Menlyn was stunned at first, was she dreaming? Was this all happening to her? It can't be but his warm lips guaranteed that.

Should she give in? It's not like she would likely ever see him again. Just for a moment she would let herself be the stiff Menlyn that she always had been but the one that she would unleash tonight and leave buried for eternity.

She softened her lips hesitantly and she felt his grip tightening around her even more. His other hand cupped her face.

There was a knock on the closet door,

"You two done yet swallowing each other's faces?"

Menlyn pulled back and she felt color rise up to her cheeks. She cleared her throat, "Yes we are not like we were doing anything."

She cringed at her own words,

When they got out she sure had dagger meet her, Chane motioned for her over. Menlyn went over to her and saw that she was smiling.

When the game had finished, Menlyn and the other girls all stood up to leave.

"Hey, I didn't get your name."

Menlyn acted as if she didn't hear him. She walked away fast and when they got to their room she was glad to finally go to sleep.

"Ladies meeting before we all head to bed."

Geez Menlyn groaned inwards was there an end to this? Having girlfriends was fun and all but this was way too much.

She got up and went to the circle they had formed,

"Tell us Birthia you and lover boy do in the closet? Are you two an item?"

"Nope we are not an item and nothing will come from it. I don't think I will ever see him again."

"Why won't you see him again Birthia? we work together."

"I'm in a different department so I doubt I will run into most of you guys."

"That's great for all us, we have a chance. Honestly I thought he would pick Chane."

"Maybe he was shy." the other girls added.

"Totally, you see Chane."

"You guys flatter me too much." Chane replied.

Menlyn wanted to pipe in and add her two cents as to why he might have chose her as these girls made it seem as if it was abominable for her to be chosen by a guy.

Yet she kept her peace, no guy was worth this much energy. If she were fighting over money that would make a lot more sense but a guy, nope that didn't add up.

Finally they went to bed but Menlyn tossed and turned, her lips were still tingling from the kiss. She kept on getting flash backs of it and his hand on her waist and face. It made her beam so much. She scolded herself mentally, she should be focusing on work.

She finally managed to get a lick of sleep. She was up before everyone and just as arranged a car was waiting for her outside. Menlyn got in and headed home, after showering and eating some breakfast she was ready for work.

Menlyn had given her staff a day off but she couldn't afford that for herself, one day gone would cause chaos to so many things.

The day went by fast and the next morning she repeated the same procedure of getting dressed and heading to work.

Menlyn got in first as per usual and most of the staff weren't allowed on her floor level.

She worked all day,

"I'm headed home mam"

"See you tomorrow Christine."

Menlyn realized that she needed to wrap up and head home as it was getting late. After an hour she stood up and gathered her things and went down.

When she neared the front she jumped when she felt a hand go onto her shoulder,

"Found you."
