“No,” Lintian answered. He still remembers the chilling fear that he felt that day. It was the greatest danger he has ever felt in his 8 years of life. He felt helpless in the face of absolute strength. Every cells in his body screamed to run but the mind and body were disconnected.

Furthermore he cannot use the Martial body skill dancing Moonlight without having martial realm qi. He is already using it to the absolute limit at the refinement realm. The soul penetrating fist is strong but one punch against his own level might be fine but to fight those higher than him he would be exhausted after one or two. Also even through he would be exhaust the skill is still not at his maximum potential. Without completely mastering these skills every time he faces extreme danger he always feels helpless. From the event in school to the Tail fox, his ability to resist was zero.

“Come on Lintian,” begs Yuki, “I just want to see that little fox again. He was so adorable. I felt a connection.”

“His father clearly said no,” reply Lintian.

“You really going to abandon my one and only connection to a companion?” Yuki asks.

“Kira already said no,” answered Lintian.

“Right because you really listens to what he says,” Yuki replied doubtfully.

“Yuki that six tail fox clearly said not to go back anymore.”

“He’s nice. I didn’t feel like he was going to kill us.”

“You wet your pants.”

“Hey I held in my pee all day already. You can’t blame me for peeing my pants when he surprised me.”

“Fine but I’m still not going,” Lintian said.

“Lintian i never took you to be such a scaredy cat,” Yuki insulted.

“…”

“Fine! I’ll go with or without you,” she shouted and stormed off.

Lintian sighed and sent a mental message to Kyuri. Kyuri can you watch Yuki for me? Also don’t let her know your watching.

Ok, Kyuri replied mentally.

Lintian sat down and began to cultivate. An hour passed and Kyuri has been mentally updating Lintian on Yuki’s whereabout. She was still in her room going back and forth about everything.

Another hour passed and Yuki finally began to move. She got her backpack and some food into the inter-spatial ring and began to leave through the back entrance into the forest. Lintian sighed and got up from the Zen Garden and followed her. He made sure to be a certain distant from her. While Kyuri follows her closer incase of demonic beasts.

After about an hour of traveling they finally arrived at their location. Lintian moves closer. He had a feeling that if the Tail Fox was home it would matter where he is. It will still be able to sense him.

Yuki moves to the front of the cave.

“Excuse me is anybody home,” she shouted into the cave.

A little tailless fox walks out of the cave and looks at Yuki. It had an excited expression on its face as it jumps around Yuki. Wheres the father Lintian thought.

“Hmph who needs Lintian anyway,” she lets out haughtily and Lintian rolled his eyes, “so whats your name cutie.”

The cute little fox lets out what seems like a half bark and half meow sound in reply to Yuki’s question. It sounded like a “barow” with an echo behind it.

Yuki afterwards brought out food for the little guy. It was roast duck, and roast pig that hasn’t been season yet. The chefs are going to have a field day today Lintian thought. She brought more and more food and eventually unseasoned food were everywhere. Lintian could feel that Kyuri’s mouth were watering and came out of hiding.

Yuki looks at Kyuri in surprise, “oh Kyuri its you. That scared me for a second. Here you want some.”

Traitor Lintian thought in his head.

The little fox began to tear apart the food and eat quite luxuriously. This went on for about half an hour before Lintian felt a terrifying presence.

The Tail Fox was back with what seems to be a tier two tiger carried behind by his tails.

“Human I told you yesterday not to come again,” his voice echoed, “the human hiding, you can come out.”

After hearing that Lintian quickly came out from hiding. Not daring to displease him.

“I am sorry that we intrude upon your territory. My sister really likes your son, and wants to be friends with him,” Lintian said respectfully.

“Impudence. Are you not scare that I would kill you on the spot for taking my kindness for weakness?”

Lintian mind was becoming frantic as he was thinking of how his Uncles calm down certain situations in the past.

“Oh wise and great King of the Piron forest, may I have your name? Mine is Wei Lintian and she is Tsukino Yuki and my companion Kyuri.” asks Lintian remembering that his uncle usually starts with flattering.

“Human you may call me Rashu(pronouciation Raw Shu) and stop for the flattery your not very good at it,” he advised, “Human take your sister and leave right now, while I am still being kind. We do not wish to be disturbed.”

“Mr. Rashu we are sorry to disturb you and will leave right,” Lintian said before he was interrupted.

“No I don’t want to leave! I still want to play with her right now,” she whined. Her? Lintian questioned. I thought it was male.

Lintian saw Rashu’s eyes gleam dangerously like a flash of anger that ran across it. Rashu looks from Lintian to Yuki and walks towards her. Kyuri leaps between them and growled.

Rashu waves his right paw and Kyuri was swept to the side. The movement was so fast that Kyuri didn't even have time to react before hitting the tree and was unconscious. Lintian quickly used the beast box to hide Kyuri. The beast box helps heal injuries faster.

Rashu kept walking closer to Yuki. After Lintian saw what happen he was paralyzed with fear. Argh Lintian’s mind shouted. Move! The distance of 30 feet was getting smaller and smaller between Yuki and Rashu.

COME ON MOVE! Lintian kept shouting at himself. COWER! MOVE! While he was screaming all this, deep down in his conscious he was thinking if you move you will just move into a useless death. Lintian saw Rashu closing the distance to 10 feet. Lintian moves his hand extremely fast and slaps himself. His face burned bright red. His body responded to the pain and his Emperor’s steps activate and he was between Yuki and Rashu.

“Mr. Rashu please stop she didn’t mean to offend you,” Lintian whimper with his hand still spread out blocking his path.

Rashu stops in his tracks and looks at Lintian. Lintian’s body and mind were extremely sensitive right now and he saw everything in advance. Rashu’s hand moves back.

Yuki also saw this and shouted out, “NOOO!”

A furry little beast moves in front of Lintian and began to growl in a low tone.

“Akumy what are you doing?” Rashu said. This was Rashu’s only daughter. With only being able to have 1 child every one thousand years you can imagine how precious she is to him.

Lintian looks at the little female fox in front, surprised by her action.

Akumy began to bark and meow.

From what Lintian could tell they began to communicate mentally.

“Human it seems Akumy has taken a liking to your sister in the short time. As much as I don’t want too I will allow you to visit and play with her but if you bring about any harm. I will personally kill you. If I find out that anyone finds out about our location I will kill you.”

“Yes Mr. Rashu” Lintian replied with a relief and slumps onto the ground. “Mr. Rashu I have a question. That cave that you stay in. Why am I able to cultivate so much faster in there than normal?”

“I placed a formation in it to increase the qi for my daughter to cultivate.”

So it is a girl thought Lintian confirming his own thoughts from earlier.

“Sorry if I may be rude but I heard before that you may not be from around here.”

“Yes we are not from around here,” and he stops there, “I will be in the cave. You want to cultivate in there don’t you?”

Lintian seeing that he has been seen through did not bother to hide it. “Thank you Mr. Rashu for your consideration. I would love too.”

Lintian saw that Rashu was a wise demonic and loyal to his words, Lintian believes he would definitely not try to eat or kill him in the cave. Hopefully he thought as he follows behind him. Lintian for next 7 to 8 hours cultivated without rest. Even though he cultivate that long his dantian didn’t even fill up 1/200th of the way and this is with a fifty percent increase to his cultivation speed. After that Lintian let out a sigh. He really needs to open his sixth meridian point if he wants to cultivate faster.
