《The Quest To Devour All》Chapter 21

Tremis felt as if he was floating through the universe, experiencing the sight of all different kind of planets and their progression throughout creation. Some had massive creations reaching the skies, some were just full of water, and some were just trees.
He was beginning to enjoy traveling like this but he looked in front of him. There was some enormous glaring object but he could not feel any heat emanating from it, it was a sight to behold.
...Then his mind started to process what is happening.
“What the fuck… where am I? Didn’t I just fucking pass out? Why am I having this hippie trip?”
“Wait a shit cunting minute, is that a fucking.. Is that a fucking star? What the fuck! Help me! Fuck!”
He started to struggle as he slowly floated towards the glowing orb of life and death. Tremis was approaching it at neck-breaking speed before the world suddenly turned bright and he sat up. He looked around and sighed in a cold sweat.
He was still in this dimly lit cave full of rubble from his previous fight, with those revolting goblin creatures being still there. Ahh, just the way he liked it. A, B, C, and D were sleeping a few meters away from him, huddled into a small ball. It was almost cute, so he found it quite a bit disgusting.
“Uuugh, my head fucking hurts,” Tremis clutched his head and began to hit his temple with his right hand’s wrist. While holding his head, he slowly started to get up onto his feet. He looked at his hand and realized it was charred black with an orange tinge, many indents, and holes lining it with random protrusions.
Oh yeah, I still have that skill activated, it’s pretty cool.
He deactivated {Body of Volcanic Rock), slowly the rock started to recede inside his body, returning its smooth caramel color and texture. It was a creepy experience to see rocks go into your body. As he was thinking about the usefulness of the skill, he heard a sound, and something popped up in the middle of his eyesight.
[Skill {Devorare Mana Manipulation: Godly Flames of Laerata} has been upgraded.][You have devoured the essence of Laerata that gathered inside of one of his devout followers. Due to the massive increase in godly mana, this skill’s effects have been updated. ]
[New Effects: +30% resistance to all flames, +15% resistance to Devorare Flames, +50% purity to Devorare Flames causing damage to increase by the aforementioned percentage, all fire skills will be automatically upgraded.]
[{Fireball} ---> {Devorare Energy-Enhanced Fireball}]
[{Flamethrower} ---> {Devorare Energy-Enhanced Flamethrower}]
[{Fire Elemental Form} ---> {Devorare Inferno Elemental Form}]
“Oh, that's… interesting. I need to find more of these religious suckers and sap out their god juices. Okay maybe that wasn’t the best phrasing but it gets the point across. I wonder what would happen if I were to devour some other god’s energy. Would it further enhance the spell or create an entirely different thing?”
He continued to speak to himself to no one in particular like an absolute psycho.
Tremis began to stretch his entire body, getting ready for the possibly exciting day that was ahead of him. He set his murder limit to a minimum of twelve for the day, a nice and clean number to achieve. He already identified who his initial four will be.
He peered over to the four green midgets huddling together near the entrance to the throne room they were currently in, although a mild bit destroyed and not containing a throne anymore. Then suddenly he got an idea, a fair good one at that.

“ATTEN-TION,”
D was the first one to wake up and swiftly get up onto his feet. The other three followed behind at a much slower pace, something that Tremis did not like. He stared particularly at C since he was the last one to get up.
“Sluggish,” Tremis said as he brought up his right hand and pointed his index finger at him. Quickly, a completely black orb took form from nothing, eventually growing to the size similar to that of a golf-ball. An incomprehensible amount of heat started emanating from the small energy-based object.
C was incapable to react at such a fast pace, even if he could there was nothing that he could do against the person who had cast the magic. The Devorare Fireball flew towards his chest, completely passing through his sternum, absorbing all the tissues and organs in his way, then continuing to hit the wall behind him. Surprisingly, the fireball had essentially eaten a small hole into the stone wall in a scary silence.
The goblin’s body hit the floor like a sack of potatoes, bouncing back up a little bit from the impact. The smoldering hole in his chest caused a smell of slightly-charred barbecue to emit across the entire room. Tremis tried to stop himself from licking his lips but a noticeable gulp came as he tried to swallow the excess amount of saliva that accumulated in his mouth.
“Now that the weakest link is out… kill each other,” All of them looked at Tremis with a complicated look, their face asking him if he was being serious. His unmoving facial expressions had answered their questions. Their head snapped to their fellow comrade-in-arms, preparing themselves mentally for what they knew they had to do.
You can quite physically see the gears turning in their head. You see that they didn’t want to do it but they knew that if they didn’t they would be killed. Tremis had the capacity to slaughter their entire tribe, and he did, what possibly could be just a few more weak goblins?
D was unmistakably the most aggressive, or at least most psychotic one of the bunch. It did not take much time for the conclusion in his mind to come and he was ready to act upon it. His survival was put first, who gave a fuck about these weaklings that would only hold him back?
