While viria was explaining about the missing members primus was so kind to give me dinner, which was a grilled steak with peppercorn sauce and mash potato. I was happily eating and couldn’t understand what viria was saying due to the goodness from the food.

*snap*

“Are you listening Aries?” she hit the flip board with her stick and told me if I was listening. Fearing that something bad might happen to me, I was now listening.

“Good, okay now in the guild or any other guild there are two ranks, these are the normal ranks also known has the’ F ranks’ and the strong ranks also known has ‘S rank’

The normal ranks can take any easy missions if they feel like they can do it.

The strong ranks can take missions that are on a higher level than normal ranks and need skilled mages.

Now for the past two years all members have been taking F rank quest and nearly all of them are far, some had to go to the east continent to the west continent.

For now I will tell you about the members that have been mission for the past three months.

The forest that you came out from was called [Giga flora] one of the many safe forest in this continent, in that forest there are three dungeons and so far three have been discovered and found a path to the entrance.

Now the four members that took a quest required them to go in the forest and discover the third dungeon and find anything about it.

I believe that they are still alive because a dungeon usually have 3 to 10 floors and nearly anybody that comes in a dungeon usually comes out after two to five months and also that they are the best combo, they know their strengths and weaknesses so in a battle they can help each other.

Usually I would go and try to find the dungeon but I couldn’t find it, so far three people that went in the dungeon and came out alive told that you don’t find the dungeon but the dungeon finds you, that’s all I have to say, so any questions?”

I was doubting about the part where the “dungeon finds me” and also the fact that the forest I came out from was not a dangerous forest but a safe one, but wow.. Are all dungeons like this? It must be more harder if it’s more real, more real than games.

“Well I have work so I’ll be going for now.. Bye!” primus said before heading to the door and exited out the building.

‘I guess for now I should ask about equipment and cloths because I need one’ I raised my hand.

“Yeah.. If I’m going to enter a dungeon I might need equipment and some cloths” I said while pointing my still ragged shirt that is covered in dirt.

“It’s okay we have spare cloths here, and has for equipment I can’t give you enough money for armor but here you might buy a weapon with it” she gave me five red coin-like money.

After that she gestured me to follow her behind the counter and into the door, she opened it and I saw a room that looked more like a kitchen, white walls, white tiles and everything looked made out of stainless steel.

She went into a smaller room which I guess is the storage room, she came out with a huge box and dropped it in front of me making dust unravel and spreading near my shoes.

“These are some off the cloths that were given to use from some quest we completed, pick anything you like,” she left the kitchen and closed the door so I could change my cloths,

After a while through all the rummaging I manage to find the perfect cloths for my agility like fighting style, even if I never fought before.

It consisted of me bandaging both of my arms and hands,

because I might use hand to hand combat.

after that I was wearing a black silk tank top that was really large, making it goes below my waist.

Tight grey shorts that reached below my knees, it wasn’t that tight but just fit.

On top of the shorts I bandaged my right thigh and added a pouch for my keys, I needed to find a place to put my keys sooner or later and the pouch was perfect.

I still haven’t found any good shoes except a pair of black combat boots, the boots had metal soles and it was heavy. it might help me gain strength stats but it might hinder my agility, for now I’ll wear it.

I found a brown leather backpack so I also took that, inside the backpack I found a necklace that had a hollow circle made out of gold, I wore it.

The clothing I wore was not the best but it was way better than those ragged ones I wore, and the backpack was a major plus because I might find anything valuable since it is a dungeon.

Right now I was looking at myself from a fridge and I have to say I looked like I’m going on an adventure, with the getup and backpack, who wouldn’t.

I was done and finally came out to find that nobody was here, all the lights was close except the lights above the counter. I was going to walk to the exit when I noticed a paper note on the counter.

‘Hey Aries! Sorry I had to leave. I was feeling sleepy and I went back to my apartment, my advice to give you is that you should take any quest related to the Gigaflora because it will help you earn money and buy better equipment and skill rings. you can’t buy anything now due to the markets all closed, so I guess you should also sleep.

Ps. you should also train yourself because the last I heard about a summoner, I heard he died because he was weak up-close, when he didn’t have any magic left to summon he was easily taken down’

“wow I should really train. Really train hard, I don’t want to die like the last sumoner did.

