Survival on an Unknown Planet
Inside a small conference room, Captain Rafal is standing on the far edge of table whilst facing an old temptress Elven. While the woman looks present in the room, she is actually a hologram of a headmaster from another planet which is light years away.
“How rare for a technological person like you initiate contact. Did you finally gain courage to ask me to concoct a pill for that little elephant dangling between your legs?”
“No, your Magistrar. I have timed the signal to simultaneously broadcast to happen during on a Galactic Lima Flare isolating our conversation. I believe this group of Cadets will interest her Magistrar.”
“Ohhh? Going to the trouble of not allowing other magistrars to have a look. Looks like you finally matured. If I’m not satisfied though, I will pluck your pubic hairs in public.”
Captain Rafal stood motionless with his hands at his back and unaffected with the Magistrar’s remarks and like a trained soldier, he was patiently waiting for command.
“Begin encrypted transmission!”
“I hear and obey.”
The hologram of the Magistrar disappeared and the lighting of the room dimmed as well. After which, Captain Rafal pressed a few buttons the table revealing another hologram at the center of the table.
Within that hologram, a High-Elven youth whose skin is as smooth as a baby shot an arrow whilst standing on a branch of a towering tree.
*Swish
The arrow looks like it was softly released but in a blink of an eye, it travelled in an unimaginable speed and its target is a four-meter tall ogre. From afar, it looks like savage but up close, his skin is glittering red scales. His nostrils are located on his neck and have developed two snail-like eyes to be on the lookout while munching on its prey.
There is a distance of half of a kilometer between the High-Elf and while the arrow was shot by a marksman precision, the wiggling eyes floating above the ogre’s shoulder detected the incoming threat alerting the monster to jump on the side.
*Rwarrrrr!
The ogre shouted and released its aura.
On the other hand, the High-Elf youth activated her full power as well to resist the pressure. As someone who is at Peak Nascent Soul cultivator, she knew she does not stand a chance and jumped down and dashed towards the mountain.
The ogre is among the top predators of this area and while its intelligence is low, having seen the woman who shot at him, he felt a perfect candidate to incubate its descendants.
“How dare you run!”

The ogre propelled himself and in an instant, the gap between him and the High-Elf Narrowed by ten meters.
“You shall become my queen!” The ogre rejoiced as his prey is a palm away but just before he could grab and capture the woman, it suddenly disappeared and reappeared from afar creating a distance of 100 meters.
“You!!”
The ogre was enraged and ran madly again to catch his prey. In mere two seconds, the gap increased again by another 500 meters.
“I’ll kill you!”
Just moments ago, the ogre was driven by its lust yet a few taunt turned him into an enraged bull that only knows how to attack and kill. He strengthened his whole body again with another layer of aura before dashing through mountains however after passing after a tree, he felt a foreign wave of energy that coursed throughout his body.
“Have a taste of this. Activate”
Without the ogre realizing, two more cultivators have already positioned themselves on his side and pointing three slabs of wood.
BLOOD DISTORTION FIELD
The Arrays engraved on the two pieces of flat slabs of wood shined releasing a red mist.
“Prepare for an attack!”
A red mist enveloped the ogre’s body triggering his primitive instinct. As a creature that has survived countless predators, he can feel the mist is dangerous so he jumped upwards to escape the mist. With his size and strength, a slight push on of his feet from the ground moved him at least 10 meters and having escaped from the mist, he wanted to levitate further to assess his surroundings.
He wanted to further boost his body with his power yet just before he can reform another set of layer around his body, he felt the Qi and Mana flow within his Core has become unresponsive.
“No!!” Confusion and fear was painted on his face as the eyes on his shoulders saw an incoming sword.
*Zzzzkkk!!
Blood splattered
*Zzzzkkk!!
As soon as the sword cut the head of the ogre, the transmission of the projection was terminated. Captain Rafal pressed a few buttons again on the table to resume the hologram of the Magistrar.
“That is the fourth hunt within first month of their landing, your Magistrar.” Captain Rafal casually made a remark.