Goblin D reached down on the cold floor to grab a sharp-edged bit of stone rubble eventually finding one suitable to his needs. His left hand clutched it so hard that it left a shallow cut, some of his blood sticking to the rock. Goblin D’s hand visibly trembling, even if his mind was prepared that didn’t mean his subconscious was.
He slashed out towards Goblin A, who was nearest to him, immediately aiming to cut him in the throat. Goblin A tried to move his body as far away from the area of possible contact but the rock nicked him on the side of his throat. A small amount of blood gushed from the wound as Goblin A put his right hand up to cover it up.
Goblin A raised his left hand high above his head, aiming to land a hook on Goblin D’s right cheek.
D raised his right hand in a blocking manner to shield some of the force the blow was going to deliver. The blow crashed against his bicep leading to it briefly hit his cheek before bouncing back to its original position.
While A’s arm was still extended from the punch, Goblin D’s left hand was raised, switching the rock to be held in a reverse grip. He guided the rock down on Goblin A’s forearm, embedding it quite deeply into his arm. Numerous strands of muscle and nerves were pierced through. Goblin A understandably began to scream from this new type of pain never once experienced in his life.

Goblin D backed away a few steps as he looked at the rock that was stuck in the other’s arm. It was a weird look of both bewilderment from the damage he caused and disgust in himself for committing such actions.
But thinking about that was something that would have to happen later.
Goblin B who had been entirely unnoticed throughout the aggressive interaction could be seen within Goblin D’s peripheral vision, speeding towards him. He couldn’t turn around in time before Goblin B smacked his entire body into him, prompting them to both to collapse on the ground.
B was frantically trying to hold Goblin D’s frame still with whatever power he possessed. All four of his limbs were utilized to hold him down, his arms grabbing his wrists and pushing them down to the stone floor while his knees were placed on his thighs. Goblin D was struggling, attempting to quickly bring his arms up however they could only rise a measly several inches before giving out completely.
Goblin A ripped out the rock from his forearm after a few seconds of heaving to try and gather courage. He screeched more although the capability to seize revenge outweighed the pain he was undergoing.
He still held the rock in his right hand and looked down at Goblin D who was still struggling to get rid of the appendages that were holding him down. Goblin A swung his right leg back and kicked Goblin D’s temporal bone as he lied there, helpless.
The impact hit his skull like a ton of bricks, Goblin D could feel that some kind of fracture had occurred due to the amount of pain coming from the place he had struck. His brain hit the other side of his skull like a ping pong ball causing him to become nauseous. He could feel a warm, acidic substance threatening to come up his throat but with a large gulp, he kept it at bay.
A loud ringing overcame from primarily his right ear giving him a mind-numbing headache. The small amount of blood trailing out from his ear rolled to the back of his head, gathering up into a large droplet, and hitting the floor.
This is some nice entertainment, fuck I really could use some popcorn.
Goblin A was not done yet, not in the slightest. He pulled his leg back again and repeatedly struck D’s temporal bone, further worsening the injury. Goblin D’s head would swiftly change direction to his right and once his skull went back to the left even the tiniest bit, a foot would greet him. Blood spewed out of his ear in even more volume, amounts sticking to A’s foot and some splashing all over Goblin D’s head.
The ringing grew louder and louder, almost deafening, his brain was slowly gathering damage from smacking against the bones inside his skull with no resistance at all.
Goblin A had kicked so many times that even he was starting to feel exhausted. He breathed through his mouth in large amounts, looking down at his former comrade who was all bloodied. His eyes barely opened, looking into nothingness as his adam’s apple was violently moving up and down trying to not throw up.
Goblin A gripped the rock with both hands in a reverse grip in his moment of exhaustion, his grip not being the tightest but still able to hold the rock firmly.
Goblin D noticed that the kick had not come yet so he slowly moved his head to the left, trying to see whatever was happening. His eyes were very unfocused so he could only see a blurry image of something moving towards him at high speeds before…
‘KRRSH’
An even more unconventional sense of pain and hopelessness subdued Goblin D’s entire being. He squealed at the top of his lungs, he could feel his vocal cords accumulate damage from the severe overuse of them. For a few more instants, his outcries got more hoarse and grainy.
The pointed debris had pierced through the cornea, pupil, and lens of his left eye. Goblin A proceeded to hold the rock down into his eye, ensuring the wound was severe. Fortunately in D’s case, the edge was not large enough to penetrate through his eye and enter his cranial cavity though blindness was surely a result of his injury.
The impulse to clutch the area that was hurt overcame his body but no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t. His psychological state was slowly degrading. He started to cry although tears only came from his right eye while blood continued to leak from his left.
Goblin D became increasingly more insane from not being able to resist in this situation at all and just to be expected to take all of this treatment without retaliation. Finally, he snapped, the pain was gradually starting to be numb from the amount of adrenaline pumping through his veins.
With the absence of fear, his strength steadily progressed due to being uncaring of whatever else may occur to his body.
