Chapter-6: One-eyed Mask man

(POV of the second strongest sect master)

“It’s too strong… I can’t believe it has that much strength!”

I unconsciously screamed. When I heard my eternal rival’s sect was exterminated I came here to see the current situation. However, after coming here my entire being was shaken.

The sect which was nation’s number one was annihilated. There was no building standing tall, the garden, street, pond you can hardly recognize them which was once called heaven of our nation and to resemble with that title the name of this sect was “Tower of Eden”. But it is no more. The worst part is there was no life sign existed here.

After me many famous people of the nation came here, among them Crown Prince, Duke and Vice-Master of third strongest sect level characters were present. Few of them showing sorrow, few of them showing somewhat hidden happy face, but everyone including me feeling one similar complicated feeling, “if number one sect was annihilated like that what will happen to us in their shows.”

Nevertheless, we all stayed all night here to examine the situation of this sect. Among us, there are many people here out of greed to consume the leftover of this sect resource. Even if it is left over, it is enough to build a new first-class sect in this nation. Sigh, well even I had some greed on this sect’s resource before but currently, I am feeling somewhat complicated.

When morning came a huge problem occurred. A purple dragon appeared. We couldn’t even sense it that something like that thing was coming. Well, dragons are strongest species in this world, it can't help if we weren't able to detect it.

But crap… is that the one annihilated this sect? Then we are in big trouble.

We might not escape this even if we want to.

After some of our exchange against that dragon, I propose a plan to everyone in present. If we combine our power we might seal it for few moments and escape from here.

And our plan worked. We breathe a sigh of relief… but,

God damn it! Is it end for us, I screamed unconsciously,

“I can’t believe it. Even with that, we couldn’t seal it.”

It breathed fire. Crap that’s the strongest magic of a dragonkin which can melt even Iron in a minute.

We all were in despair and then that happened, the lady of Ice Lotus Sect, Rimy Winter became a masked man?

No way? Before death, I am seeing a cruel image.

That masked man touched the fire directly. Is that guy has a death wish?

But surprisingly all of the fire was vanishing into his palm… no not vanished that guy absorbed that fire!

“What-what just happened?”

I heard the voice of a familiar woman. When I follow the source I saw the face of a young lady from Ice Lotus Sect. Wait, she didn’t become that man? Somehow, I feel relief but… That mean, masked man somehow swapped the place with Rimy Winter and save her.

But to think that guy can counterfeit that fire breathe! He might be someone strong. But that guy crashed my ignorant face, I mean that guy just kick the dragon and buried it in the ground.

F*ck! Are you kidding me?! He just casually kicked a dragon to the ground!

When that guy came down to the ground, he was making some weird sign, a second after he finished it, a huge wood golem created from under his feet.

Wood golem grabs down the head of that dragon. On that wood golem’s torso had a wood dragon which wrapped around the purple dragon. Purple dragon lost its power and that masked did something with its blood which caused the dragon to puffed into smoke.

That guy turned around to face us for the first time. I noticed for the first time that the mask was one-eyed. Who is that man? And that wood golem magic, if this magic can take down purple dragon it is at least 10th tier magic which is almost unreachable to mortal human like us.

“You-Who are you? What trick did you use? Judging from your mana capacity you can never use that tier of magic. What magic item did you use? Whose henchman are you? Don’t tell me you guys are the reason who cause this riot?”

That arrogant and rude voice, that was from Duke Leyman! Damn it, that guy can’t see who he was talking to, and fuck! Don’t he know those who can use above 8th tier magic able to hide their mana capacity? If we make him angry he can do anything to us, even royal family doesn’t have the strength to defend a dragon how can you defeat the man who defeated the dragon?

“You guys are not worthy enough to give my name.”

A harsh voice came. It was from that masked man no doubt. I told you, you Duke Shit! Don’t make angry someone you don’t effort to defeat.

“You who do you think you are? You dare to be arrogant in my country! Don’t you know I am great Duke Leyman!”

That fool! He doesn’t know his limit. I hurriedly followed up,

“I apologized for our rudeness. We became muddle headed after that huge attack I hope you will overlook it.”

That guy looked at me. I can see his one eye which was into the hole of the mask, it was glowing red! I know in the south there are people with red eyes, but it is a different kind of red.

[*AN: MC changed his eye Rinnegan to Sharingan.]

“It doesn’t matter. Sometimes even dog bark when they see me that doesn’t mean I will kill that dog for that mare reason.”

Cold and harsh! I wonder this kind of character from our nation. I heard that residents of the nations from the west has some character that can solo a dragon. But rather than thinking about that I have to stop the fool who already running his mouth.

“How dare you to call me a dog! Do you think, you are slightly stronger than us you can say anything? Don’t underestimate the power of our nobility and nation!”

I could do nothing but facepalm! Is that guy gone senile after facing that dragon! Crap, it will be an international problem if that guy kills this fool here. I have to stop him.

That masked was staring at Duke Leyman. Hmm… Wait, Duke Leyman become speechless! What happened to him? As if he was hypnotized.

Suddenly Duke Leyman collapsed to the ground! No way, he is dead?… no, he is alive. But that guy just defeated Duke Leyman who was a tier under me only by staring!

“No worries, he is not dead. Now then every ladies and gentleman, I hope you guys leave from here. And yes before you leave, hand over everything you have looted.”

It was a naked threat. It was a good thing that I didn’t take anything from here. Sigh!

“Your Excellency, are you someone related to this sect?”

Rimy Winter from Ice Lotus Sect asked politely, yea that’s how you should ask.

“Yes, I had some past relationship. Too bad that, I was late… late to kill that first one.”

First one? I cannot help but ask,

“First one?”

“The first one means the dragon that attacked first.”

Okay crap! Purple Dragon wasn’t the one who attacked this sect. I felt cold sweat on my forehead, I was wise enough not too rude toward him. I mean f*ck! That guy defeat (or killed) two dragon that only one can destroy number one sect in our country.

Nodding toward him I started to retreat from this area by flying and following me all of the present ones started to retreat and crown prince was the one who carried that Duke Leyman.

“Wait!”

We looked at him.

“Didn’t I say leave here your looting resource. Including that Flame God Stone, Duke Leyman has stolen.”

Everyone got cold spine seeing his black patterns in red eye. That eye is a bad thing! Was that the one causing Duke to collapse?

All of the present humans started to take out the loot. Crown Prince was taking out the Flame God Stone from Duke Leyman’s space bag. We cannot help but show greed after seeing that stone. After all that stone worth is so much, that Duke Leyman! Stole that thing under our nose.

Wait! That guy sees through even space! Or he knew Duke Leyman stole that stone. Whatever, I just want to run away from here as soon as possible.
