《Origin Point》A3 Chapter 14

AN: It's up early due to insomnia, and my want of sleeping in today.
By the way, after running through my thoughts and ideas about this arc, it seems it's going to be much longer than the second one. For I've much to talk about, and will simply drag it out more so than necessary. Which is the norm if you've read up to this point.
One last bit, the artist named Christian Bentulan, who did all of the art thus far, is going to be working on it later today. So it'll be up for your viewing pleasure in the next couple of days.
So as always, thank you for reading thus far. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to voice them.

"Are you sure we're going the right way, Boss?" asked Robby, as we stopped for the night close to the edge of the forest.
We had been trekking along its edge and towards where the city lie. It was here that I desired to be, as opposed to whoever this "Prince" currently resided. No doubt he was being used by whomever was supplying his army, and would only become a puppet when placed upon the throne. For now, the one who currently resided upon it was perhaps the lesser of two evils, and was the closest, as I held the desire to corrupt one of their minds so that they followed my every whim.
Well, it's what I've been doing with each Human a ran across, save for those who've fallen under my enthrallments. For they are merely given the want to serve my person, whilst retaining their minds completely.
Before moving out, I had them strip the dead of anything of use. Though, of course, nearly all complained about such a venture, but I had to remind them it was their own minds which was set on coming to this world. Therefore, they had to partake in the more gruesome tasks, such as looting the dead.
Afterwards came a short wash of their hands, arms, and faces through a few orbs of water I had conjured up. Though, the twins did desire to wash their hair, but were denied due to Shadow commenting on how the bodies will attract beasts and monsters if we tarry for long. This caused them to seize up and desire to leave as soon as possible.
Now, as to the silvered spell circle which appeared last, this was for Shiro and his "Class Change". For he spoke of how he was given the ability to become the first Shaman of Azzarath, and that it came with a large variety of benefits. Such as being the first to have a Patron God who was not of Azzarath's Pantheon. Yes. I was his patron, but that was not mentioned. What was, however, was the fact that he had to become a different race in order to retain all of the spells and abilities allotted to his person. Of which he chose to be a Wolf-kin after witness my person's change during the "fight" with the half-Ogre.
In this, he gained a pair of silver-furred ears and a tail which poked its tip out from beneath his robe. There was also a featureless, wooden mask which he now wore, as well as a totemic club with the depictions of a wolf dancing around a burning forest. This was never far from his person, claimed it augmented his spells by five percent, and was Soul Bound to him. Which meant the item would always come back to his person no matter where he and it might be.

As for Robby and the promise I made to him? Well, suffice to say I fulfilled it, but he complained it was a "Curse" rather than anything else.
"What did you expect?" I asked him as he appeared crestfallen after attaining such a gift, "Becoming a Werewolf is a curse, as you are forced to become one every other sennight to every other moon turn. Whereupon you will keep that form during the following seven to thirty turns, then become a Human once more and repeat the process until your death. Not to mention attaining such a curse will grant you immortality once a full cycle has passed. In that you will never die until your heart and brain are removed from your body, then burnt to ash."
"Yeah, but...," he began slowly, but was interrupted by my up raised right hand.
"You reap what you sow, Robby. Just be sure to not allow a Priest or Cleric bless you until your transformation."
"Why?" His eyes widened at this revelation, which only grew as I continued.
"You will lose your ability to ever become one. Which means you will need to die and reincarnate in another body before you can become a Werewolf once more," my shoulders shrugged as I spoke, "At least, that's how it is amongst the worlds within Azzarath's Pantheon."
"What do you mean?"
"There are worlds outside of Azzarath's jurisdiction, Robby, surely you've heard the rumours floating around the Hub before you entered this one?"
Yes. There were rumours of such a thing occurring within the Hub of Azazel's world, as it was my own liberated worlds which were allowing such a thing to come to pass. For although they were never given control over such worlds, they fell upon my own shoulders to run. Which led to my person setting up a sort of gateway for those within the Hub to teleport into, run amok for a time, then appear back inside the original world with new items, spells, abilities, and the like. Of which was never seen before being transported into those which I control.
No. Such places were not kept secret from Azazel, for she was a part of it all, but kept such a thing secret from the other Gods and Goddesses. Of whom would whine and cry about not receiving any sort of benefits from such a venture.
Well, the little-girl-who-was-not-a-girl was not receiving anything beyond amusement. So why should the others be privy to such a viewing in which she was the only one who had access to it?
In any case, such conversations were kept at a minimum until we came to a halt that evening. For they did not have the unlimited stamina as I did, and grew tired far quicker as we did not have an enemy to run away from. Of which allowed all others to express their gratitude as they slumped to the ground, or against a tree trunk.
This then led to Robby's inquiry, as I had spoken of a desire to return to the city earlier that turn, and it was his desire to know if the direction we were heading in was correct. Of which led to Shadow speaking out, "Robby, didn't you see the smoke? We're heading in the right direction."

