《Royal Road Rumble》Match 3: Abomination vs. End Seeker

Once again people return to their seats chattering excitedly. In the center of the stadium the ring has been expanded to almost twice its original size. Shimmering transparent barriers flex and wobble like the surface of a bubble between the crowd and the newly expanded ring. The announcer's booth has been moved outside the bubble and among the crowd where a handful of bouncers keep the excited crowd back.
Randy, his eyes all but blazing with excitement stands with mic and hand as he shouts, "Is everyone excited for our next match!?" The crowd roars an affirmative loud enough to make the stadium shudder. "Well I don't blame you because our next match is going to be an Abomination Brawl!" This cheer is so loud as to be near deafening. "That's right folks we've got two of the biggest, nastiest, scariest monsters we could get a hold of and are going to make them fight it out in the ring for our amusement! If that's not exciting I don't know what is!"
The crowd roars its agreement for nearly a full minute, before finally allowing Randy to continue. "Our first monster of the night is a deadly black thing from between the folds of reality that thanks to the actions of some rather brainless cultist has crammed itself into the body of a little girl. She might look cute, but give her a chance and she'll gobble you up! Cower in fear of the adorable little fiend who has aptly named herself, The Abomination~!"
The organ music that began to play was immediately familiar to anyone who has ever experienced a Halloween. Dark shadows covered the stage in a mist as a small petite girl with raven black hair and an over-sized gray robe skips out onto the stage. She blinks her large dark brown eyes in surprise at the cheering crowd but smiles widely and happily to everyone. Some of the crowd laugh and chuckle as the girl begin to happily skip down the ramp to the stage as the organ continues to blare over the speakers. When she reaches the stage she pauses at the edge of the ring as two black tendrils so dark that they put even the darkness of vantablack to shame, seeming more holes in reality than matter, emerge from the girls hair and lift her effortlessly onto the ring where she waves with both hand to the entire crowd with the sunniest smile her face can manage.
"What a sweetie!" Randy coos, "But will she stay so sweet and innocent when confronted by her opponent? A terrible mismatched amalgamation of a monster! Bred over countless generations to be a god! A screaming raging beast of insanity seeking death! Brace yourselves folks, it's The End Seeker!"
A cold echo across the stage, slowly strings nervously fill the air growing in volume building slowly before cutting off. As they do a massive metal coffin fifteen feet tall drops from the ceiling and smashes into the stage. Almost as if having been waiting for this moment the strings pick back up, plucking notes accompanied by horns building as the coffin begins to shake and thrash. Claws the size of short swords pierce the metal tomb, tearing great gouges out of the container with contemptuous ease. All too quickly the beast inside begins to peel its way out, revealing massive bear arms studded with scales with saber-like claws. A wedged draconic head smashes its way out next, five eyes, two massive and owlish with a cluster of three beady insect eyes, its lipless mouth a constant snarl. The thing and music both utter a shriek creating a haunting atonal reverberation as the emerging monster oozes free of its container revealing its painfully anorexic build.

It scans the cheering crowd before its gaze locks on the ring, long bony spear tipped tail thrashing in obvious irritation. Its painfully thin canine legs bend with an almost audible creak before clearing the entire ramp and landing in the ring with a rumbling crash to rise slowly, tail still twitching, to its full towering height and unleashing another wailing atonal cry.
"A beast of and entrance by The End Seeker," Randy crows over the roar of the crowd, "and now that both of our monsters of the night are in the ring, it's time to start this, ROYAL ROAD RUMBLE!"
"I don't suppose there's any way we could be friends?" the child like abomination asked hopefully looking up at the beast three times her size without fear.
"Kill re." The giant rumbled back.
"But I don't want to kill you," the Abomination stated firmly placing her hands on her hips, "I want to get to know you."
"Hen know eery gogent I live is sushering." Contorting its mismatched body in painful looking ways End Seeker brings its unblinking eyes down to Abominations level, "Kill re."
"I get things might be hard for you but I'm sure you'll feel better with a friend," Abomination cheerily answered back, "Would you like a hug? Hugs always make me feel better."
Without waiting for an answer dozens of thick black tendrils emerged from the girl's hair and beneath her robes to wrap around the titan in the center of the ring and gently squeeze. There was a moment of silence before a single word was uttered. "Nohing." The next words were spoken with building frustration and despair, "Nohing! I heel nohing!" The tendrils tightened trying to make their hug felt. "Eery day, eery gogent ov vy terrivle existence I heel NOHING!" The straining tendrils made sounds like stressed steel as the continued to squeeze all the harder. "Vhy susher such hollow enty existence!? Vhy can't I end it!? End re! KILL RE!"
With a sound between tearing fabric and sheering steel End Seeker burst free of The Abomination's hug and back hands the girl hard enough that when she slams into the ropes she is sliced apart by them. Her half dozen severed pieces tumble out across the ground splattering black mess in their wake as her severed head blinks in confusion at the event.
"Looks like once again diplomacy has failed Randy," Terra stated sadly, "A commendable attempt by Abomination but looks like the fight is on."
