Chapter-12: Problem...
“You want to go to the Royal Capital?”
My father asked me as if he wanted to confirm that he heard wrong or not.
“Yes. I want to meet grandfather.”
“That surprised me. You were never interested in visit Royal Capital. Is it related to your sect?”
He was asked me doubtfully.
“Yes, it is. I have to confirm something that few people like him only knows about.”
I didn't mention about Duke Lister. After all, that guy was my father's batchmate at Sirius Tomb even that guy was his rival. So if he knows that I attacked him my father will feel uneasy about it.
After hearing me, he started to write a letter. Upon finishing that he called a guard, that letter is for notification of my visit to grandfather.
“When do you want to go?”
I think sooner it is better.
“If possible I want to start journey tomorrow.”
He nodded. Then he acted like that he remembered something,
“By the way, as for your request, I already collect more than 50 slaves. All I need is sign the official papers.”
“I am sorry and thank you.”
I know it was a really big shame for my father that he had to deal with slaves who vowed to never buy any slaves. But because of me, he had to break that vow of his.
“Don’t worry about it. I know you will not abuse them. But even so, there is a problem.”
He said last part with a very serious face. Well, of course, the occurring of a problem involving slaves isn't that unexpected. Nevertheless, I can't act like it is not my problem because my father has the ability to deal with this kind of problem.

“What kind of problem?”
“It is really rare for buying more than 50 slaves at once even for people who abuse the slaves greatly. So if it gets known that we bought that much it will be not only affect us politically but also public morally. Well, I don’t care if I gain the bad reputation in noble’s eyes but I don’t want to crumble public’s trust on me.”
I didn’t consider that. Well, as a politician I am still immature, all I thought about increasing my own power and manpower, I didn’t think that far.
“So what should I do?”
I ask him because he is more experience than me in this field.
“For that, we have to take some measurements. First, we can never let this information come to the light. Second, we cannot let the slaves stay neither our mansion nor our city.”
Yea, that’s true if we do these two things there is a possibility that we can cover up the info. Hmm…
“But you didn’t say that we cannot let them stay in our territory.”
“Exactly. Do you know there’s a village used to be on east side of our territory?”
That village…
“That village was the same village that our ancestors used to live… You wanted to give me that village in under some pretext?”
He nodded.
“Yes. It is like that, you became dishearten when you learn that your sect has destroyed. Then you requested me to give you some land for your magic research because you wanted to forget about the tragedy and to help you with the daily life you bought twenty or so slaves, of course, other slaves will remain as a secret. And judging from your teleportation magic or something it’s really easy to transport remaining of them secretly.”

“Yeah, that easy for me. I think going royal capital this time also look reasonable, I will ask my maternal grandfather to land me fund for that because magic research requires money and that will also help to cover up the fact strongly.”
That is a really good plan, leave scheming to my father who is a politician. I asked him with hope,
“As for the first measure?”
Yes, there is also problem left. Even we can hide it from public eyes we cannot hide that from nobles because information will still leak from slave traders to noble and it will eventually publicize to peoples from nobles that mean second measures will not be effective if we cannot execute the first measure.
But my father gave a ruthless grin,
“As for first measure, of course, we have to silence all of the slave traders. Of course, you know how we should do that. I let you handle that. Make a plan and execute that. It will be educational for your future political stand.”
He meant ‘kill’. Yet not in a direct way.
“Okay, leave it to me.”

“Stay safe, don’t go anywhere other than royal capital. Come straight here.”
My mother was extremely worried about me.
“Come on, I am not a child, you know. I stayed at the academy for more than 8 years so you don’t have to worry.”
“That’s what I am talking about. I don’t want you to stay outside for a long time like last time. And your sect just destroyed by a dragon, what will happen if that dragon attacks you?”
I can’t help but laugh seeing my overprotecting mother.
“There is no way that dragon will come here just to kill a puny human(lol) like me. Okay, I swear by the name of Red Tiger Divine God I will come here straight after finishing my business.”
[AN: No not typo, I wrote Red Tiger Divine Beast before, this beast is from God race. So showing respect he mentions it as God.]
She made a reaction of giving up.
“Ah, okay. Give your grandfather my best regards. It’s been five years that I last saw him.”
“So why don’t you visit him sometime?”(MC)
“Nah, he will force her granddaughter on us again.”
Well, that is also one of the reasons I rarely went to see my maternal grandfather, even before falling in love with that woman.
“Oh well, I also have to be on guard about that. Then I am departing now goodbye.”
“Have a safe trip.”
Her worry mood activated again. Shrugging my shoulder I departed from our mansion.
Mr. Third Person: Isn’t that strange our MC calling her sweetheart as “That woman”? Does author have no naming sense so he couldn’t come up with one? Or our lazy author is actually twisting the plot… Well, we will know that soon enough what the secret behind that name is.
