There is no mistake...That was the roar of a demon beast, but how did Kai-chan....

“Kai-chan where are you going!?!” (Eliz)

“Divine step!”(Kai)

“Eh?……KAI-CHAN!!!!!!”(Eliz)

T-that was an original skill… how did he?! Where did he learn such skill??? It’s impossible for a child at his age, unless…

No what am I thinking?! Kai-chan is my precious child! No matter what I will support him till the very end!

To clear her mind Eliz clapped herself on the cheek and finally after a few second she was ready to move on.

“Wind manipulation!” (Eliz)

As Eliz finish her line a gust of wind began to gather around her feet and launched her fast toward the forest of the black panther tribe.

After many years of being an Adventurer Eliz has heard all kind of roar from high to low level monsters, but there is only 1 kind of roar the she can never forget, the roar of a Demon beast…After all Val and herself almost died from fighting against one.

All demon beast has 1 thing in common, they all have a red crystal located somewhere on their body which is also their one and only weakness.

The red crystal or demon crystal was created by the demon race, when a living being swallow the crystal, it will first lost its mind and then began to slaughter everything in its path mindlessly, as the creature slowly level up the demon crystal will eventually consumes its mind and turn it into a demon beast...The ultimate killing machine of the demon race.

“HELP! ANYONE PLEASE!” (???)

A familiar voice can be heard as Eliz was moving toward the forest of the black panther tribe.

(Who?...)

As she get closer to the forest the figure of a woman slowly come to sight.

“ANNA?!?”(Eliz)

But Anna wasn’t alone, There were two unknown creature right behind her, one being a shadow wolf and the other is a fire panther.

Without hesitation Eliz send out 2 invisible wind blade and cut them both in half.

(What is she doing here?!? Where is Dasti?…)

“Eliz?…” (Anna)

Anna was about to fall as she called out for Eliz, but she didn’t hit the ground since Eliz caught her mid way with her wind manipulation.

“Anna?! What happened? Why are you out here all alone?! More importa-”(Eliz)

Eliz couldn’t finish her line as Anna grabbed onto her arms and looked at her with a painful expression.

“Eliz...Please save my village*sobs* Please Eliz! I-i...beg of you!” (Anna)

“C-calm down Anna, first tell me what happened.”(Eliz)

“No...It will be too late by then…”(Anna)

(First the demon beast then Kai-chan...Now even Anna…What is even going on?! )

“Eliz…”(Anna)

“I got it...Let’s go back to your village for now.”(Eliz)

“Uhm…”(Anna)

“GROOAAAARRRRRRRR”(Kuma-chan)

“!!?!!!!”

I must hurry...

The closer they get to the village, the more monsters seems to appear out of nowhere and began to attack them but it wasn’t a big deal for Eliz at all, since the monster were instantly cut in half by her wind blades whenever they try to get close to them.

(These monsters… They haven’t eaten anything for days, I am afraid that there is only one explanation for why they are gathering together in one place…)

Slowly the image of the village come to sight...

Anna was glad to see her village again but it was different for Eliz, since she could smelled the smell of blood flowing in the air, soon enough Anna was forced to face the harsh reality as they get closer to the village…

“No...t-this can’t be right...RIGHT? ELIZ?!?THIS CAN’T BE RIGHT!”(Anna)

“....”

“Please...Eliz *sobs please tell me that we got the wrong place…”(Anna)

(Anna…)

“I am sorry... An-”(Eliz)

“FIRE LANCE!” (Kai)

(That voice! Kai-chan!?)

“GROOOOAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!”(Kuma-chan desuu~)

(I must hurry!)

“ELIZ! PLEASE DON’T LEAVE ME!!” (Anna)

Anna hold onto Eliz’s cloth tightly as Eliz was trying to move.

