The larvae was hungry. It ate every string in the chamber, and was on the search for more food. He crawled towards the entrance. On the way he stared at the corpse of the blue larvae, still covered in shit. His belly was already growling. The wall still was too tough for his hooks, something he only realised after thiry minutes because his belly growled.

One might deter from eating a corpse, especially eating the corpse of one of your kin covered in shit.

The larvae didn't care. He simply stared at it and wondered whether that would make a good meal.

It DID taste well, he was a larvae after all, and they ate corpses. The problem was in the shit. The magical fungi was everywhere and would grow once it had enough warmness and resources.

After the dragon death, it simply quietly growed everywhere. However, ever since the larvae ate it, its growth rate was multiplied - despite the fly's immune system. And once the shit was expelled, and instead landed on a fresh corpse, its growth rate just rised astronomically. By the time the fly ate it, the fungi already grew into a red-orange shade, and small roots sticked everywhere to the fly's body.

Thanks to its recent "mental logic" skill, he noted his HP points dropping, and felt progressively worse with every second. Maybe something bad would happen if he let it go on? The larvae wasn't sure. But he sure was hungry, and once more made its way outside the chamber, supporting himself with his hooks.
