Death

Leila-"Oh.., honey you are home."

Ensz-"Yes sweetheart of course I am , you are almost giving birth , the most important times for you , where else I would be"

Leila-"Honey..."

Leila tears of joy flowing down her golden eyes.

Leila-"Oh no , it's times for breakfast , I wonder if Neo is still sleeping, Ensz honey please go wake him up"

Ensz-"............."

Leila-"What's wrong honey?"

Leila notice that Ensz was somewhat acting weird and stiff

Esnz-"It's just..that...um...Neo ,he ran away from home after telling me that you felt down the stairs"

Leila put her hand on her mouth and starts crying

Leila-"Why would *sniff* Neo run away?"

*Did I do something to my dear Neo?...* sniff *

Ensz-"I..I..don't know sweetheart he just never came back home, after putting you back on the bed I went looking for him and none of the villager saw him"

Leila tried to get up of her bed

Leila-"Then I will go look for Neo.. he is still a child he might still be close.."

Ensz-"No! You are almost giving birth , think about our baby and rest.."

Leila-"But Neo is our child too!"

Ensz-"Fine! You stay here I will go back to the tents and get the soldier to look for him , don't worry"

Leila-"Thank you honey... Then I will go back to sleep, you can cook right"

*Something doesn't seem right.. I have a bad feeling about this*

Says Leila with a unsure smile as she lay back down to bed

"Ah....what , where am I , Why is it dark , are my eyes close? "

Neo looks around helplessly as he can see absolutely nothing.

Suddenly a purple silhouette appeared and formed a circle

*It looks like the purple silhouette is spinning around the black sphere.. as if it was getting absorb into it.*

Opening his eyes , Neo thought it was a dream and now what matter most is to get out of this ravine.

He looks up , it was day times , he slept through the whole night but the darkness around him is still gone

Neo murmured to himself.

"Maybe I can create a stairway but that would take too much effort.. Oh! maybe I can poke holes all the way up so that I can climb the walls"

"What if I could somehow fly up there"

Neo concentrate then a fist size black sphere appeared on his right palm

"I wonder If I can touch it.."

while murmuring Neo proceed to move his left hand close to the sphere.. slowly.. slowly

As he touch the sphere with the tip of his index finger , as he felt something hard his index turned black

"Ahh! what!?"

His finger turn back normal and move completely normal.. He decide to touch grab the sphere again with his left hand , his whole hand turned black until his wrist level but he could sense something hard as he was holding the sphere

Neo looks back up , decide to levitate the sphere and now he holds the sphere with his right hand while his left hand is clinging onto his right hand for additional support.

Neo concentrated his point A to point B which was literally a perfect up angle toward the sky just abit up of the edge ravine level.

As Neo get slowly pull up by the sphere , you could see blood veins popping up from his forehead.

After finally reaching up the ravine the sphere and he sat on the ground and took a deam breath while looking around for a stick or something that can act as a cane to support his broken ankle.

After finding an old wood stick, Neo priority is to find nutrient , whatever he could eat even if its insect.

In a desperate search for food he sees a rabbit eating grass.

Neo standing behind a tree with his cane , points a finger and concentrated hard enough to create a small sphere, the size of a sunflower seed , he move it slowly to point B ,he didn't had the control to manipulate the speed , only to control point A to point B a single straight direction,

reaching on the top of the rabbit head , he moves the seed sized sphere down slowly.

On contact the sphere literally devoured the top of the rabbit skull and reaching it brain the rabbit died.

Neo , sitting down while holding the death rabbit knowing how to make fire but not having the energy to do so, he decides to eat it raw , it was disgusting , he vomit many times but he knew he had to eat or else he wouldn't have any strength to leave the forest.

After eating the rabbit , he was covered in blood , as if he was bleeding from all over his body , after learning his lesson that blood plus forest equal hungry animals he then went to look for a lake or any source of water.

Neo ,afraid of being found out by wild animals he decided to stick close to the ravine and follow along with it because he prefer breaking an ankle then being bitten to death since he doesn't have any confident to pull out his sphere in dire situations.

After half a day following the ravine it came to an end but instead of finding a river , he found himself on a dirt road that seem to be heading around the mountain and the other end seem to be going down hill.

At this point Neo didn't even think about going to his family , even with his new power , he know how sad his mom was when he was around and how mad his father was.

Neo decide to go around the mountain out of fear of Ensz , he followed the dirt road that will lead him to who knows where.

Being dehydrated for almost a whole 3 days , Neo felt that he was almost at his limit.

He felt ,his cane slid a few meters away from him , as he tries to stand up he notice his ankle doesn't hurt as much as before , but he wasn't sure that it was either him not feeling anything but thirst or that it was healed.

Neo walk toward the cane , dragging his left foot slowly because he was sure that it's impossible to heal a broken ankle in a couple of days.

He is infact knowledgeable because of all the books he have been reading and Neo has a special characteristic, Neo has what you would call a eidetic memory , he can remember anything he sees or hear once.

The sun has set , the stars has appear in the sky and aloud of noises , howls and sound could be heard in the forest.

Being surrounded by the forest while on the dirt road , Neo was basically exposed with nothing to hide with.

As he tries to hurry to get out of the road he heard a loud roar , as Neo panicked he trip on a tree vine and felt head first on a rock.

Unconscious , dehydrated and bleeding from the corner of his head he just there like a corpse.

Wild animals were fighting each other , while others were waiting to prey on the wounded ones ,loud cries and howl could be heard from the forest , it was insanity.

Neo being was still unconscious , even when he is surrounded by the madness of the forest.

He soon died from thirst, then everything around him became quiet , not even the sound of the wind could be heard.

*Consume .... Devour... Change ... Evolve ... Create.*

Suddenly a dark cloud rise out of Neo's body , head , feet, hands , Neo's whole body was covered in a black cloud.

The black cloud rises up slowly , leaving Neo on the floor as if it was his soul.

The black cloud stop when it was approximately above the forest trees, then it quickly spread out spike of smoke every direction , even toward Neo back.

It pierced Neo's back but not even a drop of blood was coming out, you could hear every animal in the vicinity cry out , trees falling ,soon after the forest was quiet again.

Neo finally woke up after a week , he had hard times opening his eyes, as he sit back up , he couldn't feel hungry or thirsty anymore.

Surprised , he look around him , but what he saw , gave him the chill down his spine, he couldn't utter out a single word, everything was black , he couldn't take his eyes off of the scene.
