Chapter 18: Elven Ass?
Early morning, around dawn, I awoke with two lovely maidens snuggling on each of my arm.
My face seemed to be buried on Remi's chest, while Meles' warm hand was subconsciously massaging my sword in her sleep.
Ah, how did we ended up sleeping like this in the end?
It’s too much to explain, so I'll just leave it right there.
“Wake up you two!”
After such an early affair, we started to eat breakfast. I grilled the fishes that Meles caught first thing in the morning, and ate half of them myself.
Not too crude, not too tasty. It lacked the seasoning, but it contained that seasonal freshness.
Then, once I’m done satisfying the beast in my stomach, I stripped to the waist, cleansed my upper body, face, and hands.
“I’ve been meaning to ask, but what is that tattoo?”
Remi inquired, as she too washed herself with the river water on my side.
“A birthmark?”
When she meant tattoo, I immediately thought of this curse carved on my back.
“Liar, this is too detailed to be a birthmark.”
She glide her wet fingers around it, and at the same time it started to burn.
“Don't touch it…”
“Does it hurt?”
“Kind of.”
As soon as I showed that pained expression, Remi quickly backed off.
It’s good on its own way like that. Because I do not have time to tell her what type of history this tattoo have.
Geez Tersa, what are you trying to do with my body?
Because of this tattoo, I could not use magic. Or more like, this markings extinguishes the mana running in my blood veins.
While thinking about Tersa, I sighed.
She really ate me every part of me last night. Even that instant regeneration was backfiring.
But when I look at her daze expression while eating my body parts and me lying on that solid darkness, I thought she was kinda cute. In a certain way.
Yet recalling that nightmare really makes my spine to shudder and my skin to crawl.
“I better go before I start developing any weird fetishes.”
I returned joyfully and Meles handed me my clothes along with a towel to dry myself off.

“This horse is really fully equip with anything Kansouke would need. I can’t believe that girl prepared this in a single hour, just like she said.”
“Oh please, let’s not go onto that part again. Let me just remind you its a “he”, not a “she”.”
At the last words that left my mouth, Meles bit her lips tightly.
It would seem that she could really not believe that Roxis is a big “he”. Well, I can’t blame her. If I didn’t felt that thing on our first meeting, I would’ve probably seen him as any other girl.
“No matter how you look at it, that’s impossible.”
Meles fixed her eyes on me, looking at me intently.
So I replied back like it was nothing.
“Perhaps, and his image was a cute girl. Honestly, I don’t know how he did it. But he’s a guy through and through.”
While saying this, I started wearing my clothes. From this plain shirt and my usual equipment.
And while helping me strapped the sword on my back, Meles spoke disdainfully.
“I just don’t like how Kansouke looks at her.”
“That’s my gaze of annoyance, or disgust, however you may describe it.”
Meles was never this selfish.
But its also a sign that she’s growing.
Wait, I’ve never really thought of it, but how old is Meles?
She appears to be younger, but she’s a demon. So could it be that this childish act merely a facade?
No way.
But if I think about it more carefully, Tersa is a millenium old, yet she acts and looks like a ten year old.
I shook my head.
I want to know, but it’s rude to ask for a girl’s age.
Although I understood that in my head, my mouth did an entirely different thing.
“By the way, how old is—”
“Kansouke, look!”
Remi interrupted me and energetically ran towards us.
On her palms is a shiny green gem, resembling an emerald of some sort.
I sighed again while holding my temple. “Where did you find it?”
“I found it running at the river. This could be worth a lot!” Remi said, pointing to the spot where she just came from.
The moment she finishes, I immediately turned my gaze to Meles, and she nodded in consent to what I was thinking.

