Let's start by introducing a few of the characters:
Valorie: female, leader of the group, has red hair, green eyes
Hex: male, the annoying and funny one, has brown hair, brown eyes
Hal: male, annoying and funny one #2, has brown hair, green eyes, a mustache
Hedwig: female, has pink hair, brown eyes, the one who shuts up the boys
Ghost: male wolf, white fur, innocent and cute-looking, but is aggressive
Now that you got the character's appearances, let the story begin...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Wake up!" Said Valorie, the leader of the group.
"Why so early?" Hal groaned and Hex nodded sleepily in agreement while Hedwig was still asleep.
"Well, because you guys need to get into the habit of waking up early, and we are going on a mission today, how can you forget that?" Valorie said in a strict tone.
"Sorry, we'll get up now." Said Hedwig, getting out of her bed. Once they ate breakfast, Valorie said, " Alright, I have this map to where the Arch-Illager is currently at, but we have to go through different areas, like the creeper woods."
Hex froze. Creepers, he thought. He had a bad experience with them and he never wanted to see or hear them again. A four-legged mob, and the way it hisses as it gets closer to you and explodes, just thinking about them sends shivers down his spine.
His best friend, Hal knew he was scared of creepers, and the whole group knew as well. "Hey bro, it's alright, we will protect you, you know that," Hal said, patting his back. " Thanks, guys." There was a silence, then Valorie broke it saying," What are we waiting for? Let's pick our weapons and start our mission!"
----{Later}----
Each warrior had their weapon of choice, Valorie had a heartstealer, which is a type of claymore, black wolf amour, and a twin bow. Hex had his daggers, phantom amour, and a phantom bow. Hal chose his hammer, witch amour, and a crossbow. Hedwig chose her firebrand, scale mail armor, and a trick bow. They've also decided to each bring an artifact. Once they were ready, they started to set off for their mission.

" First stop, creeper woods," Valorie said. "Hope that place doesn't have that many creepers as the name says." "Agreed," murmured Hex.
As they started to leave their camp, Valorie's wolf Ghost, followed them. "Hmmm, what are we going to do with you little guy?" Valorie asked her wolf. The wolf just sat there, waiting. "Maybe he can come with us and aid us in battle?" Hedwig suggested. "Do you like that idea Ghost?" The wolf nodded in response. "Ok then, it's been decided," Valorie said. "Let's go Ghost."
"Stay safe!" The heroes turned around and saw villagers waving at them.
"We will!" The warriors called back, and off they went.

Origin
A group of college students find the last known warship from the Imperium, which came to Earth and started civilisation millenia ago. They will have to repair the ship, launch it back to space and then decide what to do with it. Will they restore the empire? Explore the galaxy? Or get up to unspeakably hilarious hijinks..... This is my first work, so please comment and critique as much as possible. This work is being migrated from Webnovel to Royal Road cause RR has a muuuuch better text editor and formatting options. I aim to release five chapters a week unless this catches on. In which case I'm happy to increase the release schedule up to 2 chapters a day based on readership.

Stairway to Heaven
Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings, far too weak to survive amid the other extraterrestrials that lie dormant across the galaxies. Instead of physical altercations, they would rather engage in verbal abuse, breaking an individual's psyche as a hobby. They excel at deception and manipulation, far too interested in bringing their brothers and sisters down and reaching for the top of their self-made hierarchies. Beyond their questionable nature and moral compasses, they long to find meaning in their lives and put names to the feelings that drive each passing moment. They are insatiable—far too greedy for more knowledge and a supposed understanding of their lives. It's pitiable, really, the way they struggle to find themselves while ravaging their kind through petty wars and conflicts built off of misunderstanding. Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings. They created words and languages to fill the holes that lived inside their souls, desperate for ways to find meaning in their incredibly short lifespans. They'll waste their entire lives trying to find their so-called passions and reasons for living, acting as if they truly rule the way their lives go, supposed "controllers of their own destiny." Yet, they cannot evade the inevitable visit from death, who stands next to them, ticking the seconds down until their demise.

Empress' Evolution
The bright red light of the flames swallowed her vision but soon that red light transformed into a blue hue and she was dragged into that light. ‘What’s happening?’ It was too bright and she was forced to close her eyes, she was blinded — even though she was already dead. After being pulled into the light she began to feel annoyed as her skin was irritated by some kind of rough sand. By the time she opened her eyes. She could see the full view of the sky. It was blue and there were clouds scattered about. ‘Ugh, is this Hell?’ She stated as she rubbed her head with her fluffy and furry ‘hand’. ‘Furry?’ She looked at her ‘hands’ and her mouth opened wide. Her hands had become soft and fluffy paws of a white-furred beast with purple spots. ‘What the hell?’ She touched her face with her paws and confirmed that it too did not belong to a human. Below, she felt something was moving, she can tell as if it was another limb connected to her. ‘Don’t tell me!’ Turning her head around, she found a seven-inch tail sticking out behind. ‘Phew!’ She felt relieved that it wasn’t what she thought it was. “These soft and paws, this cuddly fluffy hair, this cute tail — ah shit, did I become a beast after my death or have I been dreaming of being human as a beast all this time? If it is the latter that is one long and realistic dream.” === [It’s the former, stupid *] === Said a woman’s voice from in her head. === As always thank you for reading, also the image in the cover is not mine, I found it on Pinterest and thought it was cool and suitable. All credits got to the illustrator. Also, this is a new type of story that I have not read about yet. Basically I am writing an evolution novel without prior knowledge so I don't really know what is considered cliche in this genre.
