Chapter 7.2
The scene in front of his transformed, he knew that he was no longer on the street. In front of him was a little girl with dark blue hair and a pure white nightgown was seated upon a black chair.
‘Ver-Veronica? thought that was.. All a dream? It was real?’ Adrian asked himself.
Her small white leg was crossed over the other as she laid her head against her hand. Adrian would have thought she was some sort of mafia boss, if he didn’t know otherwise.
“What’s wrong? Everit gave you a wonderful gift, and now you are trying to kill yourself? Humans… fu… humph!” Her tone was cold, clearly she didn’t like the things Adrian was doing.
Adrian didn’t dare say anything, even if he could say anything he still wouldn’t! In front of her, he was clearly a small being who didn’t amount to much.
Veronica sat up straight as she waved her hand and Adrian felt his body was able to move again. She watched as he straightened himself up, but still didn’t say a word.
“Sit.” She spoke as if he was her pet.
Adrian didn’t have anywhere to sit, but he felt immense pressure on him pushing him down. His legs buckled under the weight, as he flopped to the ground.
“Listen. I can’t have you kill yourself, not before you fully change. The world is only halfway done changing, and your friends aren’t fully changed yet either. You think it’s only yourself that have problems in the world? Not one of the others tried to kill themselves… they may have thought about it, but not one has done it! Even if you ran into that wall like a lunatic, you still wouldn’t have died.
Your body can’t take the change, it keeps trying to resist it. Strong will? Strong soul? No matter, you will change!”

Veronica stood up from her seat and walked over to Adrian. As she came forward, he felt like sliding himself back. However his butt was glued down, and he couldn’t move.
Her hand was on the bottom of his chin as she forced him to look up at her. “Originally, I wasn’t suppose to get involved. I’m just an overseer. I exist, but then again, I don’t. However, Everit gave me another task.”
She placed her index finger on his forehead. Adrian started screaming out in pain, but she placed her finger on his lips and his voice no longer leaked out.
‘Aaaaahhh! Fuck, you! Fucking bitch!’ He couldn’t yell out, but he could yell inside his head.
The pain was really intense. It felt like his whole body was being ripped apart, healed, then ripped apart again.
Adrian could feel his bones being crushed, then built back up again. It was like an endless cycle of pain. His skull was changing, his muscles, bones, everything was changing in his body.
Every time he felt as if he would black out, his body was healed. When he wanted to curse in his head, the pain would instantly surge up making him forget about cursing due to the pain.
His brain was flooded with different types of information. Words, places, beings that he never dreamed of. As time passed by, his brain only swelled up with more knowledge.
Veronica was already seated back on her chair as she watched him change. He looked somewhat pitiful, but she could care less. Everitt told her to accelerate the growth, so she did. It wasn’t only him changing, the other Kings were also changing faster than before.
The world experienced earthquakes all day long. At night, the seas roared as water swept up on the land.

How much time passed could only be considered one hour to her. However to everyone else, it was a day.
News spread about saying it’s the end of the world. Banks were robbed, people died, and people were raped. These things happened before, but now no one could go outside without being scared.
This was only the beginning. As the earthquakes and sea’s called down, a new problem occurred. Buildings started disappearing, and replacing them were places never before seen on earth.
Strange enough, all the humans on earth never noticed. The reason could be explained easily. They were all asleep. Every living being on earth was sleep.
It happened early the next morning. Everyone was overcome with drowsiness, then passed out.
By the second hour, Veronica yawned as she stretched her arms. Her gaze focused on Adrian who didn’t look the same no matter how you compared him to his previous self.
“Awaken, Damien.”
If you were confused before... I tell you...
