A young baby lizard was born today from breaking free from its eggshell, although some people may think it is a lizard.

Unfortunately it is not. these species are called [deer luminous] these species branch out from the other reptilian species and had developed their back to sprout wings made out of scales and skin so they could survive among the trees from their predators that tries to eat them from below, another common thing is that before they reach Lv.30 which is adulthood for them they are usually seen on a nest made out of leaves with their mother and other brothers & sisters.

unfortunately because of an event that happened yesterday the tremor made the egg fall from its nest, but luckily it survived the fall, by falling on a pond with a really high waterfall, after floating in the warm water the egg finally drifted to the edge of pond.

when it was morning, the egg cracked and out came a baby [deer luminous Lv.1] about the size of a cell phone.

Seeing nobody around to feed him, he cried while shutting its eyes tight, hoping somebody feeds him.

now another thing about them if that even though they are weak they can avoid near death experience by screaming high pitch sound waves that can either confuse the enemy, or if they’re lost they can change the pitch so other comrades can hear them, but the baby didn't knew that so he just cried and screamed at the same time.

*AHHH!!WAAAHH!!PIIIIIII!!!AHHH!!!PIIII!!!*

*growl* *growl*

Oh no it seems it only attracted enemies, which were [despihounds] they look skinny has shit and are always deep grey in color with hollow clear eyes, about six appeared and their level ranges from Lv.15 to 29, the leader which was smaller than the rest, barked really deep telling its pack to eat it that helpless baby, following its orders all of them ran, nearly in the brink of death the baby still cried.

*pounce*

one of them jumped to attack but was stopped midway when a pointed ice spear pierced its head making it a critical hit, died and evaporated to ash, while the baby was still crying, the rest of the pack looked to the origin of the ice attack and behind them they saw a cube jelly like thing, with a rabbit mammal all soaked and wet.

(argus pov)

“Have fun!! And level up!! Ok!!”

Was the last thing I heard from my master before I was dragged by freaking Aqua. I was currently being dragged by aqua to who knows where, I know she has no hands, the way she was dragging me was making a big stream of water making it a means of transportation making my luscious fur WET!

‘Where are you dragging me to AQUA!!? I was happy when master summoned me so I could thank him for healing my wounds, even though I was really tired and wanted to rest more. I just wanted to thank him. so tell me, Why Did You drag me away AQUA!?’

I was furious, even though we can’t communicate to master because of the language barrier I wanted to at least thank him, but right now I was screaming at aqua demanding for her to answer my question.

I don’t know how we are able to communicate because aqua has no mouth, but I know we can communicate ever since the day we met, which was yesterday, it must be a magical creature thing?

‘SO?!?!’ I said demanding an answer,

‘Oh hush now Argus, I’m only going to a place so we can level up and become stronger to protect father. I mean didn't you hear what father said, he said ‘level up’..’ said aqua facing my way, still controlling the stream of water we are currently riding.

‘..Um... I think he also said ‘fun’....’ I said trying to remember, but I’m sure master said that.

‘What are you talking about father clearly stated to level up so we can protect him,’ I can start to hear a slight annoyed tone from her.

‘but I heard him said that he was level nine, just one more level and he can protect us-’ before I can continue aqua told me in high tone,

‘What about you!?, you got knocked out first before me all because you used [dash] and [lightning] too early, because of that you got a rebound and father had to heal you and lose all his mana’ She said in a clearly stated high and annoyed tone, I was pissed about what she about me but I guess that was own fault too.

‘Master only lost his mana, he will eventually get it bac-’ again I was cut off.

‘Don’t you know that here in this world majority of skills need mana! Father has only passive abilities and no offense, he can use his [dash] but it has a limit! you don’t know how he saved me, ME!... When I during that time I had no mana..’ she said, her tone slowly fading from the annoyed tone to a softer one,

‘What did you say?’ I think she said something about herself.

‘It was nothing, just forget about it!’ I was now curious because aqua was the first to be tamed by master.

‘Judging from what you said it seems like something happened before I joined the group, is it okay for you to tell me?’ she hesitated for a while before she told her story.

‘Okay... Fine... But this will be the first and last I tell this to anybody.

My home which was the lake father was standing was destroyed by a monster that came from the swamp.

everybody knows that all monsters from the swamp can pollute any kind of water source, and add an illusion to make it clear and clean so people won’t know its polluted, there are sometimes where people can feel that the water is gross, but before they can realize they died in the polluted water,

Continuing from my story, I was fighting a swamp monster that was ten times stronger than me, I used all my mana fighting him ’

‘Wait, I thought you don’t need mana to use your inborn abilities?’ I said stating my confusion,

‘Yes that true, but it requires mana to strengthen the power. see the swirling in my slime, it’s me slowly making my inborn abilities stronger, anyways, when I was about to get hit from the big monster I saw something light falling down the sky in a really fast pace, once it finally landed down on my home, it suddenly exploded and millions of light particles scattered killing the monster and out came father, he looked wounded and in pain because of his pained expression he was making, so I healed him slowly, and backed away to see if he would gain consciousness, things happened and he accidentally stepped on me and I became his pet, Okay! The end!! Now promise you won’t tell anybody!’

she said the last part really fast like she was embarrassed or something.

