Book 2 Chapter 15:Three Moves Part 1
Micheal’s flash a devilish smile at Lintian’s question.
“Why of course I would give you some pointers. I am not so petty as to hold grudges,” Micheal said gently without a hint of anger or disdain which actually made it more dangerous. It is like those times when you do something so horribly detestable and your mom finds out and she is so angry that on the outside she looks completely calm. Except you have this gut feeling that she is about to murder you tonight. In his mind he was thinking I will cripple you right here and now. With a hundred other swears, and curses.
Everyone here was simply in shock right now. Lintian basically just cornered himself. Even if it is a spar with the atrocious way he was acting before there is no way this Micheal will let him get away without paying a price. In a fight Michael definitely has a huge advantage with the cultivation of the 7th stage of the Master realm while Lintian was in the tenth stage of the martial realm. This is a whole stage apart. Its like a child against a full grown adult. Even if Michael gave Lintian a year Lintian would not be able to close this gap was what they were thinking. Furthermore the Valiant family is not a small clan but one of the top ten in the East coast even through they just moved here a couple years ago. They definitely have some sort of strong martial skills. Everyone in their heart had already decide Michael to be the winner on this competition. Most of them were just here for a good show and shows no favors except it is pretty hard not to be bias right now.
“Three moves. I’ll let you attack me however you want with three moves. If you can’t beat me in three moves you might as well admit defeat in front of me right now.” Lintian said out loud for everyone too hear.
“Why, you are simply too generous, one move is more than enough.”
Lintian rolls his eyes, “if one move is more than enough than you are stupider than you look! If I dare make a scene right here, you think your one move will hit if I didn't let you? What if I was shameless and dodge your move, instead of taking it head on? Think before you speak please! Look your Daddy is even burying his head behind the wall of the balcony in embarrassment of your performance tonight!”
Nobody in here felt that Micheal was being arrogant or stupid at all. This is because there is a whole realm of difference between the two. Its like a lake verses an ocean.

“If you insist than I will take the three moves. Everyone can you clear some space for us? Lintian and I will be sparring a little.”
In but 20 seconds there was a huge arena in this ball room because a lot of people here wanted to see Lintian beaten to a pulp.
Lintian brought out a pair of gloves out of his interspacial ring and puts it on. This was the gloves Joe made to absorb qi.
Katrina on the other hand was already making preparations to leave.
A lot of the people were simply astonished at the fact that a mere teenage took control of this party even through he is simply going to die here.
Lintian walks over to the circle they made. Michael did the same.
“Whenever your ready,” Lintian said.
“Alright do you want a weapon?” Micheal asks.
“No, I’m fine with my hands against you,” Lintian replied relaxedly.
“Find then. Eat my first attack,” Micheal grins evenly. He didn’t want to kill Lintian right off the bat so he only used thirty percent of his full power. Micheal disappears like the wind from the place he was standing.
Everyone in their mind were silently praising Micheal for his high grasps of an instant movement technique.
Lintian tensed up a bit. There was a whole realm of difference so he still has to be careful. Lintian’s dragon eyes caught Micheal’s instant movement technique.
Behind!
Micheal throws out a speed punch aiming for Lintian’s spine.
Tsk! This idiot piss off the wrong person, some were thinking.
Katrina’s brow knitted together since from her perspective this simple punch from stage seven master realm cultivation is enough to leave an injury to a stage five expert never mind a martial realm expert.
When people saw that Micheal’s punch went through Lintian like tofu everyone twitched thinking blood would splatter everywhere. Except the exact opposite happen.
Micheal stood there with his fist out dazed. That punch just now didn’t feel even an ounce of resistance.
“Hey idiot are you going to get on with your second move or not?” Lintian asks. In his mind he felt pretty lucky to have escape it. If it wasn’t for the fact that he broke through the bottle neck of the stage two of the God’s Art technique Lintian felt like he would have been injure. This was because Lintian activated the fazing technique the moment he stepped into the arena. Even when he could see Micheal’s movement his body wasn’t able to react in time and when he used the Emperor’s steps to escape Micheal’s speed punch already came in contact with Lintian’s spine. Lintian also notices that Micheal’s speed was double his. That kind of surprises even him because he cultivated in the lightning style God’s Art which focuses a lot on speed. “You cultivate in the light element?”

