"Markus," mumbled Arthur, as he tried to stand up and wobbled over to the dead body of his companion. However, I would not allow them to have their slight reunion. Instead, I simply reached down and plucked the hapless templar was trying to reach for the charred body that was Markus.
">," my voice rumbled, pointing a clawed finger at the now screaming body of the templar. "Give me your everything, human. I desire your knowledge; your experience; your abilities; and your spells." The human became limp soon after my words were spoken, and a silvered coloured orb began to flow out of its skull. This orb then launched itself towards my own, slowly pushing its way in, and unleashing the memories, spells, and abilities that was Markus.
"Where is Derrel?" Cried out Delianna, who seemed to have fallen into madness, "Where are Sean and Joseph? They should be here by now." The female's eyes were wide, as she slumped down onto her knees, and her mind was now lost to the chaos of losing her companions, "Don't you think Sean and Joseph make a cute couple, Markus?" She giggled maniacally, whilst a torrent of tears began to flow unceasingly down her cheeks, "Hey Arthur, when will your brother arrive? Doesn't he know we've been summoned to another world?"
"Oh no," Derek gaped in horror at his sister, then turned towards my person with anger in his eyes, just in time to see my breath cascading down upon the limp body that was Markus. His eyes grew wide in horror, as the flesh, muscle, sinew, and bones of the body began to stretch themselves down towards the ground, creating a puddle of flesh. "You... You...," he began, whilst his body shook, "You bastard," his small frame launched towards my person with a roar, "I'll kill you!"
"No," shouted Merlin, trying to prevent his attack, but to no avail, as the boy-child leapt high into the sky, more so than he should be able to with his small frame, and slashed down with his axe.
">," his small frame roared, as a red glow began to form around his weapon, but broke the moment it touched my golden shield. Which in turn, caused his own skill to falter and brake, whilst his body seemingly floated in front of my being.
Not missing an opportunity, one of my clawed hands balled itself into a fist, as my body turned to the side. It was then swung forward with enough momentum to catch the small body, and launch it back into the air. However, it seems I put a little too much strength into the punch, as three of his limbs were blown off his body, sending them in different directions.
As this was occurring, however, the female named Delianna witnessed such a turn of events, and screamed a blood curdling scream. "DEREK," she cried out, watching the small body of her brother soar through the air in various pieces. She tried to run to the body, screaming and crying out to him, but was held back by Merlin the mage.

"You KNOW he's fine, Delianna. This is just a-"
"That's my brother," she howled in his ear, and, unsheathing her daggers, plunged them into the backside of the mage. Of whom released her, falling to the ground with a gasp. The barrier about them had vanished, allowing her body to quickly scamper over to her brother's. Before she reached it, however, her own was pierced by half a dozen spears held by just as many dragon-men. Each sneered at the human female, as she fell to the ground, lifeless.
"No," Merlin cried out weakly, as I began to make my way towards his rapidly failing body.
"Little human," my voice softly rumbled, as my clawed hand gingerly lifted the mage's body towards my skull, "You have lost."
"No," he feebly struggled against my grip, "The others will surely-"
"They are dead," turning his body towards the Lich called Brutus, I allowed the mage to witness the spectacle of him and his slowly tearing away at the flesh of the three other "heroes". "You see, little human? You have lost, and I have won."
"Why," his body shook, as one of my clawed fingers pointed at the mage's head.
"Why, what?"
"Why are there Undead upon this world? It's a low level world with a simple plotline. So why are there undead?"
"Plotline, you say? Well, no matter. I will simply learn it all before you die." His own eyes widened at my statement, and began to scream upon my words of, ">."
*
An orb of silvered energy rose up from the limp body of the dying mage, to which I simply released from my grip, and subsequently ground into the dirt with my heel. Moments later, the orb entered my skull, unleashing another torrent of information. However, this was much more specific, as I desired to know what the mage meant by "plotline".
My body halted its movement, as I turned inward to watch the events unfold. However, the world inside the memories of others is not always crystal clear. Therefore, I was only able to see a white mist, and its formation of bodies crowding around an odd box-like object. I could name them all, but for now, i shall focus on the three not introduced to my person of that time. They were Derrel, Sean, and Joseph.
Sean and Joseph were twins, and always seemed to fight in concert with one another. The pair always seemed to wear loose fitting, and dark clothing over their bodies. It was to hide the fact that their race was not purely human, as they were a half breed of human and demon. No, they are not half dragon-men, but of the more common variety of demons. Which are human like in their stance, but with red skin, leathery wings, horns protruding from their skulls, and a serpent-like tail. A few religions have stemmed from this, marking them as destructive beings capable of luring others away from the "path of righteousness", as it were.
The pair's class, as it were, was that of Monk. This meant they were a hybrid class between cleric and martial artist. They were proficient in hand to hand combat scenarios, yes, but they were also able to heal others whilst utilising their own internal energies. However, Sean had chosen the path of Energy Worker, whilst the other chose a more direct path to martial arts.