I should buy my equipment later, also these skill rings sound interesting, also the quest..” still holding the paper I was heading towards the quest board on the left side of the room.

“I guess I should train myself, but the glowing thing told that I should raise my defense, HOW?!” I couldn’t understand how to make myself stronger, but for now I will just take a quest.

The board had nothing related to the forest.

*sigh*

‘I guess I should head back to the apartment to tell that were going to find the dungeon tomorrow’

I closed the lights and headed out to my apartment,

While walking I found that it was already one in the morning, because I saw a clock tower that looked like it was in the middle on the capital,

I was near the apartment, I knew that I was near because I could hear thunder and lightning.

I quickly ran to my apartment to find a weird phenomena happening, right now all my three pets are in a circle and they look like they are in a sitting position, but the weird thing is that.

Aqua had droplets of water floating around her, Argus had an electric aura and it was making static noise, and Charon had fire rings circling him.

This happened for a while and when they finished they noticed my presence and was happy to see me.

‘Oh master, you’re here already, you look really cool is that new cloths, oh! Oh! By the way we were just practicing our-’

‘Our magical inborn abilities so we can fluidly control them, it was quiet hard because we had different elements, but anyway what happened father?’

“..”

Argus was happily going to tell me about their practice about their magic abilities but was cut off by aqua, it seems like charon was trying to talk to me, but it looked like he was just staring at me.

“Whoa that’s cool, that means that you can control you elements even more.

Anyway we better rest because tomorrow were going to find a dungeon in the forest that we came from, but honestly I prefer to go now because I don’t feel sleepy”

I really didn’t feel sleepy, maybe it’s because off all the excitement welling up in me, or.. It’s just that I’m not really sleepy,

‘okay then let me go with you father, right now Argus and charon is in the middle of completing their strengthening process for their abilities and its going to take ten more hours until it complete, so in the meantime I will assist you,’

“It seems like you really want to come, but what about Argus and charon, and also you, it might be dangerous..”

out off all of my pet’s argus is the strongest while aqua is below him, I guess I should take aqua because she is more skilled and looks like she has more experience using her water abilities.

‘It’s no problem father, I’m already done doing the strengthening process and is ready to be used,’ aqua said really fast, it seems like she really wants to go and is more excited.

“Alright, but promise me you won’t exhaust yourself”

‘Yes father!!’

“Okay!! Then lets g-” before I could say ‘go’ aqua transformed into her flying form but made it much smaller, looks like she compressed her form to make it look like that, and used water to carry me and left via window.

‘charon!! Argus!! Remember, the process of the magical power is maintaining a steady mind!!’

After that we soon left to the forest.

“Well this is weird!” we are right now looking at a cave that had glowing purple flowers surrounding it, also some webs on the soil leading to the inside.

‘Father this is the venenum dungeon, a dungeon famous for adventures to kill and gather gems for money, ’ it seems like aqua is quite informative about this dungeon.

“This isn’t the dungeon we were looking for aqua, so tell me why did you lead us here?” I said in a monotone voice and also that fact that I’m quite bored, because we flew for one hour and now it’s probably two in the morning.

‘it’s because I think you can gain a very good companion in the cave, because venenum are quite useful in controlling plants, they are usually the ones that help the forest grow flowers and delicious fruits that people eat, but the ones that do control plants are quite rare to find so I guess it might take a while, and I want to level up’

She said the last part really slowly; it must be because she is much weaker level wise than argus and wants to get stronger, I guess I should help her, but what the hell is a venenum?

“Okay fine but since I don’t have a weapon I will have to use dash” I don’t really have a weapon and I might die, viria’s note really scared me.

‘Its okay father you can have this’ aqua made a compressed dagger out of water and gave it to me, I thought that the water might fall apart but no it didn’t.

“Cool!! you can do these types of things” I was awestruck to find out she can do this.

‘yes!.. yes! Now let’s go!’ she said with an excited voice,

We entered the cave to find that it was empty, but wait, there’s a slight low steep that acts has a stair case and that had a door on the left, there must be floors.

It has been hours.

Sometimes we would find dark creatures that had no visible form and kept on ambushing us, honestly it was annoying, throughout the whole time it was just these creatures.

