《Evolution of the Skeleton who walked alone in a Dungeon》Chapter 0034{A Cursed Ring}

Soon, the Fruit had consumed its entire flesh and now had started to feed on the bones.
While it was doing that, I looked around the room.
Many weapons, swords, spears, bows, but they were all surrounded by a black aura. It was a sign that they were cursed.
Primarily among them, one of the rings piqued my interest. I could not use appraisal on living beings outside the dungeon, but I certainly could use it on non-living things, like this ring over here.
“Appraisal”
[A Cursed Ring]
Created by a mad dwarf, it bears malice towards the living, wore by the ancient elf king, If a person with the blessing of the gods wears it, they would be able to bear the curse and use the power of the ring, but if any other being wears it, they will get consumed by the curse.
Once a person wears the ring, the ring will not come off until the wearer dies and will never leave the wearer’s side.
That’s seems really interesting. Should I try it? But what about the curse? Who really cares about the curse, when the ring looks so cool?
I wore it
.
.
Nothing happened.
Wasn’t I supposed to get consumed by some curse?
The Fruit now had finished consuming the bones.
After feeding itself, it again shrank itself and went inside my forehead.
.
.
Again, nothing happened
My body was still the same, the mana pool was still the same, nothing had changed
Why did nothing happen? Was the amount of the flesh not enough? Or is it merely using my spiritual sea as a resting place while not even providing me with anything?
It would have been easier if appraisal worked on the Fruit but, the Fruit was considered as a living being by the system.
It was time to leave the room. I did not take the weapons as I had no use for them, and also, I had given my spatial ring to crimson, so there was also no way to carry it.

I still wondered who the one that made this room was? And why was there a coffin of such a person in this place?
I left the room, got out of the hole, and repaired it.
I left the palace, and went to the city, the city was filled with high elves, it wasn’t really that hard for me a kill a random high elf and take him to some back ally.
I took out the Fruit, but this time it did not feed upon it
But why, though? How is this corpse different than the previous? Both are dead, maybe it was the amount of power they had when they were alive.
I could not figure it out, so I left it for now.
I returned to my room and started to think about what I wanted to ask for.
The day had arrived,
The king sat on his throne; I was in front of him standing.
“Now, ask, what is it that you want? I even gave you a day to think about it?”
“Yes, I thought about it, and I finally found out what I desired”
“So, what is it?”
“It’s not much, but it’s something only you can give.”
“Just say it already.”
“Nothing much, I need the jewel that is engraved in your crown.”
“You need the jewel?”
“Yes”
“Do you realize what you are asking for?”
“Yes, I do.”
“You are going to take the jewel rather than my life or the kingdom.”
“Of course, one of the most precious and powerful divine gemstones gifted by the gods and yet they used it to make a crown, I am sure I would use it to make more important things.”
“This gem was gifted to us high elves by the gods, many generations ago, only the king gets to wear this gem, and is also considered to be the pride of the elves, do you know what it means if you ask for it? You are declaring war with the entire kingdom of elves.”

“Of course, I know about that.”
“Even if I give it to you, you think the elders would just let you walk out of here with the gem.”
“My, but did not you promise me you would give me anything I want? Well, you could change your mind if you wish to, Afterall it’s just a word you gave me, you can tell me it was all just a lie, just to buy a bit more time, you can tell me the king of the prideful high elves is a liar, you have lied before haven’t you? So, it should be fine to lie just once more and prove to me you have never kept your promises.”
“Enough, your taunting is not going to change anything, you have no idea how far I have gone to fulfill those silly promises, I am going to keep my promise and give the gemstone to you.”
“I appreciate it.”
“But, I won’t guaranty it will remain in your hands, I won't try to take it from you as long as you are inside this kingdom, but remember, the moment you step a foot outside, you will be facing the entire elvish kingdom and me in front of them leading them. Are you still confident you would be able to escape?”
“Of course,”
“I can feel you are strong, but I am stronger, you should know that”
“Of course,”
The king stood up from his throne, slowly came towards me, took out the crown he was wearing, and gave it to me.
For a king of a prideful race like high elves to give me his throne just to keep his word, I was moved by that.
I did not pretend like I understood what he must have felt, with no more words spoken, I simply turned back and left

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

The Adventurer's Guild(master)
In a world of adventure, magic, and kingdoms, only one man can keep it all from falling apart. As much as he wished that wasn't the case. This is the story of the man who became the guild master of the most prestigious adventurer's guild in the kingdom, and then came to completely regret that decision, as he is forced to keep the peace, file paperwork, and babysit adventurers. The life of a guild master is not as great as it once seemed. Note: The prologue is an extended -probably should have not took it that far- joke and is completely skippable from the rest of the series. This is my first work on this website, or on any website to be honest, so criticism is more than welcome. Feel free to leave comments on any chapter, not just the latest one.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
