《Forsaking Reality》Chapter 95: Powerful Gathering

In a dome shaped palace in the center of the Great Aka Tribe. Akata laid in a room unconscious. The battle he had been in was a hard one and the energy he had used up was a substantial amount. Tabet wasn’t there by him but had left due to his father and grandfather calling him.
The three of them were located in a different part of the palace and were discussing the events that had just transpired.
“Ahh! So you’re able to easily suppress that Alabasta kid now! Hahaha! Excellent excellent. Once you break through to the Beast Rank you will be a top figure amongst beasts. You should start making preparations to go out and adventure and gain some real experience. Our Great Aka Tribe is still growing but even in this bit of time we have been flourishing greatly.” Lord Tafei said beaming with happiness and his voice obviously containing pride.
“You said Akata was able to beat two of the Gifted Beasts of our tribe. Interesting. All of the Gifted Beasts are prodigies when it comes to cultivation, talent, and skill. To think that, while at the 7th Grade, he was able to contend with them.” Great Lord Taple spoke curiously. “When he awakes bring him to me.”
When he finished his sentence, a guard came into the room and respectfully said. “Golden Runic Lord, Scarlet Runic Lord, and Young Runic Lord.” He said these three names with utmost respect and caution. He waited until one of them nodded their head so that he could speak further. “The Three Holy Tribes wish to see Akata. They all want Akata to make an appearance before them and have requested that you let him go. These requests were given by the Heaven Beast Monarch, the Dragon Emperor, and the Star Sovereign.” The guard respectfully stated.
Great Lord Taple simply snorted. “They wish to see Akata? They probably wish to dissect him, especially Allica. It would be one thing if one of them asked for him but all three did at the same time. It would be hard to reject them all even if I am the leader of the Great Aka Tribe. Hmm… Tell them that I will hold an audience with them tomorrow and that Akata will be there. It will be at my palace and if they want to meet him they have to come here.” Great Lord Taple said as he waved his paw out to the guard.

“As you wish Golden Runic Lord.” Said the guard as he then turned to leave. The names Golden Runic Lord, Scarlet Runic Lord, and Young Runic Lord were the names given to the leaders of the Scarlet Runic Tribe. Golden Runic Lord was the name that held the most power in the island. It brought pressure to many individuals and gave others the sense of awe and nervousness. The room was completely silent as he exited the room. It wasn’t until he was out that they began to converse again.
“Are you sure about this father? Some of these people must have something planned to harm Akata. If all three of them wish to harm him, there will be little we can do against them all. Although he is only one figure, he did beat two of the Gifted Beasts and the other is apart of a tribe that hates mortals. This could be troublesome.” Scarlet Runic Lord Tafei asked with caution.
“There’s no need to worry. Akata will be under my protection for the duration of the gathering. If I feel that the situation becomes unsafe for him then I will immediately call the gathering off and hold the others off while I let Akata escape. Given his strength and our strength nobody will be able to touch him. Of course, if it does come to that, we won’t resort to slaughtering our people, just holding them back.” Golden Runic Lord Taple talked slowly and calmly. Every word he spoke was like a message from a transcendent figure.
However, in his mind there was extreme caution. He definitely didn’t want the worst possible situation to occur. He could only sigh inwardly.
Akata laid in a room by himself completely oblivious to what was being planned around him. His eyes suddenly twitched as he slowly opened his eyes. His nature sense was still muddled and he couldn’t sense his surroundings very well so he didn’t know exactly where he was right now. His body was slowly gaining its strength back but his mind was surprisingly clear at the moment.
‘Those battles taught me a lot about what I need to improve on. Even though I was able to win against that Gatorape and that Wyrm, when it comes to battle tactics they have me beat completely. And when it comes to that Starwolf… there’s no need to mention that he had me beat in everything. Whether it was cultivation base, insights, skills, battle prowess, fighting tactics, he completely outclassed me. Even if I had both of my arms I wouldn’t have been able to stand up against him any better than I had.” Akata silently mused to himself.

“So you’re finally awake, huh? Tsk. If it wasn’t for that Scarlet Tiger helping you out back there you definitely would’ve been seriously injured if not dead right now. Humph. Your luck is simply too strong.” Noluck said as he spoke to Akata. “If you are to survive long enough to help me revive myself then you will have to get much stronger than you are now. Most of the techniques I have at my disposal are too strong for you to use right now and some are outright incompatible for mortals.” At this thought Noluck became silent as if he were mulling over something.
“But you do have a plant cultivation base. And considering that you have such an advanced level of nature energy you just might be able to use some of my techniques. Let’s try it then.” Noluck still looked like a green mist in Akata’s dantion region but if he was clear you would be able to see the bright gleam in his eyes. He seemingly waved his hand and a green light shot out of the dantion region as it made its way to Akata’s head.
Akata suddenly felt a ton of information flood into his mind. “I’m going to give you a technique that uses your nature energy but as of this moment your skill in it is low. So I’m going to transmit some techniques to you that you can use to increase your level and skill in it.” Noluck stated blandly but expectantly.
“Increase my level of nature energy? What do you mean by that?” Akata sounded very confused and it was for good reason as he had no idea what Noluck was talking about.
“You don’t even know about levels?” Noluck asked with disbelief. It was as if this was unheard of before. “All techniques are divided into levels. These levels are called gods. So, if you just started to train in nature energy then you should be at the 1st level of naturegod. There’s the naturegod, swordgod, spacegod, mentalgod, etc. Considering how adept you are at nature energy you should at least be at the 1st level of naturegod.” Noluck said carefully. He wanted Akata to know exactly what his strength was.
“I’m not sure about the levels of other things but I am knowledgeable on naturegod levels considering I’m a plant cultivator. Plants have the most affinity toward nature with beasts being the second most capable in it. Since you pursue the skill of the scythe you should find some information regarding scythegod levels. Although I’m sure you’re more talented in naturegod.” Noluck didn’t mind putting his input in while talking to Akata.
Akata listened closely and nodded his head. “Then these techniques that you transmitted to me will help increase my level?”
“Not directly. These techniques will help you to gain more insight into nature and with more insights you will naturally increase your naturegod level. Most formidable people are at the 4th naturegod level. Once you reach the 2nd naturegod level then you can use nature to attack for you.” Noluck sounded enthusiastic when talking about this.
Akata nodded his head and then searched through his memories for the transmitted information. He immediately found the techniques and arts related to nature energy. One technique involved movement and Akata instantly became excited. He was in desperate need of a new movement skill as his Shadowfeet skill was a bit lacking. He then began to study it along with the others. That was how he passed his time. Soon a day passed by.
