In a conference room, a board of directors meeting is being held. On several television screens which are embedded into the conference room’s wall are live video showing the situations in each of the campuses.

Five individuals sit around the conference table. The age range of the group is around 38-45 years of age. The codenames of the members in the board of directors are TIGER, HAWK, CAT, FOX, and LEOPARD, respectively.

A dark haired man with a tiger mask sitting at the seat of honor looks at the several other attendees of the meeting. “As you can see. Someone has been attacking all five of the campuses.”

He pauses and the television screens immediately show enlarged versions of the live video of each campus.

“Each campus, Kami Institute, Toukai Academy, Serin Institute, Houtei Academy, and Fito High School are being attacked.” The television screens then show the current confrontation between Mito and the spectre along with the fight of Suzi, Watabi, and Honoka.

“As you can see from Kami Institute, they are badly battered. The other campuses are just as desperate.” He proceeds to show other recordings of the other campuses which feature numerous casualties and collapsed buildings. It also displays spectres similar in build thrashing and charging at students. Distressed high level instructors also can be seen exhaustedly defending the students.

“We have also just got a report of the student council’s movement in which numerous espers from the student enforcer team have been headed towards Kami Institute.”

“They also have sent numerous teams which are heading towards the other campuses. I believe it is time to mobilize our hidden taskforce: Silent -1! This will be the perfect chance to utilize them. They have long ambushed in four of the five campuses which are Toukai Academy, Serin Institute, Houtei Academy, and Fito Highschool.”

“They have already mingled with the high levels of each campus who are still on the fence from their initial foolish neutrality. Now that they feel the helplessness, we can use this to catalyze their change from neutrality to apart of our influence!”

“The Kami Institute high level had already long ago become one of the student council’s influences which is also the reasoning behind their huge financial resource in comparison to the other campuses. Now it is our chance to outplay them and turn the scenario into a 4v1 situation.”

He clears his throat. “Alright, now it is time to initiate the decision making vote. Please raise your hands if you have any objection to dispatch Silent -1 and catalyze the expansion of our influence.”

No one in the room raises their hand. “Alright. Then it’s a go. Meeting dismissed.” He taps a red icon with a -1 text on it on his mobile device. On the screens at Toukai Academy, Serin Institute, Houtei Academy, and Fito Highschool, four rank A espers appear. Each of the espers have a “-1” visible somewhere on their body. Be it on clothing or a tattoo. One esper for each academy. Each esper immediately utilizes a variety of abilities which are essentially a combination of melee and supernatural attacks.

Akeno sits in her office and takes a look at the monitoring at each of the campuses and had early dispatched numerous more teams to go assist the other campuses. At this time, she sees the appearance of these espers.

“The board of directors have started to make their move. Seeing how no esper is at Kami Institute, it is clear the this will be a 1v4 situation..”

Akeno was well aware that Kami Institute already has some subtle relations with the student council. Thus, the combat reports from the Apple like smartwatches are also being directly fed here. She has also sent for informing through the watch the estimated time arrival of backup.

Seeing the screen and situation that Feng Ye is in, Akeno sighs. “Perhaps, this is all I can do to help you.”

“Immediately shield all public visuals on the situation at Kami Institute except for our own cameras.” This will prevent the board of directors from seeing anything more of the situation.

Akeno had already tasked someone to analyze each of the espers that have suddenly appeared at the other campuses.

“Withdraw the student enforcer teams sent as backup to the other campuses. Their issues are about to be resolved. As for the Kami Institute, try to arrive as fast as possible.”

It is clear that this is only the beginning of a 1v4 situation. The Kami Institute will be beset of the suppression of the other four campuses simply due to the division of camps. The board of directors have finally shown a part of their hand and will be able to quickly grasp the other four campuses.

“Troublesome times ahead…” Akeno rubs her forehead as she continues to monitor the Kami Institute situation along with the other campuses, with an emphasis on the abilities displayed by the four rank A espers.