A magic stone.
Gordon, what is it that you really wanted me to see out here?
While Remi was eyeing the small stone, Meles whispered on my back.
“I can’t fully explain, but monsters are usually drawn in by the light of this stones.”
“So in short, you want to come?” I whispered back.
“Umu.”
I took a very deep breath to calm my mind.
From within her hooded gaze, I know there’s a lot of concern brewing.
“No worries, I’ll run at the first sight of danger.”
“Understood, but as soon as night falls, we’ll chase after you.”
“Alright, it’s a promise.”
With Meles’ tender smile, I left our camp in good spirits.
I continued on that forest path by myself, beside the river.
Eventually, the slope is getting difficult to traverse, as more rocks and the sort started hindering my way.
In regards to monsters, there is none. So far, my track had been clear of the usual kobold family that we encountered every now and then.
It’s good if it’s actually like that, yet I couldn’t stop thinking as to where those spiders came from. And that mysteriously, ungrateful girl too.
As my footsteps were shrouded by the sound of running water, I doubled my pace.
The sun up high had fully risen, yet the chill emanating from this eerie silence voids that warmth coming from the keen sunlight.
And alas, after persevering through that harsh sunlight bathing my skin, I found the garden of Faeries.
The crystal clear water flowing from upstream was indeed beautiful, and the lake feeding into it was gigantic.
Snatches of sky could be seen through the leaves and branches, and the overall area was producing an air of mystery.
I knelt and dipped my hand in that soothing water.
Right after I submerged my fingertips alone, I feel refreshed. Something must be mixed in with this water. It feels smooth, almost silky.
“This is serious! DEADLY SERIOUS!”
This place is more than worthy to be called, Nymph’s bath, but WHERE ARE THE FAERIES?
I came here for the risk and danger.
To die a happy man after being spotted and say, “Teehee, you caught me~”
Enough joking around. I went around the fall to search for a cave, just like in Gordon’s instruction, there should be a cave underneath this waterfall.
Harsh water current was poured all over my head as I come across, and in a single second, I was fully drenched.
Careful not to slip, I pressed and moved by grabbing onto a rock. One after another, until I have reached the very center.
“Phew… Cold.”
And just like what Gordon has told me about, there was indeed a cave.
The cave was unexpectedly bright, thanks to the sun emanating from that little hole on my right.
Butt…………….
There was something round and full, visible to my eyes, to the point that it was blinding.
“………”
There seemed to be a pile of clothes neatly folded on her side.
The owner of that ass was bent, with a hand on her hip… and the other… to a fine piece of silk.
Her eyes trembled as soon as she noticed my presence, yet I still kept my silence.
That ass was just that good.
Perfectly proportional to her slim yet toned body.
This is dangerous.
She replied in an expression saying that I should turn tail while she could still let me, yet my eyes were still directed on her ass.
I wonder why, but I couldn't help but think that ass is not normal.
After a silent moment, she moved her body. Her whole body was naked, trembling in something.
And then, when her eyes are full of tears, I spoke.
“Teehee~ You caught me!”
I acted like a fool, slipped my tongue out, and averted my gaze from her.
So to speak, my wish was granted.
The girl did not utter any word. She approached heavily, clenching her fist, and in single moment.
*WABANG!*
A shock pulverized my face.
Shifting her whole body weight with her punch, I was sent flying……. backwards.
“You will die.”
My vision was spinning, yes, but beyond the insanity, I was able to see. The part that distinguished her from any other girl I’ve met so far.
Those sharp and pointed ears….
So that’s why that ass is so good!
“Its Elven ass!”
As I casually said that, my whole body flew passed the waterfall. Just when I thought, it’ll end there, another shock jolted through my abdomen!
A dropkick.
And then, I was happily submerged into a body of water………….

Dear Spellbook (Rewrite)
Live. Study. Repeat. Tal never saw himself as an adventurer, but the call to adventure never much cared for his opinion. Despite his best efforts, his search for answers on the murder of his parents ever draws him into danger. Accompanied by a group of seasoned warriors, thus far Tal has gotten by on his own meager magical talents, but when one day he wakes up to find himself back in his bed of the night before, he is faced with a challenge he must conquer alone. What to expect: This story was born of an attempt to create in world lore reasons for many of the mechanics and tropes of D&D, but you do not need to know of them to enjoy the story. It's a single POV time loop story with slow paced progression fantasy elements. The story is not one of fast-paced power ups and non-stop action, but as it progresses, the action picks up. There is a lot of magic system exploration on a system built to unify the diverse magic of D&D into one cohesive magic system. The setting is an original world with familiar races and monsters but with new unique origins and motivations. The average chapter will be 2-5k words long, most being around 3k but there are a few less than 1k, due to the nature of the story telling device I used. Book 1 is complete. Posting is on hold until I finish book 2. Book 2 progress: The rough draft is done at 141656 words as of 7/9/2022. I need to reread and edit it but Im aiming for resuming chapters in September.