‘Okay, okay I won’t tell anybody, promise,’ I said with a normal voice, until I got shocked and realized she didn't answer my question.

‘AH! You still haven’t answered my question, where are you dragging me?’

‘well I was going to drag us somewhere to level up until I heard, a baby animal crying when I was telling my story so I quickly changed my direction and increased the speed of my stream of water, also I think were nearing a waterfall,’ I looked up and noticed a water fall and on the edge of the big amount was a pack of [despihounds]

‘Are those despihounds, ugh I hate how they look’ I said, looking at the packs I realized they were looking at something I squinted my eyes to try and see what it was, and to my surprise it was a baby like thing with small wings on its back, noticing a hound ready to pounce at the baby, I screamed.

‘AQUA! The baby!’ before I even told aqua, she already made lance out of water, and it froze, making an ice lance.

‘On It!! [Ice Lance]!!’ the ice lance flew at a high speed, piercing the head of the hound making it a critical hit, and evaporated,

Aqua and me, who was still WET!!, got of the stream and was now looking at the hounds.

On cue all of them also turned their heads, ‘are you ready aqua?’ I said,

looking at the ice spears ready, it looked like she was ready.

Right now was, how should I say it. a really slow one sided slaughter?, right now both pets are battling the [despihounds], and it was a really slow procedure because,

The one to launch an attack first was aqua, who just shot all of her ice lance towards the leader of the pack which was smaller than the rest, with a quick reaction the leader used its skill [shadow steps] which makes shadows copies of itself.

it can only be used has a distraction because the shadow does nothing,

because of the confusion all of the ice lance pierced the shadows and only one just grazed the leader, making it limp and couldn’t move.

Just when aqua was going to use ice lance to kill the leader, two more [despihounds] came and ran to her so instead of an ice lance she made an ice shield to protect herself,

‘ARGUS!! Need Help!!’ she told, trying to hold off the two hounds from her.

While all the way to the other side the baby stopped crying and was only staring at the back of the one protecting him which was, Argus who was screaming at aqua.

‘CANT! I’m protecting the baby!! From these two hounds!! try to hold on for a while!! I’m just going to kill these hounds!!’ has he said that he immediately used [dash] and made quick moves while biting the legs of the hounds taking a bit of flesh from every bite.

‘tch guess I have to kill you three by myself’ said aqua, while she jumped back making the ice shield melted to water.

using the melted water aqua made the water into water sphere’s where there was water tentacles sprouting from the sphere, trying to hit the hounds acting like a whip, the hounds were continuously dodging really fast making it hard to hit them and also making aqua annoyed.

So she quickly made the water tentacles into a net, and pushed all three of them to the other hounds that Argus was fighting where the hounds had skeletons for legs, surprised to what happen Argus said.

‘What are you doing I was going to make a super move to kill th-‘ before he could continue he was cut off by aqua saying.

‘Screw that!! I’m already pissed, quickly used thunder to zap them, quickly!! Before they start to move’

aqua splashed water to the group of hounds and Argus used lightning.

The sudden bright of flash died down after a few seconds leaving the hounds completely fried, seeing that the hounds were completely black, Argus approached them poking one of the hounds.

‘Are they dead yet!!’ aqua said to Argus with an irritated tone, while he was poking one of the hounds,

‘I think?’ said Argus,

*twich*

One of the hounds moved like it was having a spasm in front of Argus, scaring Argus he immediately jumped to where aqua was, screaming.

‘IT MOVED!!’

*zap* *swoosh* *zap*

Immediately aqua and Argus attacked the group of hounds who were having a spasm, using lightning and ice spear,

this happened for an hour until there was nothing left but a pile of corps and splattered guts, finally all of that evaporated and turned to ash,

When the ashes disappeared aqua all of a sudden started glowing.

‘ohh!! I know this light, I saw this when the leader of the pond evolved when he reached to Lv.50, but those hounds were not that strong..’

aqua already knew what was happening so she was not confused, she was only pondering why she was evolving, after the glowing disappeared aqua became bigger,

When aqua was glowing, Argus did not, he also transformed but it only made him grow bigger, making his horns bigger, body and feet a bit longer, and have more fur on the neck area, so they both, in short evolve.

During both of their transformation, the baby was staring at them at ‘awe’ but after that he collapsed due to starvation,

‘Cool!! I even got a skill!!’ they both said in unison like they were happy babies receiving candy,

Looking at each other they also said in unison ‘what’s yours?’

Aqua was the first one to realize, but what happened to the baby?,

‘Argus the baby!!’ they both looked at it only to seen lying on the soil, breathing heavily,

‘quickly let’s bring him to father to heal it, I can’t heal it because I don’t have that much mana left’

after aqua said that she immediately thought of a transformation that will help them move at fast speeds in air, which made her transform in to a sphere with wing like bone structure both top to bottom,

‘Wait.. WHAT!!.. NOT AGAIN!!’ She immediately carried Argus who was carrying the baby using his paws on a stream of water and left towards the person who made them pets.

This leads to the present,
