"Will you stop that?" My voice thundered across the heavens, causing the earth about my person to shake under it. My small group had been falling down upon their hands and knees, openly worshiping my self ever since my display of healing the female orc the night before. It was rather annoying, as one can only imagine, and though many find it pleasurable or amusing, I did not. This sort of worship was, for lack of a better word, degrading.
For instance, several wanted to bathe my skeletal frame, which, in and of itself, was a very bad idea. The idea was struck from their minds the moment a bit of cloth touched my bones, and began to disintegrate, but they weren't deterred. No, and if I still needed food and drink, I fear they all may try to feed me at once. For you see, though they proclaimed me a god, they now actively believed I was after my display of healing.
I could not understand it at the time, but the group followed the orcs' logic when it came to ascending to godhood. Meaning, one had to be immortal, be destructive in nature, have some sort of theme about their being- mine was Chaos, by the way-, and be able to heal others. It was an odd logic, to be sure, and from this, the female orc who desired a child did not wish to have ownership over one of my own.
"Nonsense," I rumbled down upon Simara, causing her body to quake under its force, "You desired a child, and this is what you'll receive." From this statement alone, I had to order her to stand, as she began reciting something akin to mantras in her native tongue. Another orc had to translate their meanings for me, to which I wasn't at all surprised to find out they were all, each and every one, used for the worship of their gods.
Speaking of gods, these orcs seemed to have a god for everything. When I say everything, I mean everything. They even had gods for the act of urinating, defecating, the removal of the placenta from a female's body after child birth AND eating it, as well as many others that will churn your stomach. Then there were those that were foolishly named gods. Such as the god of walking, kicking stones in frustration, and revenge copulation.
An imaginary headache was forming, by the time I called a stop to the explanation of their gods. It was rather ridiculous, and I desired not to hear any more of it, of which Brutus was in complete agreement. One god was enough for him, which was myself, and did not wish to spend his time in worship with others. Especially when it would mean less time spent with my person.

Once he said this, however, I was, as they say upon my first world, "weirded out". Which simply means you are greatly uncomfortable by the situation at hand, and I was. For he was projecting something akin to love for my entire being. Not that I mind, mind you, but his actions were becoming dangerously close to my being disgusted. Which became more apparent after I questioned those who wished to wash my bones, and found out the idea was first proposed by the Lich, himself.
In any case, the journey towards New Wair was "entertaining", in some ways, whereas others were annoyingly awkward. However, our little group had to stop once one of the monsters, a large, floating eyeball with a mass of tentacles surrounding its body, told us all there was a large army of about two hundred dwarves in between us and New Wair.
"Oh?" An imaginary eyebrow was raised as I listened to its report, and had a few others confirm it. Though, of course, upon their return they needed to be healed by my person, as each sported several arrows upon their backsides and rumps. A few of the dwarves had even climbed over the rise, chasing after the creatures of my group, only to find a mass of ghostly skeletons surrounding them.
Of course, they attacked the skeletons, but their weapons passed through their bodies harmlessly. I had Brutus kill all, but one among their number, as I desired its knowledge to better understand the situation at hand. He did so, but the one he singled out seemed to know it wasn't going to be harmed, and ran about defending its comrades to the best of its tiny abilities. Of which, resulted in the dwarf appearing before me in a bloody mess, and barely alive.
No, I did not heal the tiny creature, but instead, simply lifted its body towards my skull and stole a few of its memories, whilst the rest of its body began to melt from the acidic nature of my poison. Upon accepting the silvered orb into my mind, the grey and white mists began to form about my mind, revealing to me what I desired most out of the creature. However, all is not what I had imagined, and became greatly disappointed upon the scene.

"Ye positive Feiran died from ye father, lad? Not from uh explosion from 'is lab?" Asked one of several dozen dwarves near a farmhouse I did not recognise. Each was wearing what looked to be mailed or full plate armour beneath standard tunics and trousers.
"Yes," the reply came from Nox, whose body was cloaked in a long cape-like outfit. "One of my spies has reported saying he will return within a few turns of the sun from the war front. They also say he has made peace with the demons, and gave up most of his army to them so that they may 'wipe out' the rest of the human 'infestation' that plagues the land."

