《Mecha In Cultivation World》46- Waul The Hunter

The Assistant moved through the floor and entered a small corridor. Ambrose followed him silently. He somewhat guessed, where they were going. As they deal with dead animals, revealing them on the counter could cause a bad smell and sometimes the size of the body could be too large. Just like with Ambrose currently, his Rhinos were too big for him to reveal them on the counter.
"Sir, are you new to this city?" The assistant asked with a smile as he opened a back door that led to a huge ground. The place was large and soil covered the whole place. There was no grass or trees at the place. Only some small wooden cabins were open from three sides.
Ambrose saw few people haggling over the prices of their beasts with the other assistants. He looked at a big guy with Bald Head and big bead, he had a dead bear laid beside him. The Bear's head was crushed, as someone has hammered it with power.
There were a few more people there. He even spotted a girl who looked just to be fifteen years old, she hasn't taken out her beast yet, she was just chatting with the assistant. Ambrose didn't listen to what everyone was talking about, however, he guessed that they were all haggling.
After reaching an empty wooden cabin. The assistant looked at Ambrose. "What do you wanna sell sir?" He asked and pointed at the floor. Indicating Ambrose to empty his beast bag on the Floor.
Ambrose nodded and took out all three bodies from his beast bags. One of them was of alpha Rhino while the rest were powerful too. He picked the best Rhinos from the forest. He was hoping to get a good price for all these carcasses. He wanted to buy some good food for her mother and some souvenirs. Although he planed to bring her mother inside the wall, however, that could take some time.
The assistant looked at the dead Rhinos and smiled. Even the people around that were talking and haggling stopped for a second to take a side glance at the huge pile. As the bodies were very large the pile reached even larger than their heights. It was easily available on the whole ground.
"Sir, How much are you expecting?" The Assistant looked at the hole at the head of Big Rhino and could easily tell that it was done by an expert. To break an Alpha Rhino's horn was no small deal. And from the wound, it seemed like it has done with a pointed weapon, which is even more difficult to control.

And the other two rhino's had no injuries visible outside. This means that they were either punched to death or some unique martial arts technique was used. In both cases, the poor guy is more capable than he looks. The assistant thanked himself that he didn't treat Ambrose harshly based on his clothes.
"Just give me the market price." Ambrose doesn't actually know how much he should ask for Beast Bodies without any beast cores. So he just vaguely answered the Assistant.
The thin guy nodded. "How about five mid-quality spirit stones for the level five beasts and ten for the level six one?" He said inspecting the carcasses again with a side glance.
When Ambrose listened to the price, he became excited, that was a very good price. He didn't know that these Rhino beasts would be sold for so much. He wished that he had a better beast bag so he could have stored more bodies in it. However, he didn't show it on his face and nodded.
"Ok."
The assistant smiled and pulled out a small bag from his side pocket, Just from the looks of it Ambrose could tell that the bag was a space treasure. The thin guy moved his hand in the bag and somehow pulled out the exact amount of Spirit Stones. There were twenty shiny ones. "Thanks for doing business with us, sir. If you want to buy or sell anything related to beasts than please consider us." He then moved his hand and gave the stones to Ambrose.
Ambrose nodded at him and took the coins. He was very happy, internally. Placing the stones in his pocket he started moving towards the Exit. The thin guy quickly placed the carcasses in his beast bag and moved in front of him to escort him out. However, before they could open the small backdoor, the guy with big muscles came in front of them.
"Were you the one that killed the big guy?" He looked at Ambrose in the eyes, his body posture intimidating and there was even a small dagger hanging from his belt. Half of his face was already covered by his thick beard, and after he moved in front of Ambrose he placed a cloth hat on his bald head that looked more like a turban.

The Assistant on the side looked at the big guy and at first, was a little taken aback, however, remembering who he is, the assistant stepped back. He then looked at Ambrose and smiled awkwardly. "Sir, I will leave you two to talk privately." He bowed down and quickly moved out of the place.
Others around also noticed the big man stopping Ambrose, however, none of them seemed to care. They just stopped for a second and continued their haggling. And the bald guy's assistant left the place quickly too. He didn't even perform any formalities like bowing.
Ambrose took in a deep breath, "No, it was my friend who killed the big guy."
"Your friend? Can I talk to him?" The big guy was actually trying to meet Vita. Ambrose looked at him again and found out that he was not as fierce as he looks. It may be because of his big beard and physic that he gave an intimidating vibe.
"What is your name?" Ambrose doesn't even know this guy and he came here wanting to know all about him. The more he thought about the fact the more annoyed he got. How could some random guy ask him questions like this, as he owns him?
"People call me Waul the hunter, I just wanna know who broke the big guy's horns as I can offer your friend a great price if he joins my team," Waul answered it all. Remembering the wound on Rhino's head Waul could tell that it was killed by an arrow. And someone that can shot an arrow from such a hard Rhino horn must be a high calibre Bowmaster. If he can coax him in his team then they could hunt an even better game.
Ambrose nodded at Remembered Vita. He could tell by her clothing that she was very rich, and how she just gave up on Rhino cores after killing them like they don't matter to her. He was sure that she doesn't need money. "I don't think she will join you."
"She..." Waul crossed his arms in front of his chest and nodded. "What about the other two? Did she kill them as well?"
"No, I killed the rest." Ambrose was interested in money. Although currently, he was in no mood of joining this bald guy, however, he at least wanted to listen to him. Maybe he will need him in future.
"Nice." Waul nodded. "How about you? Do you wanna join?"
"Join what?" Ambrose doesn't know what he wants him to join. Although form his name 'Waul the Hunter,' he could guess that it must be related to hunting, however, he just wanted to make sure.
"My team. We are a group of mercenaries. We do all kind of stuff to earn some money. My team has a good reputation around the market."
"No, I don't want to join mercenaries right now. But maybe in future." He is already in a team that he has formed that just a day ago. He first wanted to get along with them. And he preferred to stay lone too. He was an introvert. And just coping with one team of freaks was enough for him right now.
"Hmm... I understand, however, if you ever need some extra cash, consider joining our squad. Just for a single mission would be enough for you to know how great my team is." The big guy said and took out a token out of his hand. It was like the token that Golden Falcon academy face them, however, there was no golden falcon insignia on the.
Ambrose understood what the bald guy meant and took his token out too. It is so that they could exchange their signals and in the city, they could contact each other. After doing so Ambrose nodded again and moved aside.
The bald guy didn't stop him again and he easily moved out of the shop, without anyone else stopping him again. After getting out he looked at the shop again. He would be coming to this place more than often. As killing beasts would be his primary source of income for right now.
