Deep within the Anthill, there was the Ember. Within an impossibly huge white room, a large obsidian shard floated. The obsidian was filled with cracks glowing with many colours as the Ember thrummed within. The room was circular at the base and tapered to a point high above the obsidian. All about the walls were tables, tools and plans, drawn in both papers and light. Erin, a tall and lean woman, sat at a table near the entrance reading a book. An ant entered the room then trembled as a holographic image of a tall, slender, insectile figure appeared above it.
Erin stood and bowed. “Elder sister.”
The image of the ant-mother nodded slightly. “Erin. Where is our father? I need to speak to him.”
“He is busy at the moment.” Erin looked at the obsidian shard that was currently pulsing blue fire. Medhan was hidden within, at work on some new craft.
The ant-mother considered this for a moment. “He has forgotten his calendar. The gods will be here soon. Three of them, each in large chariots.”
“I will meet with them and make the delivery.” The ant-mother accepted this. Erin was the youngest of their father’s works but she was the most pleasant to the eye.
“Be careful with them,” warned the ant-mother. “Gods are prickly, prideful things. Our father does not want trouble yet.”
The outward appearance of the Anthill was quite modest. A simple ranch with several large barns, far from any towns. The gods descended from the skies in their chariots. The Sea Queen emerged from her craft which resembled a large translucent bubble, filled with sea-green water. Kahan, the Great Lord of the Sky, came down in a chariot mounted upon the back of a great eagle. A steel ship bore down and Stonecarver emerged, his giant footprints embedding deeper into the land than any of the ships.

The gods were left waiting for a few minutes before Erin appeared. She treated them with just more than a modicum of respect as she directed servitors to present and then load the merchandise.
To Stonecarver, a thousand rats were designed to hunt and eat void-formed matter. They were intelligent things, capable of boring through the ground and breeding with natural rats to spread their wrought modifications. In exchange, Stonecarver emptied his craft of rare ores, gems and crystals.
For Kahan, a hundred large eggs. From them would grow large condors capable of flying for months without rest. The intelligent birds would then guide larger forces to destroy any void-formed they found. In exchange, Kahan gave one egg. The black egg glittered in bright sunlight momentarily revealing golden writing. Unlike the mined material of Stonecarver, this egg was quickly and carefully whisked away to safety.
For the Sea Queen, five hundred vials of cyan liquid each capable of temporarily transforming an entity into a draconic version of themselves. These dragons could dive into the deepest oceans to find the most hidden towers and break them. In exchange, the Sea Queen produced five thousand vials, each containing the final breath of a mortal. However, she would not give them to Erin, demanding instead to give them only to the wright instead.
Erin knew the value of this particular trade and made an executive decision.

Bookworld Online: Marsh Man
Welcome dear friends, to the Virtual Reality Full Immersion System called Bookworld Online! Your name is David Drake and you are a 10 year old slave to the Marsh Hag. You were bought from your parents when you were only a small child at two years old. You don't really remember your old family at all. That's a good thing, since you would hate them on sight for selling you to her. All you've know for your whole life is pain. You are usually quickly healed and receive a lot of training and experience as her unofficial apprentice. It's unofficial because she would never pay to have you registered as an actual apprentice. To everyone else, you are just the boy she took pity on and brought into her home. What they don't know is that you are much more than that. So much more. You are her food. She uses you as her own personal buffet and she indulges herself quite often. You even have the permanent scars to prove it. You have learned many things from her, mostly without her knowing, since you have been helping more and more with her spell work the last few years and her potion making. The only parts you can't do are the magic condensing rituals that her potions require and the mana infusions that a lot of her other creations need. Do you wish to initiate the Main Storyline with these parameters? Please Note: I publish daily.Second Note: I changed this story to a fan fiction. It is based on Swamp Boy. The old story is about 4 years old and was dropped after 19 long chapters. The author hasn't been online since then, so I figured it was safe to do my own take on it.

Rise
20 years have passed since the Chaos Energy Quake rippled through the Milky Way Galaxy. During the year-long Quake, Chaos Energy became unusable, rendering much of the galaxy’s technology useless, and preventing Chaotics – beings who possess supernatural abilities – from using their powers. The galaxy has since moved on from the Quake, but to this day no one knows what could have caused it. The only broadly possible hints lie with the woefully few Chaotics born during the Quake, such as the seven Chaotics born on the world of Nimalia, homeworld of the Nimalian Territories. The other galactic civilizations see little correlation between the Quake and those born during it, but now that the seven have reached the age of 20, some Nimalians think they may be able to finally learn exactly what caused the galactic disruption two decades ago…

Hiraeth | Regulus Black
The Avery family were one of the few truly pureblood wizarding families left in society. They took pride in a long line of thoroughly talented witches and wizards who all bore the proud status as not only pureblood, but also Slytherins. Lucas Avery was perhaps the most prominent Avery. The boy who befriended Tom Riddle and was part of the Slug Club during his time at Hogwarts. One of the first Death Eaters, he showed tremendous loyalty towards his friend and master Lord Voldemort during his first rise to power. Not only was Lucas active in his duties, he also raised two children to carry his respect into the next generation. One of his children did this with great dignity and honour... Whilst the other did not. Esmeralda (Esme) Avery never truly fit in anywhere. No matter how hard she tried. This case of isolation is perhaps what led Esme to rebel so fearlessly against what was expected against her. Then, in her sixth year at Hogwarts, she did something extraordinary. Not only was this one last desperate escape from the traumatic woes facing her at home, it also cemented her future. One fateful evening would lead Esme not only on a path of discovery but also fear and heartache. Are there any other kind of stories during Voldemort's first rise to power?