"I don't know Terra, looks like Abomination has already fallen to pieces."
"Randy, do you think we'd give these fine folks a battle so one sided that it would end in a single blow?" Terra asked with a smirk.
As if responding to the woman's words more tendrils emerged from Abomination's shattered form wrapping around the many pieces of her broken body and pulling them back together with a snap. Raising up on a towering pillar of writhing darkness the girl glared into Seeker's maddened gaze, "That hurt you jerk!" With and ear splitting crack one of the strands of darkness lashed out striking Seeker across the face, a second snap sounds as the beast twitches and reveals the black limb locked in its jaws. The next instant the tendril is bitten in two and vanished down the monster's throat.
Abomination seemed shocked for a moment before seeming to fume as she shrieked, "Hey! You don't get to eat me! I'm the one who eats!"

Abomination hurls herself forwards and new tentacles begin to emerge by the dozens with a girlish shriek of anger as End Seeker cackled with gleeful madness throwing its arms wide and welcoming the attack. The hundreds of black ropes wrapped around the mismatched titan and began to twist, wrench, and crush with enough force to easily sheer through stone, steel, and flesh. Yet whatever End Seeker is made of seemed withstand the pressure and torsion with casual ease as a frustrated snarl escapes the enveloped creature.
"It looks like Abomination's grappling abilities might be second to none, but isn't doing much good against the unbreakable defense of End Seeker! End Seeker is starting to go on the offensive, will Abomination be able to withstand the immovable object's irresistible force?"
The spear headed tail twitched and then was simply lodged deep in Abomination's guts. The tiny girl grunts in confusion as the limb rips itself free and strikes her again. Dozens of new black masses burst from the wounds and try to restrain the weaponized limb, which distracted her from the over sized jaws that clamp down on her legs. With a shriek of frustration a half dozen tendrils jam themselves point first into the monster's eyes. The girl hisses angrily as she feels the eyes crack under the assault only to repair themselves in an instant. The effect on Seeker was odd, as suddenly the titan froze solid letting Abomination pull away and stitch herself back together, watching warily the suddenly stone still freak.
"Vhat vas hat?" it whispered tapping its claws against its eyes producing a sound like tapping crystal. "Vas it... sensation?" Its gaze snapped back to Abomination's form with such swiftness the girl flinched, "Again! Do it again!"
She does without hesitation, sending more pointed piece protuberances to pound piteously against the patient predator's peepers. She holds nothing back both out of desire to give the suffering beast some measure of release and out of a building worry that she wouldn't be able to keep this thing from consuming her if she fails. Yet even as the assault continued, frustration was clearly building in her foe's form.
"Nohing." it spoke with a voice full of defeat, "Hust a deskeerate drean." A tired sigh escaped the titanic form of Seeker before its entire form seemed to become filled with a deep fury, "Vorthless frey."
It's jaws snapped and a half dozen tendrils are bitten through, a swipe severed dozens more follow, then with a deep breath End Seeker unleashed a howl. To call the howl a sound would be a misnomer, the roar is a pounding continuous shock wave that hammers against the shimmering barriers and reverberate in a continuous rain of shattering sledge strikes upon all trapped within the cage. End Seeker withstands the blows without note, Abomination feels her bones shattering, her organs pulping, and her tendrils racing to repair the damage just to have it all destroyed again in a cycle of pure torment. Her own cry was lost in the roar as she passed out from the utter pain.
The roar ended and Seeker stomped forwards with a posture radiating rage. Abomination hangs limp for a second before snarling in a voice utterly alien from her usual childish voice, "*DESPICABLE MORTAL BRUTE.*" New tendrils emerged by the thousands slamming against the barriers, sliding across the ground, seeming to consume and fill the world in heartbeats, "*YOU TORMENT MY MORTAL SHELL IN SEARCH OF AN END? THEN KNOW YOU HAVE FOUND IT.*" Blackness enveloped End Seeker's form, lifted the titan into the air trapped within a ball of squirm and writhing darkness, "*BE CONSUMED AND BECOME NOTHING.*"
Abomination's mouth opens impossibly wide, flesh tearing and revealing yet more black flesh stretching to do little more than mimic the barest shape of human form as the monstrous form of End Seeker was drawn in. The captured beast manages to rip its head free of the enveloping mass and witnesses its destination. It throws its head back and laughs as it vanishes into the endless maw. A couple seconds later all that remained in the ring is a very normal looking girl with black hair looking around in confusion.
"Well that looks like the end of the match right there." Randy murmurs, his usual enthusiasm gone. "Quiet a brutal match that's for sure."
"I'm not quiet so certain Randy," Tessa states leaning forwards with interest, "People always seem to assume eating something is the end of things, it often isn't, especially for something as tough as End Seeker. I say we give it a ten count to escape and return to the ring."
