《Ancient Cultivator in Modern World》Chapter 14: Muspelheim[1]

Somewhere inside a huge forest. A crack in the air exploded to form a spatial tear. The trees shook as dust flew towards the skies, sending the inhabitants of the forest into a panic.
The spatial tear in the air pulsated as three red-robed figures came out of it. One was a youth with a reddish hair, while the other two had a semblance of the other.
The three were Khan, Elder Gabica, and Lily.
"Are you guys fine?" Khan turned towards the two and asked.
"Yes, we can manage." The one who answered was the old man who didn't have a trace of his previous experiences, his body had become vigorous, thanks to the nourishment that he received from the pills that the Sect Master himself had concocted.
Nodding, Khan turned towards Lily who wore a pale countenance, since traveling through space to arrive towards a location would shake the body too much, it wasn't strange for anyone to feel dizzy upon arriving.
"I'm fine, I can manage." Lily gave a weak smile towards the worried Khan.
Khan could only shake his head inwardly. Around them was a vast amount of greeneries with towering trees that dotted the skies, giving them the blessing of a cool shade.
"It seems like the Sect Master didn't transfer us directly into the city," Khan spoke towards the two.
"Yes, although the Sect Master could transfer us inside, it is not recommended since the city has too many detectors, especially towards a spatial tear." Elder Gabica replied towards Khan.
"But I know that we're not that far away from the city." He added.
"Eh? How do you know?" Khan asked in a puzzled voice, his curiosity intensified when he noticed that Lily gave a victorious smile.
"Because we've been in that city for countless times already." Elder Gabica spoke with a smile suffused on his face.
"Then, I hope senior can lead the way." Although Khan had countless means to locate the direction towards the city. He decided to give up and hand the reins towards the two.
Lily's smile intensified, her hands akimbo as she declared.
"Okay! We will be the guide for today!"
Khan could only return an astonished gaze towards Lily who suddenly became energetic. 'Well, it's not like it's bad to be energetic.' Khan thought.
After walking under the sun for about four hours. The group stood before a towering wall. Khan calculated that the wall was about thirty meters in height. Under the wall was a four-lane road that connected the outside towards the insides of the city.
The group walked on the sidewalk watching the cars honking as they sped towards their destination. Khan didn't look like he became shocked by the scene before him. That's because the information he received included these means of transportations called cars.

Although they looked far more luxurious from the one he saw inside his mind. They were still in the category of cars. The two walked for about fifteen minutes on the sidewalk before they reached the entrance.
Before them, stood a uniformed man who received payments and handed over a receipt in return. It became the group's turn in a matter of minutes. After paying the necessary fees. They finally arrived inside the City of Wisdom; Muspelheim.
The two didn't look like they became intoxicated by the sights before them since they had already visited this city for about several times already, the scene before them didn't invoke any kind of strong feelings.
In contrast, Khan stared at the skyscrapers and the trains in the sky. There were numerous roads in the sky that intersected the entire city. On the roads were several trains that moved at high speeds that Khan's eyes could barely follow.
Some of the roads went outside the city, while some of them stopped at sky station. 'Interesting...' Khan muttered inside his mind. The information he received from the Great Library didn't include these wonders before him, and so he stood there dumbfounded.
Khan quickly regained his calm, However, it was already too late. For the people around him looked towards him like he was some kind of a country bumpkin. Looking at his outfit, he really looked like he was a beggar of some sort.
"Hey, missus, stop your attendants from blocking the road." A middle-aged man with a lavish outfit spoke towards Lily. Although he wore a smile, his disdain couldn't help but leak from his eyes.
Although the robe he received from the Sect Master had a pristine condition when he wore it. Thanks to them traveling under the sun for several hours, and their outfits catching all kinds of dust and dirt, they didn't look far from beggars.
In contrast, only Lily's outfit remained in its pristine condition. That was thanks to Lily utilizing her Qi to clean her outfit. As a woman, and a young one at that. She disliked being dirty and feeling the sticky sensation on her skin. Thus, she couldn't help but cleanse her clothes with Qi.
Lily turned her head and found that the middle-aged man had already walked towards a sky station. She puffed her cheeks in annoyance. 'How rude!' She stomped her feet on the ground as she thought.
Khan and Elder Gabica could only wryly smile.
The group, withstanding the weird gazes thrown at them walked towards a sky station, after ordering the tickets they needed to arrive at their destination. They boarded the sky train.
Upon entering the sky train. A strange power manifested around the group that whenever they would pass, the crowded waves of people would automatically create a path for them to walk.

