《The Quest To Devour All》Chapter 5 [Edited 18/12/19]

He started floating on the water and technically kept his breath in as he didn't really need to breathe because of his {Sunlight Photosynthesis} skill which included the production of oxygen as long as his skin encountered sunlight and carbon dioxide he found out early on while walking from the system.
He still questioned why he didn't need water for photosynthesis but he easily shrugged it off.
Back to his current situation, Tremis could feel the slight movements of the water getting closer and closer before he heard a blood-curdling scream.
"AHHHHHH! ITS A DEAD BODY!"
Hearing that the person was so close he tried to relax more to seem as if he was really dead and then purposefully opened his mouth to intake the water.
Fearing that he would die, he didn't really swallow the water but instead kept it in his mouth and shrinking his cheeks so it seems as if nothing was inside them.
Shit, they are very close..too close..uncomfortably close..
Soon Tremis heard another voice but this time it sounded like a male in his early 20s or even a teenager for that matter.
"What a body? I thought we were the only people inside this forest.."
This male voice was obviously more chill than the female who Tremis could obviously hear hyperventilating.
"That's exactly my point! How could anyone else be in this dangerous forest!.." the female voice said then with a softer voice she talked again.
"Danny..can you please..remove it?. We were supposed to be using this water to bathe but now it’s getting more bloody.."
"Yeah yeah I'll move it Fae.." the male voice said as he walked closer and closer to the "corpse" and picked it up as the turmoil inside Tremis' head increased.
Shit shit shit shit! This is not what I planned. I just wanted them to move away from the dead body. I guess that is too much to ask for..but I don't want to be left in this goddamn forest! I gotta show them I am still alive.

As the male named 'Danny' carried the "corpse" over his shoulder to shore not even bothering to look at it, it suddenly coughed as water spewed out its mouth then coughing a few more times.
"AHHH ITS A ZOMBIE!" the female named 'Fae' could be heard screaming as it could be easily assumed that she wasn't the most "brightest" of people.
"Idiot! It's not that its a zombie! It's because this person is alive!" as Danny said this, he quickened his steps to the shore and gently laying Tremis on the dirt.
Danny laid his hands on Tremis chest, starting to perform the Heimlich maneuvers.
Tremis had extra water in his mouth just for this situation as he coughed again making a little bit more water come out of his mouth as he inwardly thought that he was a genius.
He could hear another scream from the female he now had known as Fae immediately stopping any thought he had and thinking if she ever shuts up.
"What are you screaming about now?" Danny said as he looked over to Fae seeing her holding her hand over the lower half of her face.
"Nothing..just that why is such a..noble looking person would be out here and..naked.." then all Tremis could hear was somebody’s head being hit as Danny said, "He almost drowned and you told me to toss him away but then you act like a fangirl and start blushing over his appearance?"
Feeling as if he had enough time acting dead, Tremis slowly opened his eyes acting as if he had just woken up and started looking around then to the people who had "saved" him.
He saw the male called Danny, he was a short blonde-haired teenager with blue eyes and what appeared to be a set of bronze armor with steel-looking longsword hanging on his back.

