《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》42. Thin Line Between Instinct and Paranoia

Kle In is walking slowly as he followed his new master silently. There were many times he was tempted to flee whenever he was looking at the backyard over the window. What made him hesitant is the unknown. Where could he take shelter nor how would he survive when out of the city. This world is mysterious, and he is positive that varieties of magical beasts or maybe insects is waiting for him outside. Though he has money, he would most probably taken advantage of by sinister adults given his age and weak appearance.
Today, however is day he feels regretting not taking any action. His master has been acting out of norm. Like a few minutes ago when they went into the restaurant, he seemed deliberately letting everyone knew that he had finally found a good seedling to be his disciple and would like to travel back to a town near Paco City to settle in. He remembered that not even a soul would purchase him when he was being sold like a wild beast in a cage.
Kle In wanted to convince himself it is just an unsound wariness however when he acted like a child and asked they buy materials for basic lightning talisman as gift to his sister who is learning Formations should they meet again, his master bought it for him without question. Alchemy and Formation requires a level of mental strength and if his master is truly interested in nurturing a disciple, he should have had at least asked something about his made-up sister.
After walking for another thirty minutes, Kle In could see flying carriages being lifted by huge magical beasts. He has not stayed long in this city and he has certainly seen these flying objects from afar, but he could not believe such humongous beasts existed. After arriving on the terminal, he saw his master bought seats for Laa Garja Town instead of Paco City. He is still convinced himself not to over think and should cast aside this feeling of being distrustful. He boarded the carriage beside his master.

Unlike noisy airplanes, the carriage levitated as the flying beast pulled it upwards and flew into the air without an ear piercing sound. Kle In was seated by the window and he could see the city getting smaller as they move farther. For a moment, he has forgotten all his worries. He just hopes that he would be able to live properly on their destination.
After at least six hours total travel by air and a horse driven carriage, his master decided they stay in an inn to greet New Year. His master did not like being disturbed so he chose to reserve an entire house. Kle In as an adult knew that what grownups hated the most are noisy children, so he has been silent all this time.
The room was wide and when Dal In saw his meek and uncomplaining disciple, he asked for room service.
"The reason we have come here today is to buy you an Earth Class Flame. After you integrate with a better essence flame will I begin imparting my knowledge to you."
Kle In felt relief he wants to laugh how suspicious he had been. It turned out there was nothing to worry about at all.
"I have called room service so you can order anything you would like to eat. I will not be back until evening so do not anything to disturb them, ok?"
Kle In nodded in response.
Dal In left after a few minutes. Kle In was not particularly hungry, so he sent the hostess away and laid on the bed. He felt sad he was not able bid farewell properly to Aunt Mabna'y. At least he gave her a lump sum for her service and company.
He took out the materials his master bought him for basic lightning talisman. Talismans are forms of formations carved on a specialized parchment used in various forms however it is a one-time use. What he got now are ingredients for low-level lightning attack use to fend off magical beasts. He did not want to be idle the rest of the afternoon, so he thought about carving talismans to pass time.

He was about to unseal the jar of beast blood when he suddenly remembered the small quantity of Pud't Silver Lizard Blood Solution and other ingredients left from carving spatial rings. It was said it needs to be sealed again or it will in around expire in ten days. Kle In does not know how to seal items so he decided to make a miniature version of the massive formation he recalled before exploding himself during his past life.
Until now, he still wonders if his final moments back on earth are real or some figment of his imagination.
“How was I able to detonate myself in the middle of a Formation?”
Kle In already has an idea what Defensive Formation looks like and he, a mortal was able to bypass it during that time.
“Maybe I could recall more of my memories once I create a duplicate or emulate the actual formation.”
Kle In conditioned himself and after a few minutes, he started working. Kle In was unaware that the room he is in now was not protected by formations and him fixated in carving the formation was causing slight ripples of concentrated and pure Qi.
Around thirty meters from the inn Kle In was staying, a Mid Core Formation Expert from Violet Sword Sect was passing by from a mission. The higher the cultivation level a practitioner has, the more sensitive he become towards changes of Qi within their surroundings. At first the middle-aged man thought it was an illusion but when he stopped and investigated the fluctuations, he realized that it was similar to a High-Level Tier of Craftsmanship.
He does not know if it is Alchemy or Formation, but instinct told him he must befriend this master. After a minute, he was standing near the residence Kle In is currently staying at. He was tempted to use his divine sense and probe what was going on inside, however he was afraid this might disturb and offend this expert. He did not want others attracted so he summoned a simple Formation Flag, positioned it at a distance enough not caught the expert's attention but enough to contain the ripples.