Their faces full of desperation to not touch the three. Lily and Elder Gabica could only sigh. Although they expected this kind of treatment, they didn't expect that it would be this extreme.
Khan had a puzzled look on his face as he thought. 'Why do they act like this? Shouldn't they be more civilized and polite?' The information about the people who lived in the modern world in his mind didn't match the reality that he experienced today.
Khan had a premonition and looked towards a huge screen that fitted at the center of the train. Upon noticing the date and time, he facepalmed and groaned.
The screen displayed. April 17, 2090.
'The information I received has a time difference of a century?! This still makes me a country bumpkin!' Khan could only sigh upon realizing that he still didn't know anything about the modern world.
The group finally arrived before a huge mansion. Although they expected that the dwelling that the Sect Master would give to his direct disciple would be luxurious. They didn't expect that it would be this luxurious.
The mansion before them stood in a vast amount of land that was about three hectares in height and width. For a city of commerce, it was considered to be extremely big. With this amount of land. Khan could use this to create a mini-sect.
Khan nodded in satisfaction while the two had their mouths opened in shock. 'Isn't this too luxurious even for a direct disciple?' The two could only think.
With a key in his hand. Khan approached the gates of the mansion, but before he could even draw near. He was stopped by a loud shout that rang from the side.
"Stop! Entrance to that area is not allowed!" A uniformed man shouted, his voice filled with power and a threatening aura enveloped his body. His right hand on his left wrist.
Khan looked at the man's wrist and found that he had something that Dastard called, Rune Decipherer. He smiled, ignoring the man's warnings, he walked at an, even more, faster pace towards the gates.
"You forced me!" The uniformed man shouted. Lily and Elder Gabica bent their knees, ready to pounce towards the man if he acted strangely. Khan directed his gaze towards the two and signaled that they let the man attack him.
The two threw a questioning gaze towards Khan, but they decided to withdraw in the end. All of these took time to write in words but happened in an instant. The uniformed man tapped on his wrist with his right hand as a flow of runes manifested and enveloped his left palm.
Pointing towards Khan, the uniformed man shouted. "Fireball!" A burst of flames exploded towards Khan with a screeching sound. Khan estimated that the might contained within the fireball was only enough to send a mortal man into unconsciousness.
Because of this, Khan decided not to retaliate too much as his figure blurred and appeared behind the uniformed man.
"Eh?" The uniformed man could only utter before he was thrown down towards the ground. Although he was still conscious, he was already seeing stars. He gritted his teeth and spoke.
"You bastards, you will regret attacking."
"Why should I regret?" Khan asked with a smiling face.
"The person who owns that residence isn't someone that you can afford to offend." He uttered in a grim tone.
"Murana, are you okay? You bastard, get your hands off him!" A uniformed man ran towards Khan, he tapped on his wrist and sent a ball of lightning towards Khan.
Khan only smiled and easily evaded the lightning ball. The atmosphere shook followed by a whizzing sound. Elder Gabica caught the lightning ball and dissipated it with his Qi.
The uniformed man who attacked with the lightning ball looked dumbfounded at this sudden change of events. A mere old man could catch the lightning ball that I threw with my full force? No- he was not just an old man. He's a real expert! He screamed in his mind before he decided to talk this through.
"Seniors, we're sorry to offend you. We were just doing our job to protect that mansion." The uniformed man spoke in a respectful tone.
Seeing this, Khan thought. 'So this world still looks upon the strong?'
"Dobart, you don't need to do that, just call the Captain and let him handle these guys." Murana who still laid on the ground spoke with gritted teeth.
"Shut up!" Dobart retorted. Who is he kidding? Did he not notice that the old man before the youth caught his lightning ball like a basketball and erased it like a bubble?'
"It's fine, and also. The reason why we approached this mansion is because we are the new owners of this house." Khan spoke with a smile on his face. He ignored the two and walked towards the gates.
Inserting a key in the keyhole. A clicking sound echoed followed by a mechanical voice of a woman. "Key ownership confirmed; Entrance allowed."
A whizzing sound rang as the gates parted, creating a path straight towards the mansion. The group smiled towards the two, particularly Lily who even had her tongue out, teasing the two who stood there dumbfounded.
As the gates closed behind them. Khan's eyes shone with a newly gained determination. To know more about this world!

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

[Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
