Chapter 10 - Bluan Family's Dreadful Plan

The two youths that were part of the occurrence that happened inside the medium built man's shop were completely unaware of the incident happening. They are still casually strolling around the White Alyssum Market enjoying the revered gazes of the people around them. Though only one of them was really enjoying them.

The glum-looking Arthur secretly said in his mind, 'Three months from now... no, two months from now, all of you people will be looking high up to me!'

After finishing Arthur's self-pity, he suddenly remembered the reason that Rose Jade came with him, he turned to her head and said, "Didn't you said you were also here to buy something? Let's get to that first since we are just going around here." Arthur stopped for a moment and added: "I am also a person who doesn't enjoy people's gazes, it makes me uncomfortable." Unwillingness can be clearly seen on Arthur's face with that sentence. No one has ever not enjoyed the praise and admiration of others and these can be said the same to the thirteen-year-old Arthur.

Instead of chuckling and ridiculing Arthur's immature attitude towards the attention that she's getting, with her head lowered, she froze. That is because she didn't have something to buy in the first place, she took advantage of the moment that Arthur finally interacted with her earlier and at the spur of the moment, she hastily accompanied him without giving too much thought into it.

With her head still lowered, she casually said, "I... I forgot..." If Arthur Vermillion were to see the face of Rose Jade whose head was lowered, he would immediately see the bright streaks of red covering her cheeks which clearly showed how embarrassed she was. As a Fourth Stage Cleansing Marrow Body Strengthening Realm cultivator at the age of fourteen, almost everyone who has the same age as her were completely outstripped by Rose Jade, even older disciples of White Alyssum Martial Institute were also suppressed which resulted in her placid and serene personality. Only Arthur Vermillion can cause her mind to be turbulent which clearly shows how she deeply rooted Arthur is in her heart.

Facing Rose Jade white lie and the reaction she gave impacted Arthur Vermillion's heart with a thud. Numerous thoughts flashed through his head as he secretly said to himself: 'O Great Item Spirit, why have you not imparted me the ways on how to conquer a woman's heart...'

When Rose Jade regained a tiny bit of her composure, she snuck a glance at Arthur only to find him dazedly staring at her with thoughtful eyes. She instantly misunderstood it as him mocking her while imprinting the scene on his mind and said while pouting her lips: "Hmph hmph! You sure are loosey-goosey. You just offended the most eccentric and merciless man in the city, I am guessing that he threatened the people inside the store earlier to never speak of the matter that happened there. However, he does not let any person who has offended him pass so he would surely harm you a hundred times over! Hmph!"

The last words that Rose Jade said finally woke Arthur Vermillion up from his train of thoughts. He was well aware of the consequences of him offending the son of the Bluan Family Patriarch whose fame and strength is equal to his father or even better. After finally coming out of his desolate shell which prevented his growth for thirteen years, he couldn't be much more pleased with himself, however, pressure has always been the good friend of growth so for that reason, he is willing to offend even the king of the heavens just so his strength can rapidly grow.

If it was him in the past, he won't needlessly offend someone like Luke Bluan who has a very bad reputation in White Alyssum City.

Arthur held up his chin and thought for a bit before looking at the pouting Rose Jade and said in a humble tone, "Luke Bluan's cultivation has reached the early stage of Yellow Blood Realm, he won't take action against someone like me who is only at the Body Strengthening Realm, a Vigor Stage at that. He will most likely send Pao Bluan or someone whose strength is similar to him so there's no need to fret over this matter Senior Sister Rose Jade."

The confident words that Arthur said made Rose Jade's heart which was full of worries to suddenly calm down, as though she has been convinced by Arthur she let out a soft nod, "Mn..." It was also at this moment that she remembered the mocking gaze that Arthur released earlier so her cute and lovable expression instantly turned into slight anger and she pouted again, looking away from Arthur.

The sun slowly went down as the bustling people walking around the streets gradually dispersed.

A youth dressed blue casually walked through the hall with his arms behind his back. The surrounding guards that saw this youth dared not to stare for too long at this figure and their foreheads quickly dripped with cold sweat.

The youth suddenly slowed down his steps as he kneeled with one knee, his head facing downwards, "Luke Bluan greets Father"

In front of Luke Bluan is a middle-aged man whose expression was calm and indifferent. However, upon seeing the youth that came towards his direction it was immediately replaced by a warm and affectionate gaze that is visible to the eye.

This man was none other than the current Patriarch of the Bluan Family...

"Rise, my son, there's no need for such courtesy.", said Mue Bluan.

Luke Bluan immediately stood up and he looked up towards the figure of Mue Bluan. He paused for a moment but after some hesitation, he slowly said, "Father, its about the matter of destroying the Jade Family..."

Mue Bluan was surprised for a moment after hearing Luke Bluan mention about these plan of his. The matter of overthrowing the Jade Family was no secret to the upper echelons of the Bluan Family including his children, obviously, they are trying to keep this dreadful plan a secret. However, his eldest son, Luke Bluan, has always been indifferent when hearing this so he was surprised after he suddenly mentioned it.

"Continue."

The eyes of Luke Bluan shone an odd light and his aura suddenly became violent. The surrounding guards whose cultivation levels are higher than Luke Bluan still felt their entire bodies go numb from the aura Luke Bluan released, some of them even dripped with cold sweat. However, Luke Bluan had no plans on retracting this aura before he suddenly said, "I want that Rose Jade obediently crawl to my bed after it and I also want to add another victim..."

The aura he released suddenly became more fierce, before he suddenly continued, "I also want the Vermillion Family destroyed and that Arthur Vermillion crippled!"

The corners of Mue Bluan's mouth curled up while his eyebrows knitted, "Oh? The matter about Rose Jade is completely fine. Arthur Vermillion was completely unaware of the discussion of the duo, he was currently sitting on his room staring at the materials that he bought, a gleeful smile on his face.

Mue Bluan would soon realize in the future the consequences of plotting against Arthur Vermillion who has received heavenly knowledge of the Item Spirit.
