Chapter 50-I Can Cook Too
At this time Lintian does not feel that this was an issue. Little does he know that the reason he doesn’t feel anything even through this was his first time kill was because the Asura cells in his body are suppressing emotions such as guilt.
“Hey you okay?” Lintian asks.
“Yes, I’m fine. Thank you for saving me,” Xintong said sincerely.
“No problem. Needed to exercise my body anyway. My name is Wei Lintian,” Lintian introduces himself.
“People call me Zheng Xintong. Can you help me gather together all their belongings?” Xintong asked helplessly. Lintian could not see Xintong’s expression behind the mask but he could tell that she was still upset about Lester’s death. Lintian could guess that this might be a deep trauma that will scar her for life.
“Sure. Give me a second.” Lintian went around and gather up all their belongings while Kyuri stood guard.
“Do you want me to burn his body or bury him?” Lintian asked a little insensitively.
“Someone will come to collect his body. We have a tracker in our watch. It will tell them if we are still dead or alive. You should get out of here. They don’t treat outsiders nicely especially when you killed three people.”
“I did save your life. Sadly I didn't wake up in time to save his.”
Lintian then began to suppress his cultivation. Then he notices something strange. His dantian divided into two. His mind dived into his body and looks around. There were two huge dantians and seven little balls of light floating around. Huh? What is this? Lintian thought and went back out and quickly suppressed his cultivation to the fifth of the refinement realm.
“Why are you suppressing your cultivation?” Xintong asks suspiciously.
“My cultivation speed is abnormal. I don’t want people to look at me strangely. Also the average person would be in the second or third stage right now and since I am here I might as well be in the fifth stage as not to create suspicion. Furthermore I can let you take credit for killing them. Since they will be less likely to suspect me if my cultivation is too low. Furthermore I need to get out of this forest as soon as I can and get back to my family or they be worry sick.”
Since Lintian did just save her, she found no reason to distrust him.
Ten minutes passed and two experts of the Master Realm arrived. One was an average looking brunette and the other one was a muscular man with a really weird mustache.

“Xingxing what happen here?” the woman asks gentle. It seems that these two girls have a close relationship. The woman and the man then took notice of Lintian and glares at him suspiciously.
“Martha you don’t have to worry about this kid. We saved him on the way here and he just woke up. As for what happen I will explain to you,” Xintong said. Xintong began to explain to Martha and the other guy whose name is George of what happen. There were some holes in the story but overall it was believable.
Rage could be seen in both of their eyes as they look at Jack’s body with disgust. They stuff Lester’s body into the bag gently. Then they stuff Jimmy, Jack, Arthur’s body in another bag ruthlessly.
“I will make sure that the family is notified of this. Also you can take their demonic cores for the trouble.”
“I did already and Lintian here need to get out of the forest can you help him?” Xintong asks.
“Yes. Lintian right? Follow us. Before I leave Xintong. Are you going to stay here alone until its over? Should I ask the elders to see if they would allow you to make a team of four?”
“No need, I’ll be fine in three days.”
“Normally I would never do this but this is outrages. Here is a soul recovery pill,” Martha said as she hugs Xintong and fed her a pill. Immediately her complexion began to get better.
“Madam Martha if I could I would like to stay with Xintong for the next couple of days until this ends. I think my family would rather have me protect a girl than run away,” Lintian said.
Martha looks at him in pity “with your level of cultivation you will be more of a hindrance than help.”
“Right now she is extremely weak even with the medicine you gave her. Since she save me before the least I can do is watch over her until she full recovered. My family specializes in speed so running away is my forte. In the event she meets danger will it be more helpful if I can help her by carrying her away or let her injured self try to run away?” Lintian reasoned.
Martha unwillingly could not see anything wrong with that reasoning. Furthermore she
suspect Lintian has something to do with this massacre. “Fine. George lets go.”
Xintong didn't say anything because she was secretly hoping Lintian would stay. Especially after seeing how strong he was.

Lintian looks at Xintong, “Looks like we will be with each other for quite a bit. So what do we do now?”
“Lets find a place to hide. Until my body stabilizes.”