"Besides," growled Gonzo, who was not at all pleased with his swords. Of which had been liberated from a dead Human male whose head was crushed by the half-Ogre's fist, "Who's to say they'll want us, if we were supposed to go to the other side?"
"Oh, they will," my voice rumbled softly in the air between us, as the Halflings and Shiro ate a few small sandwiches, "For I shall make them desire it."
"By the way, Boss, what class do you have?" This query from Robby caused all others to cease their activities in order to listen to my words.
"Oh? Have I not already told you?" To which I chuckled lightly when each shook their heads, "I am an Enchanter."
"You mean you're one of those faux Blacksmiths on Azzarath?" sneered the Templar-to-be.
"No. I am so much more than they."
"Yeah, right." Upon these words, he did stand and begin to trek in the opposite direction.
"And where do you think you're going, little Human?" I called out towards his person, standing tall as my tail flicked with perceived irritation.
"You're not in charge of me, so I'm going back the way we came," grumbled the other as though he were, but a child pretending to be an adult. In which case, I vanished from my spot only to appear in front of his eyes. To this, he yelped loudly, as my eyes flashed with a baleful crimson, before alighting back towards a somber silvered hue.
"H-how di-did y-you-," the Human stammered, falling upon his rear as I reached and gripped his collar securely, then dragged him back towards the group who was quite fearful.
"I may be an Enchanter, dear little human," my voice shook the earth beneath each of their persons, to which the Halflings and Kin looked about in order to discern the source, "but my abilities and spells were gifted to me by one of a few beings I admire most." As I spoke, the Human called Gonzo was tossed against a nearby tree, where he gasped as the air in his lungs rushed out from the sudden pressure.
Whereupon he did struggle for a time to regain a proper air flow, whilst I continued with, "A regular Enchanter is only able to take hold of the metals and items, reshaping them into other forms." Of which I demonstrated by removing the Templar-to-be's chainmail whilst it was still being worn by his person. This was done so by using only my force of will, as all eyes popped as the metal flowed into a ball of chains in front of my body.
This was then contained further, as my hands stretched forth, splaying my fingers as I molded the collective object into a shape within my mind. "I am able to do as much, if not more so, than any other Enchanter. For I have travelled much before coming here, and my imaginations have soared along with my abilities.
"For example, many have been able to recreate the imaginings of others from a simple drawing or words. Such as a mixture between a Katar and a Lance," to which the others watched, as the chainmail liquefied and stretched until it was the length and size of a lance, but had the shape of a katar. "There are some who are able to make perfect replicas of people, and sell them to those who desire them for this or that reason."
The lance then shrank in on itself, becoming a sphere of liquid metal, which then slowly broke apart until there were six individual orbs. Of which then molded themselves into perfect replicas of the six who watched with saucer-like eyes as the replicas waved at their respective selves, before liquefying into the large sphere which they had come from.
"All of this I can do, but what I cannot do is enchant a final product. As to the why, it is to simply handicap my person in order for my abilities to not grow so powerful. Instead, I am simply able to pour my energies into ingots and ores, which must then be used by others to create something new. As well as to ply more enchantments onto the finished product, for my enchanted ingots and ores will grant any competent Enchanter the ability to enchant the finish product with more than what they would normally be able to.
"However, this sort of Enchanter class is also an Illusionist, and can call upon the chaotic energies of the world to create much destruction. This is the sort of class I hold," in so finishing my words, did the sphere of liquid metal stretch itself into the shape of chainmail. Of which was then tossed towards the one called Gonzo, who scrambled to clutch at the object as though it were his last lifeline.
"But boss," called out Robby, "What about you healing me and giving me that curse thing?"
"Hmm?" I hummed lightly, settling my person against a trunk of a large Oak, then glanced over at the other, "You remember the scrolls I handed over to Shiro?" He nodded towards my person, as did the Human whose name I spoke of, "Yes. Those spells are the most simplest of any class, and the healing spell I used upon your flesh could be learned by anyone.
"As to the Werewolf bit? Well, that curse has been with my person for nearly a full cycle. I was just glad I could pass it on to another."

Your Mundane Transmigration Into Another World
My second fiction here, it might be similar to the first, but I will focus on improving consistency as it was not very good. The idea is to make a completely ordinary isekai story, but make it right - no cliche, some originality etc. I do not yet know where it will go, but it will involve dungeons at some point, transmigraiton, demons, elves, humans, undead. I will strive for regular updates every friday, but my writing speed is that of a slime (not a native speaker), so I might not deliver every week. Feel free to write what you think, I welcome feedback. HIATUS - will continue after I am done with my other book, I am unable to write two at the same time.
