Chapter 5- Academy

Naruto woke up from his sleep as he noticed a presence outside of his mansion. Naruto rubbed his eyes as he yawned and looked towards the man who disturbed his sleep. The man wore ANBU clothing and a mask.

“You have been summoned by the Hokage, please be there immediately” informed the ANBU. Naruto was thinking why the Hokage would summon him this early in the morning. ‘Must be him wanting me to go to the Academy’ Naruto thought as he put on his clothes. Naruto used his new crow shunshin to arrive quickly.

--Hokage’s Office--

It can be seen that Hiruzen made 2 shadow clones of himself to work on paperworks, while the original read Icha Icha Paradise. Hiruzen noticed that there was a flock of crow cawing and as the crows disappeared ,it revealed Naruto with brand new traditional black shirt with the Otsutsuki clan symbol in the back and black pants with combat boots.

‘I have never seen that type of shunshin before’ thought Hiruzen.

“Ah Naruto I’m glad you got here fast, I’m thinking of putting you into the Academy and make you an official shinobi of this village. As you know there are 4 ranks in a shinobi village. Genin, Chuunin, Jounin, and finally Kage” Hiruzen said as Naruto faintly nodded.

“But aren’t the Academy students already graduating at this time of the year?” Naruto asked as he tilted his head in confusion. Hiruzen simply smiled.

“And you know that I am beyond a Genin shinobi” Naruto sighed as he didn’t want to rise up in ranks slowly.

“Well… the civilian council wouldn’t want you to skip ranks and become a Jounin already, now would they? Hiruzen rhetorically asked Naruto in amusement.

“Fine you win” Naruto pouted and Hiruzen nodded in approval.

“As the Hokage, I can pull strings and let you in as long as you know the 3 Academy jutsus, which being Kawarimi no Jutsu, Bunshin Jutsu and Henge no Jutsu.” Hiruzen said and Naruto replied with a smug face.

‘Hah I created S rank jutsus, and they just need me to use 3 E class jutsus’ Naruto laughed inside his head. ‘This will be too easy’.

--Academy--

“Okay class there will be a new student joining us today, his name is Naruto Otsutsuki, formerly known as Naruto Uzumaki.” informed a man who had a scar across his nose, with hair styled in a ponytail and wore a chunin vest with black pants with bandages around his right thigh with a holster and sandals. This was Iruka Umino, the teacher of this class. Naruto entered the room and gave a smile to everyone as the girls giggled and blush like a fangirl and the men cursing him.

‘Hoh this will be interesting this class has all of the clan heir,including the last Uchiha, Aburame, Nara, Akimichi, Hyuuga, Inuzuka, Yamanaka, and some of the children of the civilian council.’ Naruto thought as he raised an eyebrow in interest.

“But sensei how come this guy can just come on graduation day?” whined Kiba, the Inuzuka clan heir. This proved a valid point to everyone in the class and some nodded sharing the same belief as Kiba.

“Well Kiba it was due to the order of the Hokage.” Iruka forced a smile to Kiba. Iruka was ordered to take Naruto into his class, but he can only graduate if he passed the necessary requirements. The first test was a written exam. For Naruto this was easy, he took lessons from Kurama herself. Naruto noticed the questions were Chunin level questions, ‘Must be someone wanting me to fail’ Naruto thought with a grin. Naruto was indeed correct in his hypothesis, Mizuki wanted to fail Naruto and use him to steal a scroll with forbidden jutsus of Konoha.

“The second test will be a taijutsu spar with Mizuki and I” Iruka informed his class and everyone nodded. The clan heirs easily passed and the civilian students had a hard time as they didn’t have the training that the clan heir had at a young age. “Otsutsuki Naruto” stated Iruka and Naruto nodded and went to the stage. “Naruto will be fighting Mizuki, Hajime”

Naruto quickly used the stance for his Zettai Ken, while Mizuki was trying his best to ‘fight’ Naruto. Naruto was easily dodging Mizuki’s hits enraging Mizuki. Naruto was grinning as he played with Mizuki. Naruto, noticing Mizuki was about to use a jutsu, Naruto decided to end it with one attack. “Zettai Ken: Okotta Hotoke(Absolute Fist:Enraged Buddha)” Naruto muttered quietly as red aura was seen on Naruto’s fist as he slammed Mizuki on the stomach. Naruto holded back and only used .001% of his strength to make Mizuki crash in the wall and faint.