He looks like the energetic type..just great..
Next, he saw Fae who appeared to be your typical mage airheaded character.
Long black hair, hazel eyes with a mole under her right and a red wizard hat accompanied with a red robe.
Then a mage..the old warrior and..fire?..mage combo eh?.the system did tell me they called upon the Gods and there was a fire one so I can only conclude with fire mage.
"Oh, he is waking up!" Danny said as he quickly went back to Tremis and put his hand under his head to support it if there was any trouble.
"He really is waking up!" Fae also said as he walked over to him as well then squatting down right next to him.
White...
"Hey! What's your name? How did you get here? Are you alright?" Danny said as he had a worried face while looking down at Tremis, quickly barraging him with questions.
Time to put my acting skills to good use!
Tremis pretended to be groggy and stared at Danny as he acted like he was thinking.
"Who are..you people?.."
Danny quickly said in a hurried manner "I am Danny and she is Fae.. we are an adventure group..we were coming over to this waterfall to take a bath then we heard noises and you were there floating on top of the water in a pool of blood. Now can you please answer my questions?"
"Oh..thank you for saving me..My name is..Tremis?..im sorry I can't remember anything other than that.."
Danny and Fae looked at each other with worry in their eyes as Danny looked back and kept talking.
"It’s alright..you might be suffering from amnesia so your memories would slowly become more clear later on so please hang with us until then!"
Danny gave an eye-blinding smile as did Fae as they looked at Tremis who had a faked "appreciative" face on.
"No please..please don’t stop whatever you are doing just for me. I could be out here by myself.."
Danny shouted back, "No! This forest is too dangerous for one person, especially someone with no memories. So please..stay with us"
Seems like my plan is coming together..ahh I feel bad for these suckers..actually no I don't!
"Oh..alright, thank you for letting me stay with you..but do you have some clothes to spare? I feel a bit embarrassed being naked and all.."
Tremis gave a nervous smile and scratched his head as both Danny and Fae blushed remembering that he was indeed naked.
"Of course! I have some, follow us to our camp and we can give you some of my clothes."
After Danny helped Tremis up and made sure that he could stand up when Tremis realized something.
Fucking shit im tall..im like 7 foot tall or something and this guy is like 6' 4'' and she is 5' 3''.. whatever I can't complain! Tall equals sexy!
As they turned around to walk away, Tremis faked nervous smile stopped as he gave a cold glare as if killing intent could be felt from him but every time they turned back to make sure he was ok he would give them a slight smile.
They all slowly walked to the camp as Tremis was thinking of his plan.

Lost In Translation
If you're one to travel the roads, you may have heard of me. You may have heard my Names in the stories, the songs, and the whispers of the road. Perhaps you've even seen me during my travels, speaking to a bird of blue light, or on a city street, performing small acts for coin and repute. Or perhaps you may know me as the Skystrider, who walked with the wind. Or the Voiceless, a man of song without speech. You may know me as the Tutor, who taught the Lion of Summer how to fight, or the Traveler, who has walked all the roads of the earth. I am all of these things. And people have branded me a myth. But people don't understand what a myth is. They haven't heard the songs lost to our tongues, nor have they seen the things I've seen. They haven't gone to the places I've gone. My feet have walked the plains, the seas, and the clouds. I have spoken languages unspoken; tongues lost to time. I have sung to the earth, held the moon in my arms, and walked the roads that your heroes hesitate to even mention. I have outwitted Demons. I have danced with the Fae. My songs have been heard by lords of wind and ash, and my steps have echoed in the bellies of gargantuan beasts the likes of which you have never seen. These are what real myths are. And me? I'm no legend. I'm just the bard stupid enough to poke the real ones with a stick. Discord link here. [Disclaimer: Book 1 of this story will likely be published in KU by around the start of 2022, so please keep that in mind. Book 2 and onwards will continue here until they are published as well.]

But when an object of great and malevolent power promises to make good on all the promises the mages broke to him Mar is thrust into the world of magic. Mar will find that fate had something more than a life confined to the library planned for him after all. Authors Notes: I consider this to be a comming-of-age Sword and Sorcery story based mostly on the style of classic western fantasies. So if that's your thing then I encourage you to take a peek. Something I want to mention though is that the main character starts of pretty wimpy, and that might not be your thing. That being said, if you stick with him he's got a long way to grow. Also, while this version of the story is meant to be fully readable, more dicerning readers may want to wait until I move out of rough draft phase. There may be some inconsistancies with character and plot while I am still in the rough draft phase. I'm sorry for this, but this is my first web novel and from what I've read the best way to get a good novel out is to write write write, and then edit ruthlessly after you're finished with the book, so that's the plan I'm going to follow. Again, this is a rough draft. Everything you are reading is subject to change, including the name, title, and cover photo. This may no longer be the case once I've decided I know where this fiction is going and I have a reasonable understanding of the characters and their behavior. You're reading what comes off my keyboard as it's made, with very limited editing. There will be mistakes in the text. I do a quick spell check to take out the worst of the errors, but there will be some I miss. You can point them out in the comments if they are particularly confusing or glaring and I will try to fix them, however I am not overly concerned about minor errors as this is not the final draft by any means.

The End
There are five days left. The End is a miracle 10,000 years in the making that will free all from the confines of the world. The gods will soon be born. There is nothing that can be done about this. Not a webnovel, but a screenplay, submitted as my dissertation for my screenwriting degree. Sort of experimental. I have learned that I dislike writing screenplays, but all the same, I thought I'd post it anyway so it's at least worth something that way.