His whole body started to move around in an uncontrolled and wild nature. The rock that was still being held into his eye causing even more damage due to constantly being moved. Goblin B’s grip was starting to loosen from the amount of strength being needed to hold him down was being increased. Eventually, Goblin D’s right hand was able to wiggle free from the constricting grip that was barring his movement for minutes on end.
Without any hesitation, he clutched his hand into a fist and propelled it into the cheek of the green son of a bitch that was holding him down. The amount of force that he put behind the punch being so large that Goblin B’s head completely snapped in the opposite direction, causing him to release his grip.
Goblin A’s already exhausted body was struggling to keep the rock embedded into D’s eye during the entire situation. He eventually got distracted from Goblin B being punched and subsequently letting Goblin D loose. Immediately, his mind began to panic as Goblin D’s hands clasped around his, desperately trying to pull the rock out of his eye.
Irregularly clipped yet sharp nails were piercing through his skin, embedding themselves a moderate amount into the back of his hand. The small but constant prickling pain including the amount of force needed to keep his hand down was not mixing well, mixing as well as a horny stepbrother and a clueless step sister.
As expected, his hand was failing to go through and with one big shove, Goblin D had successfully removed the rock from his eye. Oh, but he knew he was so far from done.
I like this one, he reminds me of someone, I just can’t put my finger on it. Tre- Jeffrey Dahmer maybe? Ted Bundy is also a possibility. Fuck, just waking up fucking sucks so much.
Goblin D completely disregarded Goblin B, in his mind, A was the one who was the most vulnerable at this point and the fact that he caused the most pain to him was undeniable.
He was going to make sure he would experience the same type of pain, he assured himself of that.
Without even enough time to breathe, Goblin D had already pounced onto the exhausted body of his primary target, his hands grasping at each side of his skull. He made sure to place his thumbs right onto his exposed eyes. The saying did go, an eye for two eyes, didn't it?
Goblin A tried to raise his hands to fight back against the maniac that has gotten the upper hand over him. Although, as we all know, Goblin D would not let him get the chance to. His grip tightened as he brought A’s head closer to his body, then slammed it onto the hard stone floor.
‘KRUNCH’
“No.. move,” Goblin D struggled to say between his labored breaths, the exhaustion was finally starting to show itself after the amount of adrenaline in his bloodstream was starting to decrease.
Goblin A lied there practically motionless as blood pooled around the back of his head. Even with most of his thinking power absent, his hands still twitched and tried to make its way up.
“Said… no move!”
D screamed at the top of his lungs as he continued to bash his head into the floor continuously. A loud and sweet crunch could be heard after every impact, something that Tremis was growing to like, almost like a symphony composed of gruesome sounds.
For extra measure, he applied pressure to the soft, squishy objects known as eyeballs. He slowly started to push his thumbs into his eye socket, the feeling of him pushing the eyes further into his skull grossed him out slightly. As he pushed them in, his nails would press against the pupil, cutting it slightly.
“How feel! See.. how feel!”
Just as Goblin D was celebrating his sweet taste of revenge, Goblin B delivered a dropkick straight to the middle part of his neck. Goblin D was sent darting away from the suffering being that he was once on top of.
“GEEUUGH,” His windpipe was momentarily moved out of the place leading to a grotesque sound to unconsciously come from his mouth.
His body collapsed onto the stone floor next to the half-dead individual next to him. He hit the ground from his side, lessening the impact by a mediocre amount. Goblin D was struggling to breathe properly from his misaligned throat so he brought his hand up and quickly snapped it back into place. Taking a few quick breaths to make sure he did it correctly, although a little hampered it was still enough to last for a while before being a problem.
Goblin D snapped his head towards B which was a task in and of itself due to the neck muscles being strained from the hard impact that hit them only seconds ago. He strained his right eye to try and better determine both the distance and depth that Goblin B was at, which was becoming a massive problem.
Goblin B put his fists up as he yelled over to his comrade. “I am win! Give up or force to kill!”
Goblin D simply put his fists up slowly in response, his body moving side to side, not able to balance correctly due to his many injuries with varying severity. He looked at his opponent with a smug look whilst he opened his mouth.
“Force to kill? We kill other anyway, demon won’t let away unless one remain. You body under my heel soon, pitiful thing.”
Goblin B breathed out as his fists clutched even more tightly. “If has be, has be."
Meanwhile, as this intense scene was transpiring, Tremis was wandering around throughout entire cave system, trying to find some change of clothes. He had just realized that his pants were destroyed and his dick was hanging in the wind for all this time.
I swear to fucking god, I hate transformations! I swear to fucking me that I am going to find some clothes that don't rip after one transformation. Shit cunt cocksucker ass tits!
While he was walking down the irregular hallway of stone, he manifested red scales all over his right hand. Tremis tensed up his entire body, appearing before the wall that was to the left of him, and launching a punch with all his strength into the wall.
A large bowl-sized hole was forcefully carved into the stone due to this devastating blow.
He screamed at the top of his lungs, “FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!”
Welp, at least his normal self is back into action.
