《God Must Be Lazy He Allowed a Cultivation Anomaly》87. Reincarnation and Coincidences I

Kle In was woken up by a powerful divine sense that scanned the residence including him. It has been two days since he rested and maintained his position on the chair.
After three days of continuous reading, he suddenly felt how relaxing was the feeling when he closed his eyes for a few moments. He closed what he was reading and placed it near the piles of books that accumulated to his side. He is not exhausted nor sleepy but that dreamlike state felt like it was calling him. Kle In did not resist as he succumbed to this dreamy and soothing state.
Just as when he thought he would never wake up again, his body instinctively reacted toward the divine sense that scanned the house completely waking him up. He could feel three people slowly approaching the house and basing on his experience, the person who scanned him is a Nascent expert followed by Peak Late Core. If not because of the third familiar aura, he would have killed these new arrivals for disturbing his slumber.
After a minute, he heard a soft knock before the door was slowly opened. Ver'a was left at the door while the two guests entered. Kle In could still feel the domineering aura of the two but it suddenly vanished when the two guests arrived at the entrance and remained there not daring to step inside the room full of books.
"I greet this esteemed friend. I am called Raata, second elder of Kra'ing Sect. The village leader came to our sect yesterday and reported that this esteemed sir is looking for information about the immortals. This ring contains information I hope can be of assistance."
Raata, together with his companion apologetically kowtowed then telepathically controlled a spatial ring and brought it in front of Kle In. Kle In slowly lifted his head and opened his eyes to pick up the ring.
"If the village decided to give up the Spiritual Vein, then it is their business. If you have nothing else, I wish to slumber in peace."

"The doors of our sect will always be open for this friend. It was not our intention to disturb and forgive our carelessness. We shall see ourselves out."
Kle In placed the ring on the table and concentrated on getting back to his magical moment of peace.
After around two minutes of flight, the companion of the Raata can no longer contain his curiosity.
"Master, while that beast was scary, I am confident I could take him down just by my aura."
Raata stopped mid air turned around and looked into the direction of Mur Av'ic village. When they arrived earlier, he immediately went inside the temple where the Spiritual Vein was planted. He did not want to celebrate early as the boulder might have hidden restrictions and the slightest mistake may cost their sect an irreversible loss.
The boulder looked man made and he believed it cannot be the only one. Greed was slowly taking over him. As they walk towards the residence where the original owner is currently secluded, he scanned the area and was assured there is no powerful existence making him even more complacent. He could easily dislodge this person from hiding however he chose to tread carefully, however right before they could step into the room where previous owner is resting, he was glad he did not act reckless.
"When cultivators kill, they slowly build bloodlust. Normally this would take years and innumerable bloodshed before it forms however it is different when you kill stronger opponents. The more powerful they are, the more resentment lingers on the killer and this resentment looks like bloodlust.
That man must have killed at least four Nascent experts not long ago and either he does not know how to refine this resentments or he is deliberately displaying it to warn us."
Raata sighed.
"But master, his transformation maybe different but how come I cannot sense any danger or anything special about him?"
"You are still too weak to sense this imperceptible aura. I was blinded by greed I almost failed to see it. It would be easier to explain when you reach Nascent level. Stay here for now and make sure no sect members approach that village. I will arrange a few guards to take your position when I return."

Raata did not say more and summon a sword to speed up his travel. He wanted to go back to research more on beast transformation. A few still believes on the rumors that they will be reborn as Spiritual Veins when they let themselves infected and die with a parasitic jellyfish and he has witnessed less than a hundred of these incidents and none of them come close to Kle In's transformation.
There are two types of transformation. Infected cultivators through parasitism usually have their skin turned into hardened black scales and grew tentacles and it is applicable to all cultivators. While the other type is Death Qi Transformation and it is only applicable to humans. The skin will darken and turn into something similar to that of a demonic lion or apes.
It is troubling him since transformed cultivators should lose their sanity and he has never encountered one that grew horns. What he needs to know is the life cycle so they could plan on making a move and seize the Spiritual Vein.
Meanwhile, Kle In is trying to get back to that state of nothingness. Although he has accepted his fate, he still does not have the courage to kill himself. After a few hours, he could still not sleep and started to get irritated especially when he heard Midi crying outside.
Kle In felt it will probably take some time before he gets into another trance, so opened his eyes and looked at the spatial ring given to him. He wonders what use are the books or knowledge inside. He has read every book in the room and not one contained Brung's research. Most of them are biographies and cultivation techniques. He even skipped some of them as the topic is about Elven Reproduction and why pure Elvens cannot crossbreed with humans except for the genetically modified Half Elvens.
Kle In took out a random crystal recording and inserted his Qi and a hologram started playing.
"Today marks the one hundred and forty third death anniversary of General Ul. He was charged treason for reckless transmittal of the first experiment. What was supposed to be a simple mission escalated into a war.
My assistant was killed by Captain Al'iya ten days ago. Apparently, he was planning on doing on a galactic broadcast that Brung's Research is a failure. He believed this would end the conflict and save everyone.
There are signs of successfully creating an artificial Black Qi Spiritual Vein and although I may not live to see it, it is a breakthrough worthy of celebration for us scientists. Unfortunately, even with this success and no matter how much the math makes sense, the mystery of Vein producing Spiritual Qi still eludes us. My team has run out of MC1 Parasites and more than ten thousand experiments are all failures.
Brung's research has similarities to Al Ei's Dimensional Relativistic Theory. According to his theory, the universe we live in is just one among the infinite universes within a Pseudo 4 Dimension and the laws of physics within each universe is subjective on the permutations of three primal energies which are Spiritual Qi, Black Qi, and third one is yet to be determined.
If I die tomorrow, I hope to be reborn in a universe where Black Qi is the basis of cultivation. I really do not know why we are still calling it Black Qi instead of Blue Qi. Well anyway, let me show you the math and I hope that....
You're not supposed to be here. Have you no respect for.
Bang! "
The hologram ended. Kle In got up to his feet. He is not interested on how the researcher died but on the name, Al Ei. He took out the rest of the contents of the ring and started playing another crystal recording.
There is too much coincidence if Al Ei stands for Albert Einstein.