“Sure,” Lintian said and pulls one her arms over his shoulders. “Can you still walk?”
“A little.”
“Get on my back then.” Lintian brought her around and got down on his knees. She hugs him and Lintian coil his arms around her leg. He felt a soft sensation but didn't think much of it. Lintian got up and began to look for a hideout. Lintian made sure that Kyuri and Akumy were following when he left to search.
“Hey Lintian,” Xintong started up, “are they both your companions?”
“Hmph? Yeah. The dragon is Kyuri and the fox is Akumy. I found her when I was in the forest. She just lost her father so I took her in.”
“Oh cool what species is it?”
“I don’t know,” Lintian lied, “do you have an extra beast box I can keep her in?”
“Yeah. I was carrying a couple incase I found someone I like,” Xintong said.
Lintian’s contract with Akumy was not a true companion contract therefore he could not call out Akumy mentally.
“Akumy” Lintian shouted out.
Akumy came running up to Lintian. Over the last couple of days Rashu has been talking with Akumy in her sleeps and she recovered mentally. Lintian used the box but it wasn’t working.
“Hey Xintong why isn’t working?” Lintian asked.
“I don’t know. If you made a companion contract with it. It should work.”
Lintian Akumy has not acknowledge you as her companion yet. So the box will not work Rashu’s voice echoed in head.
“Lintian I’m curious of one thing. How long have you been cultivating?” Xintong asks curiously.
“Mhmm. About three to four months I guess.”
“What?! Really!? And your already so strong? What kind of training do you do?” Xintong asks in surprise, “Are you a heavenly vein body too?”
“I guess you can say that,” Lintian laughs.
“Me too,” Xintong said excitedly believing that she met that was the same as her, “I opened 25 points so far what about you?” Lintian’s eyes shot up in admiration. Wow a real genius.
“Fift I mean thirty-five points in the first month,” Lintian lies thinking his own growth rate at 15 meridian is too fast.
“How? I have been at this for 9 months and only in the second of the Martial realm. How you open so many points so fast?”
“It's a family secret,” Lintian lied.
“Cheapskate,” muttered Xintong.
“Honestly through it mostly luck that I reach the first stage of the Martial realm so fast.”
“You're only first of the Martial realm?” Xintong asks in surprise, “I thought you were at the fifth stage already.”
“Yeah, it is just that I absorb a higher grade of qi than most people,” Lintian answers pulling stuff out of his ass, “also there was one time when I found a cave with qi that was in the heavens realm condensed in there.”
“Wow” Xintong said her eyes shimmering like fourteen-karat gold. Lintian’s family must be really rich, prestige, and strong Xintong thought to herself.
After about an hour of searching he found an empty cave with Kyuri’s help. Inside the cave Lintian sat Xintong down and went around to inspect the cave. For a cave out in the wilderness it was pretty clean. The walls were polished to be as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
“Lintian can you help me take out the demonic cores and count them?” Xintong asks.
“Yeah of course,” Lintian replied scrambling to get the demonic cores out from the inter spacial rings. He found a total of 187 tier ones and 21 tier two and one tier four. It sat on the floor sparkling like a disco ball.
“I counted a total of 187 tier one, 21 tier two and 1 tier four,” Lintian reported.
“So I have 1397 points so far,” muttered Xintong under her breath. “Oh, are you hungry? You haven’t eaten since you were in a coma.”
At the mention of food Lintian’s stomach rumbled. Lintian nods his head as his cheeks flusters red. Xintong began to pull roast chicken wings, roast beef, and other tasty food out of her interspacial ring and it made Lintian’s mouth water like a waterfall.
“Lets dig in,” Xintong said.
“Alright,” Lintian replies happily digging in. His stomach was as empty as a bottle of water in the middle of a dry desert. It didn’t even take Lintian five minute before everything Xintong took out disappeared into his stomach. Xintong was still working on her one chicken wing when Lintian finished it all. With her eyebrows raised she looks at Lintian in astonishment.
“Don’t worry Kyuri coming back with a demonic boar. I can cook too,” Lintian said as his mouth continues to water, thinking of all the food he can make with that boar.