The count began as everyone leans forwards with horrified excitement watching for any change on the oddly quiet and still child. As the count reaches six she suddenly bends double clutching her stomach. At seven she makes terrible painful hacking sounds. Before eight could be counted a towering bear claw studded with scales and wrapped in hissing gnawing darkness burst from her mouth. The crowd goes wild as it is soon joined by a second and Abomination's body is ripped in two as End Seeker re-emerges with a furious roar coated in black sludge that seemed to be trying to reduce it to nothing only to be rebuffed by hyper aggressive regeneration.
"I have, so little." Seeker snarled, "Ou no take vy frredom if it von't kill ve!"
Once more beyond black growths burst forth from the great gory gape where Abomination's torso use to be. This time instead of grappling the rampaging ruffian before them, they grip the stage and fling their form forwards in a high speed tackle. Seeker stumbles and with a few key strokes to the legs topple over where Abomination quickly scrambles top it. Hundreds of limber limbs try to dig into the ring for purchase, but are rebuffed and instead wrap around it as my burst forth in a constant tide further anchoring the violent villain to the ground.
"Oh I wasn't expecting this from a monster fight but it looks like Abomination going for a pin!" Randy is all but bouncing in his seat as he cries, "Count along with me everyone! ONE!"
"No!" Seeker cries. It struggles against its bond, tearing a few free but more keep spilling out to replace them.
"TWO!" The crowd continues.
A vicious snarl and the tail goes back to work, stabbing and slashing with fearful speed. Impaling girl and otherworldly limb a dozen times in under a second. Abomination's face contorts with pain but her grip doesn't falter.
"THREE!"
"NO, KILL V-" End Seeker begins before it vanishes from the stage leaving Abomination blinking in surprise.
The crowd goes wild and Abomination leaps to her feet waving happily to the crowd, bouncing around with childish glee at her win. She seems to try to say something before realizing her lingering injury and picking up her severed jaw off the ground and forcing it back on.
"What a brilliant reversal by Abomination Terri," Randy shouts over the crowd, "I gotta admit that I wasn't expecting this match to end in anything but a fatality but you never can guess what's going to happen in the ring."
"Indeed not Randy," Terra smiles as the little black haired girl seems to realize her clothes have been ruined and covers herself with black coils to serve as a replacement dress, "We'll have to see if this thread of unexpected upsets continues in our final match of the night. So enjoy your short break as we get ready for another, Royal Road Rumble after a word from our sponsors."

The White Rabbit: Book 2
In the Urillian Empire, the Empress Xandra rules three-quarters of the planet Xren from her home in the capital of the Earth Continent. Both the fire and water peoples have fallen under her might after a series of wars stretching back three centuries. Earth elves, under Xandra's rule, have spread throughout the planet and established colonies, and are, by all accounts, enjoying what seems to be a prosperous and happy existence. But not everyone in Uril is happy. The holy books speak of elves as the Chosen People of Thesis, tasked with guiding and protecting the lower races. For some people, this scripture has been interpreted to designate their life as one on the lowest rungs of society. Humans have been reduced to a slave class, and serve their elven masters under Xandra's rule, kept at bay by the constant fear of the dreaded Emerald Knight, and their own perceived weakness. Humans do not lead long lives, nor do they possess the wisdom, power, or magical acumen of their elven masters. But there is hope. A group of people have banded together to fight against Xandra, her Knight, and her empire. They call themselves the "Knights of Order" united under the principle idea that Xandra's reign has brought chaos unto Xren, and they wish to restore order. These Knights are led by a man named Xaxac Brigaddon, spoken of as a legend. They say that when the moons are full, some humans transform into powerful beasts. They say that Xaxac is the most powerful warrior on Xren, that in his youth he was enslaved and forced to fight other humans to the death in a bloodsport called "cage fighting", that he could not be touched and held the world championship title for three years running until he faked his own death and escaped his master to join the resistance. They say that he has friends in high places- noblemen, pirates, and the devil himself. They say that if you can find him, he can ferry you to freedom in places where the Earth Elves fear to tread. They say that he is immune to magical attack, and his eyes shine like the silver moon. They say that he is descended from Quizlivian Brigaddon, one of the humans who helped the demon Magnus escape a god. They say that if you want to walk the Path of Order, you should follow the White Rabbit.Come and watch the transformation from human boy to Knight of Order: The life and times of Xaxac OfAgalon OfLangil Brigaddon. Content Warning: This work is based on the real experiences of human trafficing survivors. Xaxac's origins are based on true events, and they are presented realisitcally; this includes but is not limited to: isolation, gaslighting, emotional and sexual abuse, and grooming tactics. This work is meant to hold a mirror up to society; it is based on the real of experiences of people who have experienced slavery and/or abuse. It is an adult work and probably should not be read by anyone under the age of 18. If you are a survivor of human trafficing and/or abuse, your feedback is welcome, but please do not read this if you think it may trigger your trauma. I did not write this with the intention of harming anyone, but rather to provide accurate representation for a group that does not normally get it in the hopes of changing the zeitgeist. I would like to see a world where more people understand what these experiences are like, so that real survivors do not have to deal with microagressions from an ignorant public. Reader discretion is advised. This book does not display these elements as heavily as book 1.
