《The Tentacle of Fate》Chapter 7: Good Morning?
After several hours of intense mating, the rampaging Knight had long since fallen asleep, while the victim and mastermind behind Lucia’s sudden outburst was left sprawled on the floor covered in gallons of semen like fluid. She used the last of her strength to crawl over to a dry patch of grass before similarly collapsing.
They slept peacefully where they were in the forest dotted with corpses and filled with the stench of this semen like fluid which somehow managed to overpower the stench of blood that filled the air. And it was by some miracle that in the midst of all this no man, beast, or demon managed to find their way to them. No, perhaps it was no mere coincidence that this happened…
After sleeping for over eight hours, Dewl finally awoke. He had exhausted himself completely today transforming into armor, enhancing Lucia’s physical strength, reinforcing her sword, and having partaken in intense tentacle play so he decided to take some time and rest.
But as he began stretching his tentacles, and was about to tease Lucia a bit more suddenly he froze. Dewl turned around and stared at the crescent moon brightly shining in the pitch black starless.
Suddenly, he shot towards Lucia at breakneck speed instantly transforming into a lewd suit of armor. His tentacles shot out of the armor and began slapping Lucia awake, “Get up girl!”
Lucia woke up and looked at the tentacles smacking her in the face, and then as she slowly began to awake she began to remember yesterday's events. Lucia instantly grew red, and her eyes blazed with anger.
“You traitor!”
But then unexpectedly the witty reply she expected never occurred, instead, she felt her body suddenly stand upright and shoot towards the girl on the floor. Lucia picked the girl up and instantly began running towards the East at an incredible speed without saying a single word.
“Hey! Give me back my body!”
Lucia began to resist Dewl’s control slowing the two of them down and causing Lucia to trip every now and then. Dewl begrudgingly replied, “Fine, but keep running you damn girl!”
Dewl immediately relinquished control, and Lucia began running to the east as well. But as she ran to her surprised she noticed other than the tentacle that was deep in her womb that Dewl used to communicate with her, all the other tentacles were surprisingly keeping to themselves. It seemed as if all of Dewl’s strength was focused on allowing her to run.
Surprised at this matter, Lucia asked, “Dewl what’s going on?”
“It’s still night…”
Lucia turned her head up to the sky, and nodded, “Yeah so what?”
Dewl grew agitated, “Have some common sense woman! Do you know how long it’s been? If we take into account the time you spent in the cave, the time you spent in the forest, the time you spent mating, and the time you’ve spent sleeping it would total no less than sixteen hours!”
“Okay?”
“Don’t you get it? The sun should have come up long ago!”
“But isn’t this the way the Demon Continent normally is?”
Dewl grew even more agitated and began cursing, “No you imbecile! Do you know anything!? Of course, you don’t know anything. What did I expect from you Humans! Ignorant! Naive! You fools!”
“What?”
“It’s the near the eve of summer, the end of spring. Sure geographical position can affect the length of night and day, but do you think we’re in the extremities of north and south!”
Lucia scratched the back of her head, “But when we entered the Demon Continent it was always so dark”

Lucia recalled the Province of Lux the Crusader army entered in. There was fog and mist everywhere. And although there were moments where the sun shone brightly, and one could truly see the splendor of spring, compared to the Human Continent the Province of Lux looked incredibly bleak.
“Gah! That’s because all those bastards in the Province of Lux are nocturnal! They’re the Province of Eternal Night! They release a magical fog and mist constantly to allow their citizens to go out regardless of the time of day.”
“The Demon Continent is no different from the Human Continent or the Continent of Beastmen or anywhere in this godforsaken world!”
“Then what’s going on?”
Dewl paused, and his voice grew serious and stern, “There’s perhaps only one thing that could drastically affect the Demon Continents sky like this. And that is…”
Suddenly, the earth shook violently and a mountain in the distance was seemingly lifted into the air and thrown towards the forest causing tons of dirt and stone to fly through the air. The mountain that landed in the forest easily crushed hundreds of trees and left a massive crater in the earth.
Lucia gasped as she cast a barrier to defend herself from being knocked into the air by the shockwave.
“Walpurgis Night, the Supreme Technique created by the first Demon Emperor!”
