《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》77. The Elusive Path of Dao

Kle In closed the book he was reading upon seeing a silhouette of person approaching him from afar. He could guess it was Krad'u. When Kle In asked for books pertaining to their ancestors who had been in contact with the immortals, he brought all manuscripts and said that most of them were copied from the stone monuments within the Death Qi mountains.
He requested the texts to be copied again but halfway through the translation of the texts being brought to him, he realized there is no difference from the books he already had gone through with the two women.
Yesterday, Krad'u sincerely asked for a break to facilitate a burial rite but he did not expect to witness a heroic act of an elderly Elven before dying. He has gotten what he needed from this village and should be time to depart. It was all due to luck he was able to find clues about Beast Core Transplant. Although there is no cure mentioned in their repository, he still managed to get some leads to his next destination.
During his fifth day, Krad'u said there was once an ancient Elven clan who wanted to unify all continents creating turmoil and disturbance across the cultivation world. That clan believed that unifying the lands was the will of the immortals, the same immortals his ancestors had been in contact with. That clan underestimated the numbers of resistance and after years of protracted war, their experts fell one by one eventually leading to their demise.
After the clan was attacked on all sides, a rumor spread that the real reason they were waging war is to assimilate remnants of the technology left behind by the immortals. That Elven colony is the same Ul Al'iya clan on his destination. If they did accumulate things related to the immortals, some of them should contain records of bestowing and taking back powers to the locals of this planet. He can only hope those remains are kept safe in someone else's repository.

What really shocked him was during his ninth day. He felt the villagers were holding back in providing what he was looking for so he proactively suggested he provides guidance to the village Alchemist to further gain their trust. Not only was it revealed that they cannot see the same world view after imitating his Failed Superman's Eyesight, their way of concocting pills primarily relies on beast's blood and cores inside a hexagonal room full of formations and using a completely different cauldron design.
The three Beast Cores are placed strategically on a pool of blood at the base of the cauldron and creates three floating projections that will help facilitate during the final stages of pill formation.
Kle In's style is to directly communicate with the formation inside while their process is using those mediums to connect with the formation and concoct the pills. If he did not have his divine sight, he would not have been able to see how the formations within the room synchronously worked. He was able to point out that the alchemist needs to move around the cauldron during the pill formation.
He could not properly explain it to the alchemist because of the difference in perception, but the steps involved while moving around the cauldron is similar to a basic cultivation footwork of their clan.
It was an eye opener and luck played in his favor again otherwise his reputation as an Alchemist would have been smeared. He was arrogant and plain sophomoric he thought his way is the only true path. What consoles him is the fact that he could concoct pills with almost zero impurity while their process even with his tutelage can only produce Mid-Quality Pills. He wanted to study it but he really needs to focus in restoring his body back to normal first.

"I thank this esteemed master for giving us time to bury our kin. Rest assured I had everyone resumed in copying the texts and will be available this afternoon as promised."
Krad'u kowtowed upon arrival. Kle In wants to believe the sincerity of these villagers including Krad'u but he knows that the only reason for their respect and obedience is due to fear.
Ever since his last fight, he confirmed that he overestimated the strength of cultivators especially the Nascent Soul experts he killed.
"What do you know about human Sword Experts?"
Krad'u was surprised by the question.
"This Lord, if not because of the mysterious power produced by their techniques, the dominion of Ca'ar continent should have had long fallen into the hands of Elvens. They call it Path of the Grand Dao which even the most talented genius of our race is unable to comprehend."
Kle In felt relief upon hearing that Elvens cannot exert such force assuring there will not be any surprises on his next journey. Although it is still logical that a stronger version of the Sword Qi may exist, it is now clear that such practitioners are extremely rare and should be limited to humans. Krad'u could not explain what Sword Qi is, but at least he was able to tell what Kle In needed to know for now. Kle In activated his wings and slowly levitated.
"Bestowing you items may implicate your village, but I will remember the kindness and favor from heart. I will leave in peace."
Kle In flew off.
Krad'u watched Kle In's disappearing figure in confusion. Part of him hopes he really will not come back. He still fears those Qi Projections that easily killed the magical beasts that threatened their village for decades. And who would leave such a treasure and even imparting a technique to improve their inheritance of concocting pills.
Spiritual Veins are foundations of every sect and although the boulder does not emit Qi like Veins, it does produce a mysterious energy enriching any nearby floras with Qi. Through time, they might be able to produce their own Nascent Expert by relying on that treasure. He clenched his fists and hope for the best.
