《My Cerberus Girlfriend》Book One: Chapter 18

Medusa stared at the giant reptile skeleton at the center of the exhibit. She pointed her staff at the creature and blasted purple light at it.
The purple blast engulfed the entire skeleton instead of blowing it up. While the skeleton glowed purple, its bones twitched and rattled.
It moved its left foot to the floor off the pedestal, and then the right foot next. The skull looked up and roared.
Its roar shivered through Medusa's skin, giving her a smile. What an amazing creature she conjured up. It should keep the Cerberus bitch distracted so she could escape. Maybe kill her instead.
"What the fuck is that thing?" Katina shouted.
The skeleton lizard turned toward the three-headed beast and growled. Although it has no voice box, it still sounded like it was full of hungry terror. It could be how it was before it died.
"Ah….. It's a T-rex!" the human answered.
The Cerberus's heads turned to him. "What-"
The skeleton swung its tail into her, sending her flying into the wall.
Medusa laughed.
She wished she could watch. But she doesn't have that time. She has to escape if she wanted her plan to succeed.
Medusa placed the stone head into her pocket and dashed toward the archway to the main hall.
She spotted Lewis lying flat on the floor like a drunken idiot. How pathetic…..
She kicked him until his eyes opened, and he rose.
"What happened?" He asked.
"What happened? It sssseemed to got your asssss kicked," said Medusa.
Lewis looked around. "Should I finish her?"
"There isss no time for that. We mussst leave now."
"Okay." Lewis followed her toward the back, where they escaped through an emergency exit.

Labda flew and crashed against the wall again. She got up and rubbed her back.

"How the Hades are we're getting our asses kicked by bones?" Katina complained.
“Medusa’s blasted magic,” Labda explained under her breath. “She made it very strong!”
As the skeleton marched toward her, Roger jumped toward her front and aimed his gun at the T-Rex creature. He fired, and the bullet hit the skeleton tooth, shooting it off.
The skeleton roared as if it stepped on a nail.
"Nice shot, sweetie!" Cilla cheered.
Roger blushed. "Thanks."
"Keep shooting it!" Katina demanded. "I think that hurts its ass!"
Roger fired more shots until his gun clicked. "Crap! I'm out!"
The skeleton swung its tail toward him. Labda charged and grabbed the boney tail before it hit the human. "Can you load more projectiles?"
Roger removed a clip from his gun and placed another into the gun's handle. "I don't have enough to shoot it into pieces! If I have a machine gun, I could-"
The skeleton raised the Cerberus girl up and tossed her toward Roger. He leaped from her path before she crashed into a glass display of giant seashells.
Being tossed around was getting annoying. There has to be another way for Labda to defeat the animated construct without Roger's projections. And the relics inside the museum didn't seem helpful. But at least the thing wasn't indestructible.
Labda rose and charged. "We're not giving up!"
The skeleton swung his tail again, but this time the Cerberus beast woman leaped over it. She landed on its back and held on to its back spine.
The skeleton roared and raced into the main hall. It jumped and shook, trying to threw the Cerberus off its back. But the three-headed beast still held on as if she was riding a horse.
“Getty up horsey!” Cilla cheered. “Getty up!”

“Let me try shooting its skull!” Roger shouted as he ran into the main hall.
The three girl heads smiled and wrapped their arms around the skeleton’s neck. They unmounted themselves as they pulled the skeleton to the floor and slammed it.
“Shoot it!” Katina shouted while holding the skeleton down.
Roger sprinted toward the skeleton and shot many bullets into its skull. He fired and fired, decorating the skulls with holes. But it continued to roar.
“Why won’t you die?” Katina complained.
Roger stopped when his gun clipped. “Damn! I only got only clip left!”
With all its strength, the skeleton rose on both feet and threw the Cerberus girl off.
Roger sprinted before the beast girl’s large butt landed on him. The heads moaned in pain.
“Why the hell didn’t you catch us?” Katina shouted, rubbing her rear end.
Roger glared at her. “Can’t you see how small I am, compared to you?”
“Phew! A real man would risk his life for anyone.”
“We forgive you, sweetie,” said Cilla.
Katina growled at the right head. “Will you please stop calling him sweetie so we can-”
The skeleton opened its enormous mouth and charged toward the beast girl.
Labda caught its mouth and pushed it back from biting her. “Bickering will not help us slay this thing!”
“We need lots of projectiles to kill this thing!” Cilla cried.
Roger put his last clip into his gun handle. “I only have ten bullets left!”
“Just shoot its vulnerable spots!” Labda suggested.
“What whatever spots?”
Katina punched the skeleton to the floor. “Look, stupid!”
Roger shot the skeleton’s neck caps, making it collapsed to the floor. It still held together except without its legs.
“Keep shooting it!” Katina ordered.
Roger fired more at the skull until his last bullet left his gun. The skeleton's head was full of holes now, but it roared.
It crawled straight toward Roger like a serpent. The human just stood there, screaming.
That fool! Labda sprinted toward the skeleton and leaped over its body, and landed on its skull by her elbow, smashing it.
The thing stopped after she shattered its skull into pieces, nearly touching Roger.
"Are you okay?" Cilla asked after Labda rose among the bone pieces.
Roger sighed and placed his gun back into his holder. "I'm alright….."
Katina pointed her finger at the human. "You should have moved, dumbass! You never stop moving in battle!"
"Hey, I was scared! I never faced anything like that before!"
"Then how are you protecting this stupid city if you can't-"
"All right! Let's in!" a man's voice shouted from outside.
Cilla stared at the open front door. "Who's that?"
Roger dropped his mouth. "Oh shit! We have to leave now!"
