《Mecha In Cultivation World》47- Osoric

'I have got enough money to buy some good food for my mother. I hope she is ok at her new home.' Ambrose can't wait to return home and surprise her mother, with the stray head with them. He will surely get admission to the Academy. Tonight he was planning to celebrate.
The Jinx on his head meowed and pointed her paw at a store. It was like she could read his mind. After all, they were connected emotionally. It has happened with both of his pets. His Beetle and the Jinx. It was his natural talent maybe. Or it could be because his soul is from another world.
"You want to eat from that restaurant?" Ambrose asked pointing towards a tall three-story building. There was a butler in front of the building door, that was entertaining the guest inside. "It looks expensive."
"Meow..."
"I know that I have got money just now, but we shouldn't spend it on such luxury food. At least first take a look around, and see if it is affordable and good food around."
"Meow... Meow..."
"What? You want your High-grade spirit stone back? Ok... Ok... I am moving, just stop scratching my head." Ambrose had a depressed expression on his face as he slowly moved towards the hotel.
"I don't think, they will let us enter looking at my dress." Ambrose looked at all the people that were entering the place. All of them wore luxurious clothing and came form a carriage with the driver. He was not sure if they would let a country bumpkin like him enter. He was also anxious about attracting any attention to him. His inner introvert was telling him to stay away from the place.
However, the stupid cat on his head, just won't listen. She was demanding her Spirit stone back if he didn't go to the hotel. 'Looks like she could smell good food from such distance. A true glutton.'
Gathering his courage he stepped ahead and moved towards the front door. The Butler seemed to ignore him and focused on other customers. 'Thank God, they are ignoring me.' He smiled and stepped ahead. However, before he could enter the front door a staff moved in front of his chest.
It was a black staff with a golden snakehead on the top. The Golden snake also had red gem-like eyes. "Where are you going kid? This is not a place you can afford to eat at." A commanding voice resounded in his ears as he moved his head up and looked at the man.

He was wearing a fancy robe with a clean shaved face. His eyes were domineering and Ambrose could feel a heavy aura coming from the guy. He was powerful and from his attire, rich too. Ambrose looked up and saw that his cat was already asleep. Just a few seconds ago it was all excited about entering the restaurant.
'I can't get out of this situation without attracting too much attention.' Ambrose thought and with an awkward smile moved back. He didn't wanna cause a ruckus in a city where he was planning to get a house for his mother. Although he can offend this guy, however, he didn't want to cause any problems for Thalia.
"I am sorry," He said and turned around. He was frustrated with the cat on his head. She slept when the critical moment arrived, before that she was all excited about entering the place.
The man nodded, "You are a sensible boy, now go back and never come to this place. Lower class people like you should know your limits." The man said again this time with a tone of mockery. Everyone around him also looked at Ambrose and had disdain on their faces. How could a beggar dream of entering such a lavish place?
Ambrose took in a deep breath and looked at the man again, printing his image in his mind he turned around. 'One day I will teach you a lesson.' Although he currently doesn't have enough authority and power to teach that guy a lesson, one day he would come back and tell all these people.
"Lord Osoric, I am sorry for your displeasure. Let's ignore these peasants and go inside first." A lady butler came and escorted the man inside.
"Osoric," Ambrose repeated his name in his mind. And then moved ahead. And the cat on his head also woke up as soon as they were few meters away from the restaurant. "Oh... You woke up? Thanks for your help beck there by the way."
"Meow..."
"I am not stupid. You are the one that wanted to go in there in the first place. I even told you that it will be not good."
"Meow..."
"You are hungry?"
"Meow..."
"Can I ask, how many beast cores you devoured previously?"
"Meow... Meow..."
"That many! And you are still hungry?" Ambrose sighed at his shameless beast. How could someone have no remorse after putting him in such an embarrassing condition? And this cat seems unfazed, she even thinks that it was his fault to go to that restaurant in the first place.

Ambrose then walked slowly as he talked with The Jinx, turns out she was more shameless than he thought. She actually blames him for everything that happened at the luxury restaurant.
He then remembered the name of that man again. 'Osoric,' although he has come back from the place without making any big ruckus, however, he can't let that arrogant guy unpunished. If not for his mother, he would have already bought a mecha and fought with him.
"My time will come."
"Meow..."
"I am not stupid."
"Meow... Meow..."
"Ok, let's go buy some food."
He looked around for about five minutes and finally found another restaurant, it was not as luxurious as the previous one, however, it was still pretty good. This restaurant also had a butler on the front, escorting guest.
Ambrose quietly moved towards the place and this time without getting stopped by anyone, he moved into the dining hall. There was a reception at the left of the hall. There were many round tables all over the hall and many people were sitting and chatting on them, warm and fragrant food was served with wine and beer.
Many small chandeliers illuminated the whole place and gave it a warm atmosphere. One only had to sit on an empty table and a waiter would come with a menu. However, Ambrose guessed that he would be ignored most of the time and time was something he didn't want to waste.
Dinner time is only an hour, he has to reach his house before that.
"Welcome, sir. Do you need a table?" The lady on the desk said with a smile.
"I need you to pack some good food."
The girl nodded with a smile and pulled out a black wooden card from under the table. It was a menu of the place. Placing the wooden card on the table she pushed it towards Ambrose. "Sir, what do you want to be packed?"
Ambrose looked at the menu and sighed. Although it does not compare to earth's food standards, this was something impressive. His mother may not even have heard about many of the dishes.
"What is the best one?" After getting humiliated at the previous place, Ambrose was ready to spend some more coins to calm his mind.
The girl smiled. "Sir we have a special bento, for takeaways, it has all our specialities and it also comes with five different desserts. It will cost Five Mid Quality Spirit Stones."
At first, she was taken aback when the guy in poor dress asked for the best dishes. She thought he would ask for the cheapest one. However, then she remembered the rules of this market and told him about the best takeaway they have.
She knew that some rich freaks sometimes dress poor and test different shops. That was the reason why she didn't want to disrespect the guy in front of her. And told him their best takeaway.
From what she knows, not may people buy this takeaway as it cost Five Mid Quality Spirit stones. However, it also cleans one's body and increases spirit affinity, which is why it costs so much.
"Five mid-quality spirit stones?" Ambrose looked at her with his brow raised. That was too much money for some food.
The attendant lips moved up, as she smiled with sparkling white teeth. "Sir, this is our best takeaway food, not only it tastes great, but it also helps nourish the skin and body, it relieves your palette and stomach the same. And it's the greatest quality." She took in a small breath, pride was apparent on her face. "It can increase your spirit affinity for two hours." She raised two of her fingers.
Ambrose listened to her and turned silent. 'It increases spirit affinity.' After toady's events, he has found out that he needs to be more powerful, he can't always rely on his mecha.
His mothers smiling face also came in front of him, he wanted the best for her and as he has completed the test requirement, it's only right for him to celebrate.
He nodded, "Pack me three," he intended to share one with his mother and himself and other one is for his gluttonous pets.
He also brought one for Nelson's family, as Geis was almost like a father to him. And he would be proud when he will know that he has completed the requirements for the test.