“Don’t worry Anna, you are under my spell’s protection, you are safe as long you remain in here.”(Eliz)

“NO!!!! PLEASE ELIZ…*sobs* Please don’t leave me alone...E-everyone…Everyone has died in there *sobs*I DON’T WANT YOU TO DIE AS WELL!” (Anna)

“……”

Sorry Anna…But I can’t simply ignore my child…

“Sorry…”(Eliz)

Eliz pulled her cloth off and began to move toward the battlefield as she heard Anna calling out for her from behind.

(Please be safe, Kai-chan!)

“With this... No one else will get hurt…”(Kai)

(K-kai chan??)

“I-i am sorr..ry everyon-” (Kai)

The figure of Kai and the corpse of a demon beast can be seen around 15 meters from where Eliz stands.

Without any hesitation Eliz rushed toward where Kai is, as his body fell on the ground.

“Kai-chan!!Wake up!! Kai-chan!!”

(This is not going anywhere!)

“HEALING WIND!” (Eliz)

A soft green glow appears on Eliz’s hands as she finish her words.

All the cuts on Kai’s body slowly began to close thanks to Eliz’s healing wind, but he has yet to gain his consciousness…

“Oi...Eliz…What is he?……”(?????)

A familiar voice came out of nowhere as Eliz keep healing Kai hoping that he would wake up as she does.

“Dasti…W-what do you mean?…No more importantly! let me heal you first” (Eliz)

“Ah...That would be nice…”(Dasti)

Right now Dasti is lying inside a collapsed building nearby, It looks like that he was send flying toward it since everything ended up collapsing onto him. Luckily enough only his right leg were crushed from the incident, together with some broken rib bones.

Slowly and gently Eliz removed everything away from Dasti’s body with her Wind manipulation as she immediately began to heal him.

“Healing wind…” (Eliz)

“I saw everything…. That kid…He is not ordinary…” (Dasti)

Dasti said it as he turned his head toward Kai who is lying behind Eliz.

“....”

“I want you to keep it as a secret…For now...”(Eliz)

“Got it...But first tell me wha-”(Dasti)

“I DON’T KNOW!”(Eliz)

Eliz cover her mouth as she realized that she just lost her cool in front of Dasti…

“I am supposed to be his mother, to be the one who is closest to him...Yet I didn't knew a single thing, I-i am a failure as a parent…”

Eliz ended her line with a bitter face.

“Eliz…” (Dasti)

Ever since birth Kai-chan has always been a very quiet child… I mean every child would cry now and then, right?! But Kai-chan was different…He never cried... If he needed anything he would simply point directly at the object or took it himself...As if he understand what everything was…As if...as if he has been in this world before…W-what am I saying, I am not making any sense…

Eh? tears?

Why won’t it stop?!

“Eliz?!” (Dasti)

“Sorry...It’s nothing…”(Eliz)

“Eliz!! Are yo-! Dear!?!”(Anna)

“Anna! How did yo” (Dasti)

Anna rushed forward and hugged her husband as tears keep falling onto her cheek.

“I-i thought I would never see you again *sobs* You dummy!! How could you just sent me away like that?!?” (Anna)

“I am sorry…”(Dasti)

Slowly Dasti lay his hand on Anna’s head and let out a sigh of relief.

Eliz saw the scene and smile at the couple, but as she turned back to Kai, her face changed into a painful one.

4 days has passed since then, Dasti and his wife is now living together with the Lionel tribe...After a long funeral for their people Dasti and Anna was finally being able to move on, but there is still no sign of Kai waking up…

*sobs sobs*

(Kai-chan… Please don’t leave mommy again… I-i promise that I will be a good parent! So please come back to us, Kai-chan!)

Right now Eliz is looking down while sitting on the side of Kai’s bed as her tears keep falling onto Kai’s right hand.

“Mo-m?…”(Kai)

“K-kai-chan?!!”(Eliz)

As Kai gained back his consciousness, Eliz immediately reached out and hugged him while her tears keep falling onto her cheek.

“I-i am sorry mom…”(Kai)

Kai said it with a bitter face as he began to clench his fist together.

“It was my fault...T-they died because of me!”(Kai)

“Eh?”(Eliz)