“S-shoha Naruto” Iruka declared the winner. The girls were aweing at the strength of Naruto and even Sasuke’s eyes were widened as he thought ‘H-he’s strong… maybe he can help me get answers from Itachi’ (AN: Sasuke won’t be an avenger) The boys were annoyed that the girls were fangirling Naruto and a certain Nara thought it was troublesome. Next was shuriken and kunai throwing. Most of the clan heirs scored 6, 7, or 8 out of 10 and the most impressive of them was Sasuke Uchiha scoring 9 out of 10 for both shuriken and kunai throwing. Sasuke was grumbling about not being as good as Itachi and sighed. Finally it was Naruto’s turn, he merely closed his eyes and the civilian students thought he was arrogant thinking he can hit the targets blindly. Naruto put the shuriken and kunai in between his fingers and threw them. It exactly hitted the head and the heart and Naruto scored a perfect 10 out of 10, making the fangirls yell a ‘Kyaa’.

“Is there anyone in here that can perform elemental jutsus?” Iruka asked as Naruto and Sasuke raised his hand. Sasuke looked at Naruto with shock and Naruto merely gave him a foxy grin. “Please demonstrate Sasuke” Iruka said as Sasuke nodded and went to the stage. Sasuke’s hands went through the hand seals of Boar, Horse, and Tiger then Sasuke released his technique as he yelled “Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!”(Great Fireball Technique). Sasuke shot the technique to a nearby wall, leaving a crater. Sasuke grinned with pride as he looked towards the class. Naruto also went to demonstrate one of his technique. He leaped down to the stage and looked smug . Naruto used the hand seals: Rat, Ox, Dog, Horse, Monkey, Boar and Tiger. Although Naruto didn’t need to use hand seals for his jutsus, it was not the time to show off his real skills just yet. “Katon: Gōka Messhihitsu(Majestic Fire Destruction) yelled Naruto. Naruto released a massive amount of intense white fire in a cone shape, demolishing 100 feet of its direction as. Everyone’s jaw literally hit the floor as they widened their eyes. ‘If only they know that if I went all out with this jutsu, everything for tens of miles will be destroyed without a doubt’ Naruto mentally grinned. ‘And this is just one of my weaker jutsus in my arsenal’. They couldn’t believe someone their age could use such a high ranking and destructive jutsu. ‘Such high amount of chakra’ Iruka thought. As a Chunin, Iruka knew more about the amount of chakra needed for that jutsu and it shocked him dearly.

“I-impressive Naruto, you pass as well” Iruka nervously laughed trying to maintain what dignity he has left as a teacher.

“Naruto Otsutsuki please use Kawarimi no Jutsu” Iruka ordered Naruto and Naruto replied with a nod. With a puff of smoke, Naruto replaced his body with a chair. Iruka nodded in approval and said “Now Henge no Jutsu” With also a puff of smoke, Naruto transformed perfectly into Madara Uchiha and sent shivers down to Iruka and the academy students alike. Naruto mentally laughed at the sight of fear from the students.

“P.. perfect Naruto, finally the Bunshin no Jutsu” Iruka said as he stuttered. Naruto shook his head and asked Iruka “Sensei is it okay if I use a different type of Bunshin?” Iruka looked hesitant, but faintly nodded. Naruto placed his fingers in a clone seal and quietly muttered “Kage Bunshin no Jutsu”. There revealed 10 solid clones of Naruto with their arms crossed and smug faces. Iruka was shocked that an academy student was able to use a kinjutsu that was meant for Jounin shinobis. Iruka sighed and thought ‘I have to ask Hokage-sama about this’

Iruka gave forehead protectors to those who passed and was happy that most of his students graduated without a problem, especially Naruto. Naruto was one monster to use an A rank Jutsu and B-Rank Bunshin no Jutsu. Before the students left, Iruka said “Before you leave, I will announce your teams.”

“Team 7 will consist of Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sasuke, and Sai, your sensei will be Kakashi Hatake” Sakura was yelling about it was fate for them to be together in a team and Ino just grunted.

“Team 8 will consist of Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, and Kiba Inuzuka, your sensei will be Kurenai Yuhi.

“Team 10 will consist of Choji Akimichi, Shikamaru Nara, Ino Yamanaka, your sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi.”

“Troublesome” Shikamaru quietly muttered.

“Lastly Team 11 (Team Guy) will consist of Neji Hyuga, Rock Lee, and Tenten, your sensei is Maito Gai” Rock Lee was celebrating by yelling youth with burning passion in his eyes.

Sakura raised up her hand and asked “Sensei what about Naruto?” ‘That’s right what about him, what is his team?’ everyone mentally thought.

“Naruto Otsutsuki will be an Elite Genin with his sensei being Yugao Uzuki” Naruto smirked and was glad not having to deal with people. Everyone nodded at the words of Iruka and left to celebrate for their graduation. Naruto then followed to leave with a thought ‘Neko-chan, we will be meeting again’ Naruto smiled.
