《Asura》Chapter 52-Berserk Mode

(So from the poll I made a decision. I decided to write up to the coma part and then continue the story from when he wakes up. The 3 and a half years will be written on quicker since it might take at least 150 chapters to cover hahaha. So you might have to bear with me for a bit =D. Also there will be some redundant parts but I decided to change the story a bit. To be honest it actually flows a lot better than I thought. Created more routes to use ^^ If you got any suggestions leave it below and thank you everyone that commented and voted. I am still new at this and every advice helps.)
All five of those tier two baboons jumps toward Lintian viciously. Lintian’s dragon eyes could see and vaguely sense the position of those five baboons. Once they reach within Lintian’s radius he operated the emperor’s steps and flew into the air. His hands flew out and grabs one of the tree branches and swings himself until he sat on top of the tree branch. In his interspacial rings he brought out two of the five Emperor’s knives in the set. Once he embeds qi into the knives it began to glow.
The five baboons landed right into Lintian’s afterimage position. The leader baboon seeing this happened reacts by launching himself toward Lintian.
Xintong’s water flies out extremely quickly and slows down the Boss baboons movements. Giving Lintian enough time to throw those two knives at the boss baboon. While he threw it Lintian also launches himself toward him like a bullet. His uncle’s Heaven’s qi knife appears onto his hand.
The Baboon leader seeing the two knives coming at him didn't even feel any danger. He casually swiped them away, but then he noticed Lintian’s heaven’s qi knife and his whole body felt like he wanted to hide under a rock. Since he was in midair already there was nothing he could do but brave it.
The five baboons on the ground watched as their leader and this little boy collided.
As Lintian got closer he knew he made a terrible mistake. He just noticed that all his body and movement skills require the contact of the ground. In the air he was basically a fish out of water. The good news was with Xintong’s water restriction skill on the Baboons body the baboons speed basically dropped to the point where it was slightly slower than Lintian’s.

The baboon filled his hand was demonic qi and a dangerous claw appeared. Lintian used the heaven’s qi knife to block it. Except it did more than that. It actually sliced through the baboon’s hand. Lintian barely felt any resistance. His mind sped through a hundred routes, but sadly before he could execute anything his body crashes into the Baboon. When they crash due to the Baboon’s momentum being greater than Lintian’s they were flying back to where Lintian jumped off from. Lintian’s body was only half the size of the baboon. The baboon was surprised and didn't know how to react at all. Lintian was laying at his chest.
Lintian then grabbed the baboon’s arm and used it to roll himself around. When Lintian managed to get to the baboon’s back he used the Emperor’s step to launch himself off of him. The other five on the ground watched all this and chased after Lintian. Lintian had tears rolling down his eyes and sweat rolling down his back due to the anxiety of being so close to that baboon and the smell. The Baboon reeked strongly of cow manure. Far away Lintian couldn't smell it but close. It was like someone had a pie with manure and just randomly smashes it onto his face. It is like this baboon condensed the smell just to be around it. That in itself is an attack Lintian thought.
Having no time to recover from that foul smell Lintian used the Emperor’s steps and directly sliced off one of the baboon’s head. Lintian continues to use the Emperor’s steps moving in and out of the other five baboons with incredible speed. In a matter of 15 breathes all the tier two baboons were killed. This event was like a ten year old child with some training in using a gun against a 6 foot adult that was physically fit. Even through Lintian was weaker than these tier two baboons in terms of cultivation but with superior weapon and speed it covers all that and some more.
The leader of the pack seeing the slaughter was instantly enraged. His eyes turn bloodshot. His body grew an inch or two bigger.
Lintian watch out this little baboon possesses the berserk bloodline warned Rashu. It's a weak berserk mode compared with a true berserker bloodline but even through it is weak this baboon’s strength, speed and defense will double. Your Heaven qi knife will still be able to handle him but your speed will be out matched. Even with the Emperor’s step you are at a disadvantage. Your Emperor’s steps have slight pauses when you initiate a complicated attack.

