《Sirius: Evolution of A Star》Chapter 0008- Unification Arc#5: Wolf killing Wolves

[The wolf will detect the scent of rocks from you]
[Unless you directly confront him, you won't be found out]
Hearing that, Sirius followed the wolf from behind. The path was packed with stones. The deer's body emanated a coarse sound as it got dragged by the wolf. It left a trail of blood behind.
Soon, the wolf arrived near a cave. The cave had a small opening over 5 feet tall.
The wolf entered the cave and released the corpse, which he was pinning down with his sharp fang.
The inside of the cave was spacious and filled with bones of other prey.
Sirius spotted the wolf entering the cave and entered it. The stones that made up his arms and wings scattered to the ground. Rather than entering the cave directly and risking the chance of getting discovered, he scouted the cave from underground.
He could pass through objects, so he entered below the ground and headed near the cave.
[Sense of sound temporary increased by 1]
Sound traveled faster and better in solid than air. Hence, when he went underground, his Sense of sound intensified.
After entering the cave, he peeked a bit. He lifted his eyes and a quarter of his body above the ground, but to his surprise, he saw the wolf's tail.
"Shit!" he panicked but then realized the wolf was asleep with its body curled up.
He took a sigh of relief, flew out of the ground, and scouted around.
On one side, the deer's corpse, along with countless leftover bones of other animals.
On the other side, there was a pool of blood. Along with the pool of blood, there were corpses, but not of any other animals but wolves. Black hounds, along with grey wolves, their corpse were piled up.
"Wow, the wolf is planning for a sacrificial evolution,"
He felt a sudden chill as his senses tingled; he looked back and saw the wolf fiercely gazing at him.
Acting swiftly, he entered underground,
Howl!
The wolf backed down when he saw Sirius entering the ground. Sniffing with his nose, the wolf dug the place where Sirius had entered.
Finding nothing, the wolf left the cave and scouted around.
Peeking overground with his eyes above the surface, Sirius looked around. Seeing the wolf left the cave, he got out.

"Why did that wolf suddenly wake up?"
He pondered while leaving the cave.
Howlllllllllllllllllllllll!
Serius heard a series of howls, a bit far from the cave, dry land. The parched ground was saturated with dead trees, black giants timbers, and far from there were giant hills. The wolves ruled the hills. It was their territory.
Ten wolves rushed down the mountain. 2 of them had purple fur and a small horn on their forehead.
Their latter wolves had light blue fur and golden slit eyes.
In a pack, they circled the blue wolf.
Sirius observed from afar, with his half body underground and a half over the surface.
"The ones with the horns must be the ones leading them,"
"Wolfs are prideful species. A higher alpha sent them to kill the lone wolf, but doing such a task must have hurt their pride."
When the universe was first formed, there was no life present on it. The very early begins he saw were Angels, Angels who sought to get near him and disappeared.
Then the monsters were born—various types of monsters. Having nothing else to do, Sirius observed them and had a vast knowledge about them.
The horned wolf glared with an indifferent expression. The blue wolves attacked in sync, their shape claws surrounded by wind, fangs visible from the outside. They struck, the lone fought back, being outnumbered it took some severe hits. The wolves' maws penetrated its skin, body injured by their claws, but the lone wolf howled as he sank his fangs and ripped out a wolf's head. Used his claws to penetrate his opponents, dodging and striking, fighting desperately, the wolf survived.
After a while, only three wolves remained, the lone wolf and the horned wolf; the lone wolf's fur was covered in blood, injured yet no sign of backing down he charged forward,
The horn of the wolves glowed, they opened their mouths, and steam of water flowed out, twisting its body. The lone wolf dodged, the water changed its direction and struck the lone wolf, sinking its claws in the ground. The wolf resisted the water pressure; the blood surrounding his body washed away, as his wounded got covered in ice, the enclosed temperature fell, the water froze,
The horned wolves charged forward, the lone wolf's eyes got whiter as icy stream left his body rapidly, the steam accumulated in air and formed eight small ice cycles.