"What?!" Many, if not all, of the voices of the dwarves roared in unison at this revelation. For the demons were a threat to all races, but it was left to the humans due to them desiring all the glory, and their fast reproductive cycles gave them more numbers.
"There are even a few of the demons within the castle proper, and have already been befriended by the queen and her helpers," he sneered as he spoke the word "helpers", of whom could only be RS and LD. However, he spoke of something else at that moment and posed a question to the dwarves at hand, "Do you know of the Shadow's Reapers?"
Several dwarves shivered at the name, even going as far as to make several hand gestures to ward off the evil of it. "Aye lad," came another's reply, "that we do."
"My father has resurrected the race through his foul mag-"
"Boy, now yer treading on hot coals. How could yer pappy resurrect the accursed race, when no one upon Terra knows of how to resurrect anyone?"
Something else entered the mists, and stood by Nox with a wooden box in its paws. It seems, to my mind at least, that his dear friend the bear beastman was also in on this scheme. Of whom opened the box, and dumped out the severed head of the alpha of the Shadow's Reaper's pack.
All of the dwarves' eyes stared wide upon the head, whose eyes had been torn out of its socket, as black ichor stained the ground about it. "That's a Shadow's Reaper's head," whispered another dwarf, "Me poppa ahways described them to me."
"Boy, what's in the other box near the beast?" Yet another demanded, pointing towards a large wooden crate behind the bear beastman. "Are they liken that head there?"
"Some are, while the others are the severed heads of the twisted horse beastman tribe he experimented upon."
"What?!" A few shouted at this, rushing towards the box whilst shoving the pair out of the way. Once the lid of the crate was forcibly removed, all stared at the severed heads of over a dozen Shadow's Reapers, as well as the heads and horns of the nightmarish horse beastman tribe.
"Ye gods of me poppa, what mad fiend is yer poppa, boy?"
"One of the worst," his reply was soft, and had to repeat it on a much greater volume. Tears flowed down from his eyes, as he related a tale of woe of how I had killed the male "hero" with my own clawed hands, and subjected the females to a life of enslaved sexual servitude for the rest of their days. "We found them eventually," there was disgust within his voice as he spoke to a hushed crowd of dwarves, "but they were too far gone, and had become pregnant from their constant abuse. I-I had to kill them, to end their suffering once and for all."
The beastman placed its paw upon the hybrid's shoulder, who continued with, "He's enslaved the castle. Not only that, but he's transformed the entire city of New Wair into his servants and slaves, by transforming their bodies into hideous creations of your worst night terrors. Not only that... He had my mother killed after my birth. Only because she did not choose to stay by his side, but the hero's."
"Lad, don't worry. We'll put him down like the monster he is. Right boys?" All around Nox and the beastman, were the bobbing heads of the dwarves, who were making plans, or running about the farm and disappearing from sight.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Nox?" Asked the beastman, worry etched about its muzzle and eyes.
"Yes," he replied, with as much venom dripping from his voice as he could manage to bear, "Father, no. That monster has to die, as there will be no peace upon the world so long as he is around.
*
The mists about my person slowly receded, returning me to the present. "I am disappointed in you, Nox," my voice rumbled softly, as my head turned towards the group who had prostrated themselves towards my still body. Whereas the Lich named Brutus simply watched it all with amusement flitting within the emerald coloured pinpoints that were his eyes.
"My Lord God?" His voice was full of questions, as his gaze came upon my own.
"Nox has betrayed me, Brutus," my own, hollowed and dejected by what I had witnessed, "I am very disappointed in him, but," a forefinger of my right primary claw was raised, "a rapid dog is still a rabid dog. Do you know what to do when you find one?" To this, I asked the entirety of the group.
However, it wasn't Brutus who had spoken up, but Simara, "Rabid dogs are to be killed, their bodies burned, and their ash spread out upon the wind."
"Correct," my voice was filled with mirth, as my own body slowly transformed itself into my kobold self.

The Spark
Michael Locke was a normal student, who went through his normal day in a normal fashion, until the day became... unnatural. Shot into the country of Aldemar and thrust into a new world alongside his many classmates, he agrees to work for the king in exchange for shelter and to learn magic. Fate however, is indifferent to his wishes, as he quickly realizes that he may be a hero, but his purpose in this world is quite opposite. Suddenly surrounded on every side, Michael must work to survive, and if anyone finds his secret... He's as good as dead. The Spark is meant to be a murder mystery style isekai, focused on the existence of basically an anti-hero, with every one of the large amount of heroes attempting to discover who the traitor is. This isn't made to be a lovey dovey easy going isekai with an OP mc, it's made to stir around an emotional story, with many dark tones. Still, the goal is to stay fairly light hearted as well, and the perspective will pass around to several characters throughout the story.