“Such remarkable coordination and the Ubrutus youngling did not even exert any efforts. Let me guess. They’re attempting to hunt a Primordial Octapedde?”
“Affirmative!”
“Have your Overseers retrieve them now. That’s an order. If there’s a fatality, I will castrate your grandson.”
“I hear and obey!” Captain Rafal saluted and when the communication ended, he immediately transmitted a signal to his subordinates.

Meanwhile, at the mountain where the ogre was decapitated, Brutus’ team is currently preparing for another set of Formations which they will be using for their final hunt. While all of them are Peak Nascent level, majority of the magical beasts they have encountered so far all have the power to rival them and it is only through their careful teamwork that they have manage to get by.
“Should we go ahead kill that human? He’s getting on my nerves.”
“Indeed. I feel like being stared by a lecher.”
Brutus countenance became serious when the issue about the human was brought up. Just when he thought that only four of them decided to take the challenge, he just realized that this weak looking human had already gone ahead of them.
The first few days when they reached the surface, he had to scout their surroundings and that’s when he first spotted Clay. Clay flew towards a floating island and stayed there since and it just so happens that their prey was located on a mountain where their hunt can be observed from his position.
It true that it irritates him that they are being watch but he cannot compromise their plan. And as much as he wanted to confront Clay, he has this inexplicable fear and a premonition he will die. It is quite obvious that Clay is only a Core Formation expert but it is also a possibility that their divine sense may not be strong enough to measure and look through Clay’s cultivation.
“I know it is absurd but if there is a possibility he is stronger than us and can trick the four of us into believing he is only a Core Formation expert, ganging up on him will be an easy task but do you think he will go down without dragging one of us?” There was sincerity on Brutus voice as he explained.
“All the more we have to kill him. If he meddles during the final hunt, it will even be a bigger problem.”
Mrrggghhh!
Brutus cleared his throat.
“He was fearless coming by himself. I’m sure he has something up his sleeve. How about this. We vote and if it’s a tie, we’ll toss a wooden coin.” Brutus is a natural born leader and as much as he values his plan, he places more importance on the team who will be supporting him.
Just when everyone was about to vote, all four of them simultaneously looked above.
“Did anyone of you accidently activate your Retrieval Tokens?”
“Mine’s intact.”
“Me too.”
“I hid mine in a cave like you instructed. Is it possible… “
The four are surprised as the Overseers of the initiation came without their request and after half a minute, two men in combat suits landed on the ground.
“We greet the Overseers.”
“We greet the Overseers. I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere.”
“Please give us time to prove our…”
*Weng!
One of the Overseers summoned shuttlecraft around twenty meters long.
“There is no mistake. All of you are guaranteed to have A-Status and the Magistrar herself will personally test you if you qualify for higher status. Aboard the shuttlecraft. That’s an order.”
“But… “Brutus was speechless as he had no idea they were secretly being monitored and he has not even revealed his skills.
“I said that’s an order. Aboard the ship now!”
The four enter the ship and few minutes later, the shuttlecraft ascended to the skies.
Meanwhile, at least three kilometers away from the mountain where the four was picked up, numerous huge rocks are naturally floating above the skies they all look like floating island and on one of these rocks, Clay is sitting at the edge eating a biscuit.
He did notice this group three days after being thrown into the planet’s surface and did not expect that he will see them again many days later and he just witnessed how outstanding his fellow cadets are.
To be able to resist the pressure emanated by a monster is already commendable. Clay has an idea how strong Goblins so he knew the dangers of confronting one and that ogre-looking Goblin the four has defeated is in no way weak.
He was expecting that their fight will drag on and just when he thought about lending them a hand, two of their teammates revealed their trump card turning the course of events in an instant. Clay saw how the Arrays activated and while it can only last a second, that split second was more than enough to determine the victor. Even that red mist was an overkill if its only function is to trick the second set of eyes of the monster.
Clay asked himself if he can even play on their level if he does not have his cheat. But one thing he is curious of is why did the Overseers pick them up when none of the tokens were activated?
*Sigh
Clay stopped thinking after another hour, he stood up and stretched his body. It should be his time to make his move.
