Chapter-20: The Third Eye
[Editing Credit: NomMend. Thanx man!]
Teleporting into the Bandit’s lair with kamui, I glance around.
There is neither aura of strength or presence of nobility, something else.
I look around the entire hall room. There are at least 30 thuggish looking people here.
Some are talking with each other with a perverted laugh, some had their faces tinged red from intoxication, some gambled with cards, or were already passed out on the floor.
Unsurprisingly, there was a strong and slightly nauseating odor of vulgarity and grime.
A few seconds after arriving here, one of them notice me.
“The hell? What the hell are you doin’ ‘ere brat!?”
The guy stepped in front of me with suspicious eyes.
Well, I don’t have the time to converse with fools like them. My main body is waiting for me in the sect, so I’ll have to hurry. I harden my fist with earth style and dash toward him with incomprehensible speed, and before he even realized I moved, buried a punch in his abdomen, and told him before he collapsed,
“Oh, you don’t need to know what I want… all you need to understand is that you are my sacrifice.”
…
I was sitting crossed legged on the sect ruin. Behind is a tree that pierced the clouds… the so-called Divine Tree.
Surrounding me were more than 100 human bodies. Of course, all of them were alive but in critical condition. Moreover, most of them were still under the influence of genjutsu.
My clone collected them. Not a single one of these were innocent, with each one being wanted by the authorities of whichever area they came from. Bandits, murderers, rapist, thieves etc. Several of them have even been sentenced to death.
By the way, I don’t mind killing scum, in fact, that's how our world works.
I have 3 goals to complete now, awaken Rinne-Sharingan, enter perfect sage of the six path mode and the last one is creating the White Zetsu… of course, the men surrounding me will be the sacrifices from which the Zetsus are born.

“Now then, let’s get to work.”
I retrieve a stone from my Kamui space. Engraved into the flat side of the stone is an ancient word. This word is one of the legendary Runes. Although it’s one of the most powerful of Runes, it is unfortunately useless in the hands of mortals.
Slow-time Rune. An artifact that I found in the Head Master’s antic above his office.
It was still intact after the destruction of the sect, and upon finding it a new plan emerged in my mind.
Why was it deemed a defective rune?
The answer is that, to activate it, requires so much mana that if every member of the sect poured every last drop of mana into it, the rune would be activated for merely a few seconds, and cover only a few centimeters of range. So yeah, this thing is utterly useless for mortals. Though, what of Divine Beings?
The ten tails resides in me and provides infinite chakra, making me immortal like Kaguya. When using the rune, the range it covers is more than enough, but the problem is how long I can sustain it. It seems I cannot control it perfectly and can activate it for only a few minutes. That’s when I decided to attempt awakening the Rinne-Sharingan.
The only thing left is to devour the chakra fruit just as Kaguya did, or to imitate Madara who devoured the tree with (almost) full bloom Rinne-Sharingan flower and awaken Rinne-Sharingan.***
It’s already been a few hours since I started this process, the chakra fruit almost ripe to eat. Once it is ripe, I point my palm towards the fruit and use the attraction power of Rinnegan; it accelerates through the air into my hand.
I am aware that after eating this I will truly transcend the mental and physical limitations of the human race, and become something else entirely. Which sometimes creeps me out and makes me uncomfortable.
After hesitating for several moments, I consume the great power that would take my already nigh-godly power to even greater and more unfathomable heights.

And… a few seconds I was feeling a new light, new powers, and new sensation that overwhelmed me greatly despite my greatly enhanced cognitive ability.
I stood up and absorbed the divine tree into my body, leaving a few parts remaining for the making of White Zetsu.
And finally, I was able to erase the imperfections of my power and reach the pinnacle of perfection.
I was looking at my hand. It’s not the same greenish-whitish color as Obito or Madara, nor is it covered in scales. It was entirely a smooth pale white. The same as those surnamed Otsutsuki.
***
King Uther Pendragon gazed at the ceiling for a long time.
There was an obvious frown on his face.
He was reminiscing, again and again, on the conversation he had with his grandson.
He wasn’t thinking about the marriage talk. Because he knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. He was thinking about the photo Jin showed him.
A silhouette he knows overlapped with the man in the photo. He really didn’t put that much thought into it when he first saw the photo, but because of a nagging sensation in the back of his head, after thinking all day long about it, he was almost certain he knew the identity of the figure in the photo.
“If it really is him, it’ll make matters much worse.”
He muttered. He couldn’t believe his own mind at first, but he couldn’t completely deny it due to the recent troublesome events that happened around that man.
“I can’t believe the guy who was the most honest in his entire life, has gone down the path of a villain.”
As why he was sure of that, that guy was the same guy he’s always known. Because, first it was his Truth Serum which confirmed that, second that guy was once… no, still his best friend.
“Sigh… there is no way now I can tell Lancelot (Jin Tiger) about him.”
Saying that his eyes released killing intent.
“But I will stop you… for the sake of this world… for the sake of this nation… and for the sake of my own-self.”
[*Hello guys. It’s been a long time. Thank you for reading this broken novel of mine such a long time (only 20 chapters and I am saying a long time!). I know my English isn’t that edible and sadly I don’t have the way to check my chapters with pro editor, because there is no way to send them money for me internationally (actually there is a way but that’s royal pain believe me.). So, I am sorry there are many sentences you couldn’t understand because of that.]
[**Well, I didn’t mean to hiatus this novel for a long time. It was really long troublesome Real Life problem these days. The first thing is exam then went to see my grandmother who was sick and lastly I was involved in a road accident, because of injury I was 5 days in the hospital and 15 days or so in bed like a zombie. This chapter I wrote before my exam but couldn’t edit and post here because of that.]
[***Ok, the 3stars mark on the middle of the novel, I will explain one of my doubt. I will not say I am sure about my guess because it was never mentioned in anime and manga. But I will not say it is a theory. So I was always wondering despite having ten tails inside Hagoromo, Obito and Madara (in the first stage) why they don’t have Rinne-Sharingan. So I thought it involved with chakra fruit. Because after eating chakra fruit Kaguya awakens her Rinne-sharingan and Madara absorbed the bud about to bloom which was from chakra fruit and after that awake the Rinne-Sharingan. Or it might be something others entirely… but about the sake of PLOT, I put my thinking here to introduce you to slow time rune (and make sure to answer you why he cannot use that rune before.) But I want to hear opinions about this from you why they cannot use Rinne-Sharingan despite having ten tails inside them. Thank you.]