The ice cycles flew swiftly and penetrated the two lone wolves causing their demise,
Before letting out a roar of victory, the lone wolf lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground.
Sirius, who watched from far, got out of the ground after seeing the wolf lose consciousness.
"To think it won against ten wolves, amazing."
"The wounds are healing rapidly. It won't die. It will become even stronger."
After collecting some stones, he remade his hands. Leaving the wolf in the dry land would have been dangerous, as other wolves could arrive and kill it. So he carried the wolf back to the cave.
Hummmm!
He used all his strength to lift the wolf but failed.
"It's heavy!", again he tried but failed.
Unable to carry it, he dragged the wolf, but dragging the wolf in such a rough land seemed like a bad idea.
"I Know."
He let go of his stone's hands, went near the land. Some soil flew out and took the shape of two hands.
"Hehe, the stones are not only the only things I could use,"
"if I can make any shape I want, then….."
His hands made up of soil merged with the soil in the ground. The land near the wolf's body took the form of a wooden plank.
[Vessel Control Leveled Up]
He could not lift the plank along with the wolf but could drag the plank without harming the wolf.
The cave was not that far, so they arrived there after some minutes,
He let go of the plank, and it turned into direct dust.
After reflecting for a while, Sirius left. Seeing other beings struggle every day for survival had made him appreciate the peaceful life as a star. Now that he witnessed a battle, he realized now even he would have to fight and expand his domain. He also realized now was not the time to subdue the wolf.
So he left to get stronger,
Drifting in the air, he arrived at a meadow. The meadow was the homeland for the rabbits. The flowers that made up his domain were still far from here. The scent of the flowers also did not have much effect on the rabbits.
To expand his domain, he needs to subdue more races.
"How can I subdue the rabbits,"
The rabbits prayed on hays and vegetation.
"The way to a beast's heart is through his stomach."
“Grow things for the rabbits to eat.”
The previously planted flowers had altered under his light, but the thing was even the flower he did not grow himself were also mutated.
He tested his theory.
He went on top of the meadow,
Underneath, he could see many vegetable plants such as potatoes, carrots, and many other unknown fruits.
"Flash,"
He glowed. The area his light covered was around 20 square meters. The rabbits left the area as the light was too bright for their eyes.
After some time, the colors of the plants changed; the grass grew around 1 inch more. The green leaves turned bright yellow,
He remained that way for a day.
[Flash Leveled Up]
[You have been granted 1 Exp for Domain Evolution]
"Hehe, even this way, I could expand."
The previous green plants had now been multicolored. Red leaves, golden grass, blue fruits surrounded the field.
In the large meadow now, there was a small field that evolved under Sirius's influence.
The rabbits gathered but hesitated to enter.
Sirius went down and plucked a purple fruit. He went near the rabbits; the rabbits backed down a bit but did not run.
They blankly stared at him,
In gently lifted his hands and placed the fruit near a rabbit’s mouth,
Engulfed by the sweet aroma of the fruit, the rabbit bit it. The rich flavor made the rabbit keep biting.
Seeing this, the rest of the rabbits did not hesitate and entered inside.
"Mission Successful!"
But he did not stop. The rabbit field was huge, and the area he made his domain was just a small part of it.
So, he went around used his light to mutate even more plants. It took days, but after a while, the entire meadow was now his domain.

Beware of typos and lack of creative descriptions — my main priority is to get the story out over writing quality. Still, I hope you enjoy the story. Updates are sporadic, but I aim to release a chapter (~2000-3000 words) at least once a week. Average release time is 1 chapter/3 days. I took inspiration from the lore of the MMO, Dungeon Fighter Online (Dungeon & Fighter), and there may be easter eggs or references to the game, but the story and characters have become wholly original and standalone.