Once more a mountain was seemingly lifted in the distance, but this time instead of being thrown several dots flew towards it and the mountain exploded as massive white waves easily cut through it slicing straight into the ground.
But as Lucia and Dewl stared at these brilliant waves, she instantly grew pale as several dozen smaller waves were slicing their way through the forest and were rapidly heading their way.
“God damn it!”
Dewl’s tentacles shot out and instantly covered Lucia’s entire body in tentacles. Lucia felt an immense burst of strength and used this to jump out of the waves path.
“It’s too late now, I should have noticed earlier that Walpurgis Night was cast! No wonder there were no beast in sight. They all ran away as soon as Walpurgis Night was cast! We need to hide, and pray none of those massive attacks make our way ove-”
Suddenly the hill beside the two of them exploded as a Human shaped figure collided into it at leaving several sonic booms behind it.
Lucia and Dewl froze and stared at the crater as a figure walked out. The man who walked out looked like a middle aged man with a head full of gray hair. Two broken black horns protruded out of the side of his head slightly above his ears pointing backwards. And all of his armor and clothes were mostly torn or ripped revealing his body full of wounds and lacerations as well as older scars.
In his hands was a terrifying black sword with an eye in the middle. This sword was soaked in black blood, and despite being chipped at several points, looked incredibly sharp.
And as Lucia stared at this old Demon her face grew completely pale, as if all the blood was flushed out of her face. She began to recall a scene that occurred not too long ago. The scene of a brilliant army marching in silver armor with banner high in the air.
They marched proudly lead by some of Humanity's greatest warriors, and Humanity’s Hero at the forefront. Then upon seeing an army of Demons filled with werewolves, goblins, Orcs, Ogres, Oni, Imps, Demons, lizardmen, dwarves, dark elves, witches, and a number of abominations they began to charge towards their enemy as their swords shone brightly in the sun.

But as their army approached the army of Demons merely stood still, and from the crowd of hideous monsters, a single Demon walked forward with a black sword in hand. He wore a simple light armor, but it looked exquisitely crafted and quite elegant contrary to the ugly twitching sword with an eye and veins in his hands.
This gray haired Demon with broken horns grinned, and casually swung his sword through the air, and something completely unexpected occurred. It was something Lucia would probably never forget in her life, or rather it was something already burned into her eyes and engraved into her heart.
The proud Knights bravely charging forwards to slay the heretics, the monsters were instantly decapitated. The entire Vanguard was annihilated in a single instant, and suddenly ten thousand corpses littered the battlefield.
And now this Demon, no this monster stood before her once more. Lucia dropped the girl in her hands and gripped her sword tightly. She charged forward screaming, “DIE!”
But before she realized it this familiar Demon had already appeared in front of her, one hand clasping her face and the other was slowly raised in over his own face grinning, ssshhhh
Suddenly, the three of them, or rather the four of them as Dewl used his tentacles to grab onto the girl she had dropped disappeared, reappearing in a cave somewhere. The gray haired Demon threw her onto the ground and said, “I never expected you’d be here, but I suppose that saves me a little time.”
Lucia turned towards this gray haired Demon and asked, “What do you want with me?”
The gray haired Demon grew wide eyed upon hearing her voice, and then Dewl immediately retracted his armor returning it to its much lewder form. Dewl turned towards the gray haired Demon, “What do you want Greed.”
Suddenly Greed broke out laughing, “You didn’t completely possess her? What a softie! Kahahahaha!”
Lucia turned her head towards Dewl, and then back to Greed, “Wait a minute you can hear him! I thought the only way he could communicate with someone is if he were to have intercourse with them. Don’t tell me you…”
Upon hearing this Greed began laughing hysterically, “Pffft, is that what he told you? What sort of bullshit excuse is that! Kahahaha”
Lucia turned towards Dewl and glared, “Dewl…”
“No, no I swear I need to be inside you to talk to you! I swear!”
“Then explain this…”
“Ah well...it’s complicated you see. He is...well, to put it simply-”
Greed butted in, “I’m the one who stole his voice.”
Lucia turned towards Greed, “Excuse me?’
“I’m the one who stole his voice, so it's perfectly natural that I can hear him.”
“...”
Dewl sighed, “Anyway Greed, what the hell is going on here? Why has Walpurgis Night been activated? No one should be able to use that, especially without the express authority of the Seven Deadly Sins. And it doesn’t exactly look like you’re the one who activated now does it.”