“XINTONG USE MORE WATER TO SLOW HIM DOWN!” Lintian yelled out anxiously.
Boom!
Lintian’s body instinctively used the Emperor’s steps to dodge. Next thing he heard was a loud crashing noise. Lintian’s arm had blood drooling down from a cut. It wasn’t deep but Lintian got the message.
Many thoughts ran through Lintian’s head. I should run. No, I can’t with his speed we will be caught. Have Kyuri help. No Kyuri is a whole tier below this demonic beast plus it just went into berserk mode.
Lintian listen carefully, Rashu’s deep voice echoes. Focus. Focus those eyes of yours. Channel double the qi into those dragon eyes of yours.
Lintian wanted to be surprised but doesn't have the time too and just listened. As more qi flows into his eyes time slowed down. The tier three baboon’s speed became slower and slower but Lintian could also feel his speed becoming slower too. He used the Emperor’s steps and moved out of the way again. This time he completely dodges it but then he saw that the baboon ricochet off of the tree and came whistling toward Lintian. Lintian tried to dodge again.
Use your knife as a shield on your right elbow region, Rashu’s voice commanded.
Lintian did not even think and just did it. As he used the Emperor’s step to dodge, Lintian also moves the heaven’s qi knife in his left hand to his right elbow region.
A zzz sound buzzed out. A claw was slashed off and due to the force it smashed into Lintian’s abdomen region. It wasn’t too deep through and Lintian’s rib cage bones blocked it.
Lintian saw that the baboon was dripping blood down from his right claw. It was missing half its claw.
Rashu saw that this baboon leader’s berserk mode was fading and it would only last 30 more seconds at most. He didn't tell Lintian since it would be better for Lintian to think that he is still in danger.
Lintian kept dodging around for thirty-seconds and even he noticed that the baboon lost it’s berserk mode. Furthermore Lintian noticed the baboon’s speed began to slow as time passed. Eventually it became so slow that Lintian just cut of his head.
This was due to the water controlled by Xintong to restrain the baboon’s movements. If not for that Lintian would have died the moment this baboon enter berserk mode. Due to not having a large amount of qi to use Xintong could only manipulate the water to make it difficult for her opponents to move.
Lintian walks over and collects the demonic crystal.
“Grab the demonic core with your right hand,” Rashu said, “and face it away from that girl.”
Lintian did as he was told. Then a hot streak of qi enters through the palm of his hand. Lintian could vaguely sense a sphere forming around his Dantian.
“I helped you absorbed the demonic qi inside the demonic core. Then I isolated it. You can cultivate it later.”
“Thank you,” Lintian sent telepathically.
Lintian then walks over to grab all his knives and puts it back into the interspacial ring. After that he digs out all the tier two demonic core from the other baboons. Rashu helped him absorb those too. The demonic qi sphere near his dantian grew bigger.
“Xintong its safe now to come now,” Lintian yells out happily.
Xintong looks at Lintian in a whole new light.
“Lintian that was awesome!” she yells out excitedly.
“Haha,” chuckles Lintian and then he tosses her the demonic cores, “oh here are the cores.”
“What really?!” Xintong said in excitement. “Wait why are all the demonic qi gone?”
“I took it all. My master just wants the qi inside the core. As for the core itself it is useless to him so you can have it,” Lintian lied. After learning how to lie from Harris it became incredibly easy to lie especially to a little kid.
“Oh, ok.” Xintong didn't feel a sense distrust toward Lintian so naturally she believed him. “Oh I got a question. I forgot to ask you before. What family are you from?”
“I’m from the Tsukino family. My father is Chinese and my mother is Japanese. What about you?”
“Oh me? I’m from the Zheng family. Thats weird I have never heard of the Tsukino family before? I’m surprise I have never heard of you either.”
“Oh they are a second rate family so I doubt someone like you have heard of them but they are nice people and my mom and dad are kind to everyone,” Lintian said lightly.
“Why are you saying it like you're not part of the family?” Xintong asks in surprise.