“So you’re not a complete idiot after all,” Micheal laughs regaining his composure.
“Hey aren’t you happy I gave you three moves instead of one now?” Lintian taunts.
Micheal’s face darkens and anyone with eyes can see his ulterior intentions loud and clear now.
“Um, one more thing, can you attack head on like a man instead of attacking from behind. This is a spar after all.” This was basically a slap on the face. This is because using surprise attacks in a fight between cultivators is extremely disrespectful. They look down on assassins and poison users to begin with after all but no one can deny their usefulness.
“I didn’t realize you were too slow to turn around. Come take my second move!”
“Been waiting forever, just say,” Lintian blurts out.
Lintian didn't bother dilly dallying and fused his other Dantian into his current Dantian. He didn’t break through to the Master realm but the density and strength of his qi doubled.
Light essence began to gather around Micheal.
“Is he really going to use it?” one of the bystanders ask.
“Are you talking about the soaring light claw?”
“This kid is screwed for sure.”
“I heard its a tier 4 skill.”
“Big clans sure are mighty,” another laughs.
This time Micheal didn’t bother with the fancy instant movement skills. This was 70 percent of his full power. He will brutally crush Lintian here and now. Normally even 5 to 10 percent of his strength could kill a martial realm cultivator.
Two spell circles appears around Lintian strengthening his body. This array is a temporary solution. It will last about 3 minutes. Lintian’s defense will be strengthen by a multiple of three.
Micheal saw that spell formation and was little bit taken aback. So what if you’re a spell master. We are still a whole realm apart.
Micheal sprints forward and his soaring light claw caused the surrounding air to crash in upon itself.
Lightning could be seen dancing upon Lintian’s skin.
Micheal thrust his claw forward. Lintian already predicted the move and its trajectory. Lintian dodges and his hand moves forward to grab Micheal’s wrist. Micheal saw that he missed and then chose to swing his claw toward Lintian’s head but his wrist was caught by Lintian in the next millisecond.
The glove activated and began to seep Micheal’s qi. While it was absorbing Micheal’s qi, Lintian sent out a wave of electric qi. They entered into a close combat fist fight for a couple seconds before Lintian took a couple steps back.
Lintian’s arms felt extremely numb. He then checks the qi inside the glove. It wasn’t enough. Only little more than half of it was filled.
The light claws on Micheal’s hand dispersed into the air. His hand felt a little numb to from the electric qi that was shocking his arms whenever they came in contact. Especially since Lintian was constantly avoiding the hand and only was coming into contact with the wrist and forearm.
Micheal sent out a stream of his own qi to eliminate Lintian’s electric qi in his system. In but two-seconds all the foreign qi in his systems were flushed out.
Lintian’s hand were still numb. Lintian activated the lightning qi in his system to speed up the recovery process.
“Not bad, I was going easy on you,” Micheal bluffs because he could clearly feel that his speed was double Lintian’s but Lintian was still able to keep up somehow.
“Yeah, I was barely even paying attention,” Lintian retorts.
“Hmph! Then take my final attack. If you can withstand this then you win!” Micheal shouts. His internal qi was erupting like a volcano. Light essence were twirling around his body. It was mixing and merging together. On his right hand a tyrannical looking lance like shape appeared. This lance was made out of pure master realm qi and light essence.
This is a tier 6 martial technique! A lot of people here are astonished by the fact that Micheal would use such a strong martial technique on a mere martial realm cultivator.
Sh*t if that hits I’m gonna die, Lintian thought to himself. Cursing that he didn’t steal enough qi in that second exchange.
“He’s done for,” someone whispers shaking his head. The whole crowd felt the same way.
Katrina wanted to somehow step in and help but knows that it is not possible. Lintian dug himself to deep of a hole. Even making himself appear like and asshole.
Micheal was having mix feelings himself. Not the fact that he is afraid to kill him but by the strength Lintian displayed. It is far beyond what a martial realm expert should be able to do. The first time Lintian might be lucky and escaped with a profound instant movement technique but the second time was not possible. The attacks he displayed and used could easily kill an ordinary stage seven master realm expert and yet Lintian was only at a slight disadvantage. Even if he did use that spell array to strengthen’s his body it shouldn't be this strong. At most it would be comparable to an initial Master realm expert. One thought flash in his head. He has to die now! This time he will use his most trusted attack, and movement skill to finish this.

Reincarnated, let's be a pirate.
Oh, does it sound familiar? That's not really a surprise. After my death, God, bored by watching the worlds, choose to send me to a new world. I wonder does he know this is an over-used trope? Oh well, I will be alright. For now, let's find my first event. I'm sure it's around here somewhere. "It's like a trope wrapped in a cliché." Reincarnation of a Businessman
A businessman is betrayed by those he holds dearest and reincarnates into a mystical world of cultivation where the power of a single person can split the heavens. However, his reincarnation does not go smoothly... ******************** This is a xianxia (cultivation/progression fantasy) story which fuses a lot of western fantasy elements. This story includes POV's of different characters which are all going to be developed in the future and will have an effect on the story. The novel is named after the reincarnation of the businessman which serves as a cataclysm in the world of cultivation, and while the MC uses some of his business knowledge, this novel is not centered around the MC creating a business empire. I plan to extend the story into at least 2 books, both taking place in the same world. ******************** Updates will happen once every 2 days, but this is often going to change to once every day or once every 3 days because I am not currently writing full-time, and neither is my editor.

Storm of the Elementals
The apocalypse was something that people were expecting to happen sooner or later, rising sea levels and everything. What our protagonist didn't expect was it to be from a system, let alone the fact that he missed it. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.

The Dog with a Chair
As of now, this story is dropped. It was an excellent learning experience, but the quality suffered too much from me trying new things for me to continue in good concience. Thanks to anyone that read it. I'm leaving this story up as a record of my first ever attempt at publishing something I've wrote. To any new writers out there, remember that even if the stuff you write is trash, you can still learn a lot from writing it. - November 17th 2020 Guy gets involved in advocacy for civil engineering projects, then gets pulled into an interdimensional war. Third person with a focus on one main character (Stanley) with the occasional point of view from another character important to story progression. Writing style tends to shift early on as I figure out how to write (this is my first book). Still learning, hoping to improve. Current style choice is to have a focus on character dialogue/actions with interspersed internal monologue in italics. No current end is set for the story, with the primary goal of this project being to learn to express myself in a written format. Storyline is kept as consistent as practical while covering things I find interesting. Governmental systems are mentioned, but not explained in extreme detail. Sci fi elements are used to reinforce and guide plot progression as I'm able. Personal goals belonging to each character are in the process of being developed, with the hope that they will support or oppose each other in interesting ways later on. Hope you enjoy :)