During our sixth floor Aqua leveled up and gained her second evolution, because she shot and killed a lot of monsters, nothing much happened but it looked like she can absorb, control and make more water.

I didn't level up much because she would do the fighting, if I was going to kill something she would shoot compressed air stealing my prey, I only leveled up twice.

We were finally on the eight floor and honestly I was getting tired, it looked like sleepiness finally struck me.

‘How many hours have passed and were only in the eight floor..’

‘Over here father’ aqua said with a steady and polite voice,.

‘Seems like the evolution changed her attitude or she’s also starting to get bored’ I groggily walked next to her and noticed that in front of us is a big double door made out of, I think, emerald gems.

‘It’s the boss of the dungeon, the reason I went here was not only to level up but to also defeat the thing that killed my mother, it seems that after every five years the boss would reincarnate and have different body and ability but the soul is the same’

“Whoa so reincarnation is real?” that’s impossible because if that thing is reincarnated then it might be the one that was in the void, it might be one of us.

‘I’m not sure myself because I have only been here once’ it looked like she had a hard past.

‘Anyway let’s go!’ she said when she opened the door.

“No wait!!..” I didn’t want to meet a boss without analyzing it, because we have big disadvantage. But in front of me was a spider.

“what the heck!!” the spider had six legs, emerald gem eyes, was green in color that faded to purple down to the legs and was the size of a house, a freaking house!!

‘It’s a spider this time, I guess this will be easy, father please back away I’ll deal with this,’ aqua was having a moment and showed her desire to kill that thing, beside what is that thing.

I was going to use [Info] but the spider noticed us and jumped all the way to the back off the room.

oh yeah the room was nearly the size of a stadium with vines and webs hanging down the ceiling, anyways after the spider landed it shot a purple string like web to us.

‘MOVE!! Its coated with poison’ aqua changed her form to one that had legs to increase her agility and jumped to her left side while pushing me to the corner of the room using water.

‘[Info]’ I took the chance and used info on the spider to see its skills,

“Aqua!! It can shoot poison and change its shape!!” I yelled at aqua, seems like she heard me and nodded.

Aqua started making compressed water needles and shot them at the head and legs of the venenum, it looked painful and it must have because the spider growled and screeched and was now shooting poison and was using it legs to jab aqua.

But aqua was able to dodge by changing its shape and form.

The spider was now bleeding green liquid and was on the verge of dying, because so far aqua was shooting water needles and water globes, when the water globes destroyed its hard carapace she used water needles to destroy the inside.

Aqua was going to do the finishing move when the venenum screeched and out came many baby spiders from its back, it started attacking us, and when I mean us I went to aqua.

Aqua finally killed the boss by making a massive spinning water globe shooting it at the head off the spider making the entire spider guts explode.

*ding*

Aqua leveled up to 48

Wow that’s a lot of levels and the battle didn’t even last an hour, but how do we deal with this, the head exploded but the baby spiders was continuously coming out from the back.

Aqua was using water needle to kill most of them until she changed her form to the flight from flying towards me, it looks like she was holding a big egg.

‘Father when I killed the boss I found these near it’ she presented to me an egg that was a color viridian green with a teardrop shape design, and a ring with an emerald gem on it with a hint of scratches on it, after she gave it to me she went back to fight the hoard of spiders.

‘Hmm.. This ring looks interesting [info]’

Ring of resistance: has a 70% chance to not be infected with any type of poison

Egg of flora: this egg represents a baby venenum is waiting to be born

‘So the ring is a poison resistance ring and this egg has a venenum on it.. Okay guess ill tame it when it hatches’ I wore the ring and kept the egg on my leather backpack, while I was putting it away I heard a ding sound twice,

*ding*

Aqua leveled up to 50

Aqua gained a skill: human transformation

“That was fast!” I knew that the barrier for human transformation was on level 100, but I didn’t knew that it was different for my pets, the help menu said that my pets gains a transformation on level 50 but I didn’t believe it, and now it’s happening.

the battle field was a mess, all the spiders died and what was left was a glowing figure that shined so bright, I was covering my eyes because the light stings, after the light faded I heard a female voice.

“Father?”

Anyways seems like aqua gained a human transformation and a (soon to be) pet spider,

venenum is Latin for poison