Where they were from, they called it the Shaolin path. This path allows a person to have absolute control over their own bodies, giving them the ability to survive harsh situations through thought alone. These beings, even now, I would not wish to fight them, as they are far more dangerous than others let on.
An Energy Worker, on the other hand, utilises the world's energy to perform various tasks. Most of the time, they are used to heal others over great distances, but other times, they can inflict the greatest amount of pain to oneself from a simple touch to another's body. Although rare, there were a few Energy Workers who were able to inflict damage and pain on others over a great distance. However, what is truly dangerous about them is their ability to drain the energies of others simply by looking at them.
Anyways, Derrel, being the last of the group not introduced to my person, was an oddity in and of himself. This was another male, making them seven males and one female- I truly disliked where this was heading, but no matter. The human in question seemed to be wreathed in shadows, never allowing others even a glimpse of his true self. This was so because, from the human's own mouth, he was famous where he came from, and did not want others to see his face. However, he did explain to the others of what his own class was, which was that of Warlock.
This also happens to be a hybrid class, but of dark mage and thief. Their magicks is at a close range, and much of it utilises their sole weapon, which happens to be a dagger or long knife. Yes, there are others who've used a wand, but they are most assuredly more deadly with a blade, but I digress.
Mists of grey and white flowed around and in front of my person, forming seven individuals devoid of colour. These seven were the group of heroes who had been summoned, and were still clustering around a strange box. They began to chat incessantly, about which world they desired to journey to. A few desired a world that needed one of its gods saved, but was shot down almost immediately when they remembered the newest addition to their little group.
"Denied," Delianna crossed her arms in front of her person, forming a large 'X' shape, "Derek is still a noob, so we need something more basic. Otherwise, he'll end up dying the moment we are summoned." Nearly all groaned loudly, as they stared down at the boy-child, who glared at everyone present.
"What of this one?" Hissed Derrel, tapping a shadowed forefinger upon a spherical image within the box. Once the finger tapped it, the image seemed to leap upwards, revealing a large, blue planet teeming with life.
"Look again, Derrel," drawled the female, "It's a Class Three world. Those types are usually involved in some losing battle between a small country and some great empire. Besides, those ones usually take years to complete," he hand fell atop the boy-child's head, ruffling his hair slowly before it was swatted away. "I would rather we take him to a Class A wor-"
"You mean another tutorial," groaned the twins in unison. The boy-child was perplexed by this, and asked why they regarded them as a "Tutorial".
"You see, Derek," grumbled Markus, as Delianna brought up a different world, one that was flashing bright red, "Class A planets are usually what noobs, such as yourself, go to after completing their tutorial."
"It's pretty much the same tasks you completed in whatever tutorial you experienced," chimed in Merlin, who was now being glared at by giant human, "However, it's usually more drawn out, and can quickly evolve into a Class B, or even a C, if you're not careful."
"What's the difference?"
"Well, my young student," came a muffled reply from a helmeted Arthur, "Class A through C planets have a simple plot, which is usually a 'kill the Demon Lord/King' scenario. A's mean you complete some basic tasks, then are sent off to kill the Demon Lord by yourself, or with a couple others. A Class B means one or two armies are involved, whereas C's have multiple armies facing off against one enemy." A forefinger pointed towards the world Delianna had pulled up, which had a large C in the centre, but was bright red.
"The world your sister's pulled up is obviously a Class C, but do you see the red colouring about the letter?" Derek nodded at this, curious to know what it meant, "That means the world is desperate, and will take anyone, no questions asked. If you look close enough, you can barely make out a small plus sign around the inner curves of the C. This means there's another army involved, one that's hostile to the inhabitants of the world. However, it also means they're easy, and insignificant. So you shouldn't have any problems when it comes to killing off the enemies."
"Just have to make sure it doesn't evolve past a Class F world, else we're really screwed," muttered Derrel, who was then pushed forward by a slap to the back of the head from the female.
"No jinxing it, shadow man," her eyes became narrowed slits, as she stared down at the human for a time, before turning back to the rest of the group. "I've already called dibs on the world, so let's go!" Another groan soon followed her footsteps, as she vanished into the mists that made up the memories of the human mage called Merlin.

It also holds all the known Great portals in the Fabric which are the only way to travel to other worlds. This is the first story I have written of my own volition so even a small comment on how I could improve would be great. The current title is most definitely a working one. I know it isn't great.