Greed laughed, “Yeah, it’s a bit complicated. Never expected that our trump card would be turned against us right?”
“That’s not the only thing, the activation method should have long since been lost after the second Demon Emperor's death. And even then it's a technique only the Demon Emperor's bloodline could use, and there’s no reason for the Demon Empire to get rid of you just yet.”
Greed laughed again, “Well I did say it was complicated, and besides it’s not like this Walpurgis Night is complete. I’m sure you saw it, but the stars are missing, and the moon isn’t full. Unless the bastard can somehow assemble two more Sins to fill the requirements he’ll never be able to complete Walpurgis Night.”
Dewl paused, “Greed just who are you fighting…”
“The next Demon Emperor I suppose. Anyway, where are ya headed?”
“The Province of Acedia.”
“Hmm, it’s best you don’t go there, soon enough Acedia will be reduced to nothing more than a battlefield.”
“What? What do you mean?”
Greed opened up a hole in space and pulled out a scroll, “Take this and head towards the Capital City.”
“Are you kidding me? Why would I head to such a dangerous place! I’m sure you’ve realized this but this girl is a crusader! I’m going to take her back to the Human Continent”
“Yeah, that would probably work too, but...at this point, you don’t have a choice.”
“!?”
Dewl immediately turned towards the scroll in Lucia’s hand, “NO! Lucia throw it awa-”
Suddenly, the scroll in Lucia’s hand shone brightly engulfing the Lucia, Dewl, and the girl in Dewl’s tentacle in light before they disappeared. Greed smiled bitterly as he saw the three of them disappear.
Then the roof above his head was suddenly lifted up, revealing a mountain under a pitch black sky. Greed turned around and stared at the woman in a pure white dress lifting the mountain above him with one hand, “As freakishly strong as always Wrath.”
Suddenly, Greed felt the floor under him shift and the cave suddenly grew teeth and rapidly closed to swallow him. Greed disappeared once more reappearing over the forest, staring down at the cave munching away at the mountain overhead.
Greed turned his head and looked at looked at a man in a black cloak standing atop a Dragon that dwarfed the mountain that Wrath was holding up, though of course, the mountain was far smaller than before as it was being chewed up by Gluttony down there.
“How nice of you to wait for me to finish my business.”
The Demon atop the dragon laughed, “It’s the least I can do for an old friend.”
“Old friends don’t go around turning the corpses of their friends into puppets to kill their living friends.”
The Demon caressed his chin, “I suppose so, so why don’t we stop playing around Greed. Give me the sword ”
“No”
“Give me the sword”
“No”
“Give me the sword, or I’ll kill you”
“You’re planning on killing me, either way, aren’t you?”
“What!?” The Demon started waving his hands, “Me? No way?”
“...”
“You could at the very least play along”
“I’ve been playing along with you for the past,” Greed turned around and asked a Demon who was reading a book under the shade of a tree, “How long has it been?”
“13 hours”
“For the past thirteen hours!”
“Well that’s not my fault, you could just sit still and die for me. All this running around is just a futile attempt at extending your life. You can’t change fate Greed, and I’m sure no one understands that fact more than you.”
Greed paused, “You’re right.”
“See now we’re getting somewhere. No just come here, give me your sword, and let me kill you. And we can all go home, except for you, and rest.”
Greed looked up to the pitch black sky, and said, “But just because you’re right, doesn’t mean you’re not wrong.”
“No that’s exactly what it means.”
“You might think all this running around is futile”
The Demon on the dragon turned to the woman who was holding up the mountain, “Is he ignoring me?”
“But just you wait and see.”
“He’s ignoring me isn’t he…”
“I may have lost this battle, but I’ll be damned if I lose this war!”
“You know what, killing you now.”
The Demon raised his hand and a black sword appeared in his hand, while the Dragon beneath him spewed a massive ball of fire towards greed. The Demon reading the book beneath the tree looked up, and several hundred chains shot out of the ground, while Wrath threw the mountain in her hand. As for gluttony, he transformed into a giant Hydra, and all eight of his giant heads shot towards Greed.
Greed grinned and tore open a hole in space pulling out a golden sword he held in his other hand. “Come!”
