Chapter 14
They discussed for a very long time, considered countless different techniques and training units until they agreed on the most basic.
This is the plan they created, all of those exercises will be done daily by them:
First they needed something, which trained a lot of muscles at the same time, but could at the same time be practiced without the help of modern weights and techniques. They had various exercises to select from and at the end they decided on the standard push-ups. At the beginning of their training they would make one set of push-ups, which consists of ten units. After the set they would pause for thirty second and then repeat the set. They were doing that until they couldn’t push their bodies up anymore, which would normally be way too dangerous for their young bodies, but with the help of the spring water and the leaves, their bodies would be able to sustain through this part of the training.
The second part of the training was picked mutually, as all of them though that it was the best out of the possibilities. It was running. Directly after they finished with the push-ups sessions, drank the water and ate some leaves, they would start running along the walls of the valley, round and round and round, endlessly. They would continue that until they couldn’t stand anymore. Then they would drink the water, eat some leaves and start the next part of the plan.
Which were sit-ups and squats, endlessly alternating between each other until the person exercising couldn’t go on anymore. Then they would once again drink the refreshing spring water, eat some leaves continue with the next part of the training.
The fourth part of the training was shadowboxing, which, as always gets repeated until the person exercising would almost collapse. Then the same procedure as always happened.

The fifth and next to last part of the training were the frog-jumps. At the start they would complete this exercise without any weight, but as soon as their bodies get stronger, they will start to carry stones as weight, to increase the potential.
The last exercise on their foundation plan was wrestling. They would stand opposite of each other in a marked area and try to push the other out of it.
That would train the control of their strength as well as improve the footing and movement of the persons exercising. Of course, they would, as always continue until no one can stand anymore and consume the water and leaves afterwards.
That was the complete training plan they put together, which took them roughly one day, as they discussed about a lot of different things.
After they finished planning they went to sleep. The next day would symbolize the start of their hellish training, which would continue until the improvements were slowing down.
The next morning, all five brothers started their training. As mentioned before, push-ups were the first exercise.
Dragon was able to complete thirteen sets of push-ups, before he collapsed.
Tiger was slightly better and completed fourteen sets.
Hawk was with struggles able to complete nine sets.
Snake steadily completed ten sets before he couldn’t go on anymore.
Turtle was the most pathetic, as he could, to his own anger, only complete five sets of push-ups.
The next step in their plan was running, at first without any weight. After the five brothers refreshed themselves with the spring water and leaves, they started the exercise.
Dragon was able to complete almost six rounds along the wall of the valley.
Tiger completed six rounds as well.
Hawk surprisingly had the most stamina and completed eight rounds.
Snake completed four rounds, as well as Turtle.
Then they rested, refreshed themselves and continued with the next part of the plan. This continued in an endless cycle.
Only the nights would be used for resting, as they soaked in the surprisingly warm water of the pond, meditated or just slept.
