Since I developed my [Dark Magic Attribute] i have gained insight on the world of magic.

Hence why I developed my own sort of magic, that is [Clone of Darkness].

This spell allows me to make a clone of me and shape it to whatever form I want to, as long I have a clear image in my head.

For example, I can shape it in the form of human, wolf, eagle etc...

For now, I am using it just for reconnaissance when I am resting, so I dont get attacked while my guard is down.

Also, whatever the clone sees, I see it to, which is very convenient. MP cost is also not very high.

[Progenitor Flames] is a skill I got after I LVL UP my [Dark Flames] to LVL 5 and essentially, it allows me to heal myself if I warp my body in those flames. Although it restores my HP, it doesnt restore my MP, but atleast it doesnt cost any MP.

Which you may say is OP, but the healing process of those is so slow, it is barely noticeable. But I can speed it up if I pour my MP into it, but it costs a lot.

Right now, I am standing before a ruin of some sorts, with weird characters written on them.

"Hmm, it reads "3rd Dragon King's Tomb."

Wait how can I read that ?!?

Well, not gonna complain, I take whats given to me.

Immediately after, I push the 100 meter door to open it and enter the tomb.

After I enter the tomb, the door immediately closes.

"Why did I know this was gonna happen..."

Anyway, I start to explore the ruins, I encounter many texts in Draconic talking about 3rd Dragon King's reign and feats. What I found interesting is that he single handidly battled and killed some sort of kraken, that was SS Rank Monster.

He was also a special breed of Frost Dragon, fitting for this ruin since it also cold as fuck. It is so cold I got [Cold Resistance] and [Ice Resistance] and LVL UP'd them to LVL 2.

Anyway, there some dragon skeletons, and I even saw some Dragon Undead, which was interesting, but I quickly send them back to the endless Darkness and got myself 2 LVL Up's.

After maybe 5 hours of exploration, I found another big door that was 150 meters in height, with a strange crystal ball that was floating right in front of the same door, right in the center of the room.

There were some strange symbols written on it, which I couldn't understand. It seems its not written in Draconic.

I asked the system, and it suggested me to pour a little bit of my mana into the ball, since even it didn't know what that may be, since it wasn't recorded in "The System" archive.

Since I had nothing to do, I placed my hand onto the ball and pour my mana into the ball.

Immediately after that, I feel strong pain inside my head, like no pain I have ever felt.

Knowing that the pain is coming from that ball, I try to remove my hand from it, only to see that that ball used my own mana that I poured i to it to bind my hand on it.

As the feeling of pain got stronger and stronger, I also knew that if I bring myself to fail uncounscious, that I will die, so whenever the pain got stronger, my determination got more stronger.

I don't know how many hours passed, or was it days... I don't know how but out of nowhere pain finally stopped and that ball flew from the pillar it was on and flew right towards my chest.

Immediately it started breaking through my skin and my bones ,the lain was unimaginably bad that I got a new resistance [Pain Resistance] and it leveled up to LVL 6. Also during my mental battle, I also got [Mental Resistance] and it leveled to MAX

After it started tearing through my skin and destroying the surrounding skin and scales too, the ball started moving towards the center of my chest.

The pain was so unimaginable, I don't know how I didn't die from it.

After some seconds of the pain the ball was at the center of my chest and it started disappearing, slowly restoring my skin but it was now different.

From the ball, multiple tree-like roots are shown advancing from the ball, growing thinner farther they get from the drawing, until they are no more after reaching half a distance between the circle and hands, my head, and my legs.

But why was it so damn hard, and yes, why was it FUCKING PAINFUL.
