Thank you all for taking interest in what I have been writing, and taking your time to read it. I would like to tell the readers who had commented things like "Thanks you for the chapter" - I am very grateful to you guys. I didn't want to reply to your posts one by one as it would flood the thread but this way I would like to tell you that those Thank You's mean a lot to me.

Chapter 21 – Kingdom of Heaven.

It took slow steps and moved closing the distance between us. After each step it felt as an eternity has passed. I could see its eyes and teeth only. Each step it made was pouring out some kind of aura. Terror, horror, creepiness, panic, desperateness – if all of these were combined together - wouldn’t much come close to that aura. I began to waver.

[Wolf]: Do you think I’m Elise?

Another step.

[Wolf]: Do you expect me to kiss you?

I could feel every inch of distance between us. I let go of everything. Thank god I’ve sent a mail to my parents when I came back to Mehn Academy. I let go life itself. I didn’t care anymore. I could feel its breath. A step, maybe two? I didn’t regret anything that I had done until now. I looked directly into its eyes. It made another step. Its nose was clinging to my face. I stood firm by what I had decided moments ago. I will look into death’s eyes. It made another step and its paw entered my body first. What I meant by the word entered is as it is. It was going into my body. Joining with me. The last part was its tail, which patted my nose before everything ended. I almost smashed my face; just by a second difference my arms went forward and supported me. I began to breathe desperately as if there was no air.

Something like an earthquake happened. Darkness was vibrating. It began to diffuse. I could see light. I could see light flashing. I was still breathing heavily, standing on my knees and arms. I felt warms for the first time through my fingers. It was sand, warm sand. Behind me the sounds of waves were coming. I began to feel normal. It took a bit time, but I did feel strength in me again. Sounds of waves were giving me some kind of ecstasy. I stood up and saw a forest in front of me. I was on the shore. I turned back and saw a mass of water. I didn’t know where I was. I walked straight into the forest. I walked and walked. I passed the forest and saw a big hill. There was a man and the wolf was beside him on the hill. I wiped my eyes with the backside of my left hand. I looked again and they had disappeared. I walked up the hill to the place where they were standing. They were not there. Though there was something that looked similar to throne or so it seemed. It was a big rock, and a place to sit was carved on it. A small cloud was above it and there was snow pouring down on the rock. I came close and sat on it as if it was mine to begin with. Lights got a bit brighter. I looked up and lights of sun, which was shining from behind, passed through the cloud. It stopped snowing and disappeared later. I turned my face and the mass of water was too beautiful. It was limitless. I felt so.

Two presences appeared. The one on the right side felt similar. It was the one that was with me from the beginning. The same being who helped me out in the Mount Retnus. On the left I felt the wolf. It was in peace. Both of them at the same time whispered with a peaceful voice.

I woke up around 7 am. Changed my clothes and went for a run. My body was overflowing with unusual amount of power and strength. After breakfast, made my way to academy to select the classes, which I was going to attend this year. I had magic and art of war as compulsory classes. I selected mathematics and public administration as electives.

Everyone was greeting me as they were passing by, and I was nodding at them. I had become a celebrity. I didn’t like the attention that I was getting. I met Roia on my way to dorms, we chitchatted a bit and I left her to get to my room. Eliar was now a senior year student and was running the male sector of the dormitory. He had the qualities expected from a province level government worker, and I expect him to be of good use to the local province administration office where he intended to work after graduation. He had managed to get my portraits renewed in a day’s time with new tattoo on the right place. How he did it? The answer is simple. That’s what makes him eligible for government work. He can make things work out.

I had few more days until school officially will be open. I had few plans regarding exploring the city. Elise told me that Ricat has invited me to their house on Saturday. I went to their house a bit after the noon. Roia’s family was attending too. We had barbeque and I joined Ricat and Roia’s father Kael in conversation regarding the state of kingdom and it’s future. We all had our own views and most of the time they clashed and resulted in heated debates. It was almost late night when I left their house and came back to dormitory.

The school was fun. I enjoyed my classes. I was active in discussions. I went to see Drama Club acting. They invited me as an actor for one of their acts and I was a tree. On 5th of Elaisis I celebrated my 15th birthday. I was told that I would not be eligible to enter the school tournament this year, as I was too strong for an academy student.

On 3rd of Kali I met Zara for the first time after the battle that we had in the tournament. We had long talk with her. She told me that she already had a green light to work as a consultant at Ministry of Finance after the graduation. We went to a restaurant for lunch. Enjoyed fish and chips there. Had a long walk across the boulevard and discussed many things that I learned we shared in common. I didn’t make a move on her but I could sense that she was expecting something. I accompanied her to the residence where they were leaving.

I got to know that most of the students were avoiding me so I couldn’t get meet any new people at all.

I had few make out sessions with Mariette. She has not cut her hair, and it got long in the last year. That way she looked more attractive. She told me that my father and mother were doing fine. My sister still kept declining marriage offers.

Attacks of the beast men had decreased while demons of the south had increased their attack patterns and frequency.
