Then some guards from inside came to arrest him but then suddenly (Commander of Red shield knights) Theophilus Aetos came to stop the soldiers and tell them that he is the new Lord of Eflos. Everyone was surprised that a person like him can be a Lord of some region. Then Rin spotted him but got stopped by Jacob because Ray had already made a commotion and if they get close to him, they will also get suspicious because they came here as the diplomats from Ying and Tubo-Dinor. Then the Monarch of Ormont Phaedra Nephus and then in a moment the whole room went silent. Then the Monarch announced that the person who become the new Lord of Eflos is Thanatos Drakos the last surviving member of the Drakos family and then he went upstairs and receives a sword from the Monarch. After the sword gifting ceremony, all the lords and dukes went into the meeting room where everyone sits and talk about the current condition of the empire. Everyone starts yelling and panicking but then suddenly the Monarch shouted and everyone become quiet and start sitting on the chairs. The creature then came inside and bow to the Monarch and tell him that the queen of Cobarus Knibra and Regan had accepted Ormont's request to join the alliance between them against Truth. After that, the Monarch tell everyone that they are going to fight against Ying and Tubo-Dinor because they have allied with Naipoll whose objective is to conquer the world and take down Truth. Everyone was confused because of what the Monarch had just told them then Ray stands up and went towards the Cobarus who was standing next to the Monarch. Then he took out his sword and then he put it back inside, he transforms his left hand into a claw with his hardening ability. The Cobarus then try to attack him but then he found out that he was cut into millions of pieces by Ray. After seeing that everyone starts running toward the door but then suddenly, he grows his claws and cuts everyone heads off who was running towards the door. Then he takes out the sword with the help of his sword and claw combo he kills everyone in the room in an instance except the Monarch. After killing everyone Ray looks toward the Monarch who was scared because of Ray. He tells Ray that he is joining them because they are strong but he didn’t know the power scale was far beyond his imagination level. Then he grabs the Monarch and went to the centre of the city, where he makes a pole out of his hardening ability and put the Monarch on it. Then he shouts that the great monarch of Ormont is going to die so if anyone wants to view that they could come here. Then the policeman on the guard attack him but got killed before they could realise that the opponent, they have is far more superior than they can ever become. After discovering the massacre of nobles in the meeting room the Knights of Red shield got news of the Monarch is in the centre of the city. Commander Theophilus ordered all soldiers to mobilise against the Lord of Eflos. Then after hearing this news Rin head towards the city centre and tell Jacob to head over to the hotel and tell everyone to come to the city centre because they still don’t know how many powers Ray has got from the experiment.
