Kle In is resting on a cave he created on a cliff. The space is around two meters wide enough for him to lie down. He was barely able to walk after bandaging his wound. Upon noticing the depth and the force of the flowing water, he created a simple raft.

After around two hours of floating and continuous usage of Qi, he felt exhausted. He persevered until he saw a cliff. He carried himself and climbed using his Qi Projections. Whenever he felt like running out of strength, he would consume a Qi Enhancement Pill.

After creating a simple cave, he used two boulders to block the entrance. Kle In felt that the exhausted and hungry at the same time. He wanted to sleep and eat later when he wakes up but he felt like he may slumber for a longer period of time. He remembered the time he passed out due to Qi exhaustion. There were people tending to him even while unconscious.

Kle In made a few cuts of meat from his spatial ring and not long, he estimated he ate at least five kilograms of the Horned Flame Lion meat before feeling satiated.

He did not have any blankets or any pieces of cloth to improvise a simple bed so he took out a Flame crystal and placed it to a corner. They say that these crystals if not sealed would slowly deteriorate overtime but it is the best he could utilize to keep the temperature of the cave warm. Finally, he placed the sword to his side before surrendering to sleep.

Two days after the incident, two Nascent Soul Experts scanned a span of two hundred kilometer wide forest but ended up with nothing.

On the third day, the Nascent Soul expert from Violet Sword Sect gave up searching however not the devil cultivator from Twin River Spirit Sect. After the soul search, two conclusions were made. The first possibility is that the boy was using a Heavenly Treasure and the other is possession.

According to their thorough background check, the boy was sold off as a slave due to his constitution and was then bought by Elvens at San Ruk. It was then that an unusual high quality was revealed when San Ruk Eagles Guild was interrogated. Even the best Alchemist of the province would not be able to produce them and it is the reason why the Nascent Soul from Violet Sword Sect agreed to investigate.

Clues of the elusive Missing Alchemist Case were then revealed. The team originally was only investigating who killed their elder, but did not realize that restoring the cultivation of the boy resulted in other casualties.

The devil cultivator from Twin River Spirit Sect has reasons to believe that the soul possessing Kle In is another devil practitioner and an Alchemist who has reached the pinnacle. He would do anything to invite this person to their sect or maybe befriend it. The technique he saw during the soul search is a long lost art from an ancient sect who practiced devil transformation.

This is the third time he was searching the forest. He had already killed more than fifty people who were either hunting or honing their skills. At one time, he found a teenager who he thought was sleeping on a cliff. When he focused on the cave, he noticed the body of the boy excreting a black fluid. He thought the boy was probably poisoned. He would not mind looking further if the boy's height is forty centimeters shorter, but he did not want to waste his time any longer.

After a few days, Kle In was woken up by a loud thunder during a heavy rain. With the help of Qi Projection, he was able to get to the bottom and willed the shape of Qi to a wide conic surface to harness rain at one spot for him to wash himself.

Before he got naked, it dawned to him that the loose brown polo shirt and pants he was force to wear in the prison fitted him just right. He just realized his body has grown from a little boy to an adolescent teenager.

What was more amazing is that the deep wound on this leg was completely healed. He was dumbfounded that so much changed when he woke up. He washed the only pair of clothes he had and used a few pill bottles to gather water.

After a few minutes, Kle In sat beside the fire crystal on the corner of the cave naked. He took out the rings he looted from his victims and tried accessing them. Like the first time, his Qi could not penetrate the Defensive Blood Layers of the rings. Based on his understanding, one would need to constantly expose the layers with their own Qi to dissolve the previous owner's restrictions.

Kle In would like to know if he could refine the rings faster using the combined Qi from his first and second set of meridians. He took the ring of his torturer for his test.
