It was a vast circular room to the point that I couldn’t even clearly see where the other side was.

I looked in front of me, there was no one.

Suddenly my senses rose. As I looked up, there was a giant snake just staring down at me.

I thought I was fortunate since this battle would not take place underwater.

That was just my delusion, the serpent opened its mouth and spewed a massive wave of concentrated water towards me.

I used Morpheus to form a sphere around me to avoid the water pressure. My weapon was able to hold on even under such pressure. It filled the entire room with water in just a few seconds.

However, soon after, it followed up and tried to break my shield using its teeth. Its mouth was big enough that it could swallow me and my entire shield whole.

It still wasn’t enough for it to break my shield; however, the protection had taken some damage.

It picked me up and started to hammer me against the wall.

I realized that the shield wouldn’t last long.

As it took a back stance to strike me against the wall, I undid the shield, which caused it to close its own mouth with extreme force.

I was able to escape the grasp of its teeth.

Before it could analyze what happened, I quickly turned my weapon into a sword and gave it a shallow wound.

It quickly fell back and maintained some distance.

It roared underwater, which caused a spiral-like torrent of water to flow towards me.

I created a shield, but the pressure was too much, and I got pushed back and struck the wall.

I tried to use flame control, but it was still ineffective.

It started to create whirlwinds to attack me.

Right after I escaped the whirlwinds, I ended up right in front of the serpent.

It started to coil around me and strangle me with its enormous body. It outclassed me in terms of strength.

I used [Pierce], but its defense was also way too high. With no other choice, I started to use [contamination].

But right now, the poison had no way to enter its body.

Right now, I could control whether to mix the poison in the water or direct it somewhere else.

I remembered that I had left a shallow wound around its face. I directed the poison towards its face, and now my poison had entered its blood vessels.

It must have felt that as it screamed in agony. The grip around me had loosened, and I used that opportunity to escape its grasp.

However, both of my arms were broken, and the poison still needed more time to spread throughout its colossal body.

The serpent regained its senses and headed straight towards me. I tried to escape but my right leg, which was barely holding on broke.

And the serpent straight up used its powerful jaws to bite my entire upper half and swallowed it.

However, being a skeleton, I was able to survive it.

But soon, the digestive liquid began to surround me.

It was not that powerful, and soon it started to melt my bones. I could not move as my hands were broken, and the lower body was missing.

My body was able to survive under the fluids and soon started to regenerate.

And soon, the serpent’s body that kept moving became stable. It was at its last breath because of the poison that spread throughout its body.

After some time, my legs were fully recovered. I used my burning sword to cut myself out from the inside and get out of there.

It failed again.

I used fire forging to separate its scales, inner skin, bones, and flesh.

I converted the black scales into an armor that covered my body from the neck to my legs.

The skin was used to create a cape around my back.

I used some of its bones to create a ring.

I knew how to create better tools and use my abilities effectively, thanks to sage’s wisdom and sorcerer’s knowledge.

Now, it was time to move on.

As I moved towards the next end, I saw another door and opened it.

I was simply expecting that there would be new monsters for me to kill and move on but unlike my thoughts, what I saw was civilization.
