under the grip of the female.
"No you didn't, squirt," came a deep baritone, as a giant of a human appeared wearing an even bloodier full suit of armour. In his grip, and laid across his shoulders, was an overly large morning star. This great weapon would probably take several humans to carry, but this one seemed to carry it with ease.
"Markus," shouted the female in surprise, then composed herself and asked, "Where are the others?"
"Over there, somewhere," he shrugged, pointing in the direction the giant came from. Of which elicited a drawn out groan from the female. Shrugging his large shoulders, he moved his body to intercept a charging dragon-man who was swinging a very large axe about itself. The pair clashed, as sparks flew between their weapons, but ended when an arrow found its way into the back of the skull of the creature.
It squawked once, stumbling forward, then fell over just as Markus's great morning star smashed its way into the skull and brain of the creature. "That was my kill," he roared, charging the archer who simply stepped to the side, and waved at the small group. This one wore a similar tight fitting outfit as the human female, but had less curves to show off. However, it did have a cloth hood over its head, hiding much of its head and face beneath the shadows it cast.
"Zero," nodded the mage, as he fired off another bolt of lightning towards a small group of fleeing dragon-man. It was about this time, however, when monstrous roars floated over their heads, causing all to pause for a time in wonderment as to what it could mean.
Human bodies were flying through the air shortly thereafter, as a large creature with hide-like plates covering its body, and a large horn protruded from the end of its snout, was seen charging through the ranks of many unfortunate humans. They did their best in stopping the creature, but nothing seemed to work, as their bodies continued to fill the sky before falling to the earth below.
"What's that?" Called out the boy-child, who only heard the roar of something new, as he gripped his new found axe tighter.
"More experience, boys," shouted Delianna, who dashed off towards the new creature with excitement.
"Come along, people," muttered Markus, "Let's go make sure she doesn't kill herself again, else we'll never hear the end of it." The others shivered at the thought, whilst running after her form as it shrank in the distance.

A guy reincarnated as a sloth and is too lazy to be a protagonist
Hey, so do you also love a Story about people getting isekai’d into another world into a body of a monster that can evolve? Yea, sucks that most of them are either Harems (honestly, at first I was like "weird flex but okay", but now every fucking story that looks like it could go somewhere just throws the MC a new love interest every 3 chapters or so), or idiots that trust the first human they see to not kill them. Also, is it just me, or do most of them evolve into a human-ish Form way too fast? I mean what is the point of a monster MC if the guy is practically just an overpowered human? Well, after like about 3 years I am kinda running out of good stories, so I'm gonna try to make one myself. It's probably gonna be pretty bad to be honest, but it has no harem so it is already better than 3/4 of novels out there. And I haven't even started yet! But to be serious now: The story is about a pretty lazy guy who reincarnates as a sloth....I haven't really planned more for now... well, good luck to me I guess. Also I am not sure if I want this to have blue screens yet... I mean they look pretty neat but personally I'm kind of sick of them. PS: If you wondered, no I am not the person that took the photo of a sloth with sunglasses...god, that dude must be living the Life...
